      I love it! There's a lot that can be talked about in a speech at a final but I've never heard thanking a court!😂. Being able to joke like that after losing is a very nice touch.

    Carlos just doesn't have any negative vibes. Such a joy to witness this incredible kid's rise and development. All with a joyful humility and commitment beyond his tender years. The men's game is peppered with tremendous young players ready to do some damage. Modern tennis is looking hot again ❤😊🎉

    I think daniil is so mature and wise he's so respectful and humble when he talks about his opponents. Carlos is so young and daniil treats him like a supportive brother this just shows such a class act athlete daniil is. My respect for him 📈📈📈📈

    Medvedev and Rublev are very amusing. I'm guessing Khachanov is funny as well, but he's quieter and I haven't seen him speak much. There seems to be a self-deprecating and ironic streak in Russian mentality, so seeing Russian athletes interviewed is often entertaining. Safin was hilarious as well. Maybe it's a Slavic thing... :)

    Carlos is a good sportsman but otherwise... a boring guy? Maybe he's afraid to show it at his current age, or it doesn't come across due to the English language barrier. However, even young Rafa was a savage when still learning the language and despite being a shy personality.

      Nope. He's equally boring in spanish. This is something almost every great athlete learns in Spain because it's a country where standing out makes you a target so they all try to develop the blandest of personal brands and seem the most humble, polite, unremarkable and non controversial they can be.
