Ever tried IDing a potential enemy/friend on Crusader when the planet is a light beige and so is the instrumentation? "Excuse me while I zoom into your status before I decide to murder you or not." Mmm. We're all in it for the long game, I assume.
Knife has a dedicated binding that is V. Also if it's the same in Live as in the EPTU, you have to use the bad token bindings and not the named ones to get the bindings to work. For example the 3rd bad token binding is the side arm binding.
Another note is that the railgun/missile launcher no longer have their own heavy weapon slot, they use one of your two primary slots. There is also "forgiveness" for pressing the wrong primary button/forgetting which is which, i.e. if you're holding a primary and want to switch to the other one, pressing 1 or 2 will switch primaries, while pressing 1 or 2 when holding anything else will pull out the corresponding gun directly.

I found on my interaction wheel that "V" pulls out my healing gun if you also have that equipped.. thought that was cool because half the time when I press "5", I pull out the multi-tool when I wanted my healing gun and have to press "5" again.. also you might want to mention middle mouse button for cycling between the 3 of each NAV and SCM sub modes..

Your video's are getting better, mate. Improving at fast pace. Good work. Clouds rendering has changed few patches ago. FPS drop between High and Very high is almost none. And in some cases the load on your PC will go more to your GPU so your CPU gets more headroom and everything works better, it's a matter of timing between your hardware components. The less a component have the wait on something it needs, the faster the rendering will be. In your case you get better performance by configuring more heavy graphical settings. It's a special game when it comes performance tuning. :)
OK, so I got to your bit about Master modes. There are actually 3 different master modes you can choose from. There is of course the NAV SCM mode where, as you said, you have guns and shields active, plus countermeasures, there is then the NAV Quantum mode that you showed which bring ups locations you can jump to, providing they are in your field of view. The one you missed is the NAV flight mode. This is the flight mode with the quantum generator turned off. This is a mode I use all the time. I use dual stick though so I am unaware as to what the keyboard command is for it. Maybe someone here can post it for folk?

That is to say that when you swap to NAV QTM by holding down 'B', pressing the middle mouse button will then swap between the NAV QTM, NAV FLT and NAV SCN modes. I hope that helps?
One important note is that, at least for me, using Vulkan with any form of upscaling (DLSS or CIG TSR) both made my game crash to desktop multiple times for no apparent reason. As soon as I disabled it I managed to play again without any crashes. I'm running an RTX 3080ti 12gb, m.2 ssd, 32gb of ram and an i7 10700k by the way.
Vulkan seems to cause all sorts of issues with HDR in my setup. When it worked, it felt really smooth, though. I've got a RTX 3090 24gb, m.2 ssd, 64gb of DDR5, and i9-12900K. Tested with auto-HDR both disabled and enabled, and beta HDR in SC enabled and disabled. Going back to DirectX11 fixed the HDR issues, so I'll stick with that until Vulkan's a little more polished.
Would still love to see them get rid of the boxes on the HUD! And also, I like to hold F (space bar for me) and look at my weapon and the menu comes up with Customize as one of the options. Great video, as usual, will watch the rest later. Thanks Man!!
I believe the behavoir around cruise and throttle control has changed as well, I noticed some subtle differences, perhaps this can be explored in more detail.
Cruise control was replaced with sticky throttle, which targets your CC speed as usual but still allows you to use forward/back controls to speed up/slow down
I think the fact that there is even a max ship speed is counter-intuitive because there's no drag(or negligible) in space. They should at least remove the max speed for ships and set a global speed cap(based on game engine performance) while in nav mode instead of a per ship cap. Like you can maybe argue that shields create some kind of drag at high speeds.

In 3.22, default loadout is 4 size 4 rhinos, but you can equip 2 size 5 and 2 size 4. In 3.23, they adjusted the positions of the guns and you can now equip 4 size 5 guns, which is what it originally was supposed to do.

To clarify IF you have an NVIDIA card DLSS is best, for AMD you are better off using TSR CIG have built this to resolve issues in the AMD option of FSR.
A recommendation to everyone before they first play this patch is to clear your shader cache. There is a lot of graphical changes coming within this patch

Add a secondary weapon and see if pressing 2 is for that. It seems intuitive in that 1 is your primary, 2 is your secondary, 3 is your side arm etc.
Both 1 and 2 draws a primary (rifle or similar) weapon.
I do this for my mouse buttons, one for rifle, sidearm, heavy, and medgun/tractor beam

2 = secondary gun (if you have one)
3 = pistol
4 = medpen
5 = gadget
6 = hand to hand/knife if you have one

I think the 1 and 2 buttons are based of the weapon slots. Pressing 1 gets you the weapon in slot 1, and pressing 2 gets you the weapon in slot 2.
I hope so, that's better than cycling 1 to get the weapon you want.

I think you can fly at fast speed and still have shields in SCM Scan mode (cycling the modes with center mouse button) SCM - Guns/Missiles/Scan.

Yeah automatically has bigger weapons . Corsair comes with S5 and S4 now.

Yes, I have 40-70 fps on orison now on 4 k , much smoother. But there are still bugs sometimes game crash because of upscaling.

Yes it is, go somewhere where there is a lot of detail, and you will see native 4k Lot of stutering and sharp corners,dlss better smoothness.
DLSS is the only one that’s better quality than native due to it being hardware upscaling instead of software like the other options.

Try deleting the shader cache in the local app folder. That fixed it for me.
