    Jim Courier always asks the best questions and gives the best commentary. He really should be every broadcaster go-to for tennis. You can tell the guy has the insight and the chill attitude to help players open up and reflect.

    • @lotus630
      @lotus630 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Courier is a better tennis commentator/interviewer than tennis player
      and he was a world no.1 player 😂

    • @ToiletTennis
      @ToiletTennis ปีที่แล้ว +3

      He's great, but sometimes he talks too much 😂

    • @tothelighthouse9843
      @tothelighthouse9843 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I def appreciate Courier's insights but they should just give him a half hour show before the match SO HE WOULDN'T TALKS SO MUCH DURING PLAY. It's super-frustrating, it's a distracted format for people who need to watch movies, text & check their email at the same time. I prefer to really focus on the match. But I'd tune in for Courier's half hour show before the match, for sure, haha!
      Also, unfortunately it's clear who Courier's faves are. I wish as a commentator he'd speak positively & at length about both opponents, rather than identifying with his fave & observing the match from his fave's perspective. For example, Meddy demonstrated superlative defence on so many points in this final, but that was ignored by the commentators in favour of how Yannik played the point or how Yannik felt or what Yannik needed to do.

    • @coacherful
      @coacherful ปีที่แล้ว +1

      John Mac is simply the best .. Courier is just learning..too much flowery word and sugar coating..Simplify your analyzis, direct and not over analyzing the point...Paul from tennis channel is good also..

    Medvedev is looking incredible on hard courts. To come back resilient after so many setbacks is a performance that is amazing and spectacular by any stretch or imagination. Now the intriguing question is whether Medvedev will be able to replicate this enviable form on clay and grass courts where he so far looks pedestrian and mundane. His biggest challenge will ofcourse come from Nadal on clay and Novak on grass.

    Hope he will make some technical changes to his forehand. Even though they seem to not need it, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic all did change their forehand styles. Cause when you age you need to shorten the points and speed up your shots and find ways to win easy.
