In 1996 a Judge ruled that if it is a signal in the air that it was not against the Law for anyone to intercept the signal. Anyone who knows how to hack Wi-Fi can watch and record what your camera's see. The Same thing goes for using a Baby Monitor camera.
Including tablets, we got my girls fire tablets for Christmas so they could watch their shows or play games without internet access. A Amazon worker accessed my daughters when trouble shooting and downloaded her pictures.

I had brother in law who installed them around their home, after someone broke in, and he set one up in the living room, so it always felt kind of creepy thinking you were being watched. One of son also has them all over his property including inside. while keeping your home safe it can also be an invasion of ones privacy, you definitely don’t want to forget they’re on while walking across the room in your birthday suite. LOL
Yorkies will let you know each time a car goes down the street literally! I have two of them! They start barking, then get the two Golden Retrievers going and I think someone would be nuts to try and break in!

The biggest threat however is an occasional employee that have ready access to keys. The camera system I have now is fantastic but i need to return it soon. These look fantastic!

We ordered 4 cameras and put some up at a property we own but don’t live at rn. I did warn my husband not to hide any inside where we live, there were already cameras outside of this house that we use.
Mom and I were thinking that putting one at your off-site Chicken Run area that way you can keep an eye on them and see if you have any unwanted animals visiting like the two-legged and the four-legged variety. Just be careful about having security cameras showing the interior or your house. My sister and brother-in-law added cameras inside their house a few years ago. My sister was pulling up the cameras to show a friend how it worked on her phone. At that moment, her husband (who was home alone) walked naked from their bedroom to the bathroom. Needless to say, they changed where that camera was aimed.

Cameras outside are also good for watching the children.we also have one in the living room that points thru to the kitchen. So we can see what the kids are doing inside while we're busy outside. Helps us control the junk food as well. I hate it on if I'm inside all day, because I feel like it's invading my privacy of movement threw the house.

Any camera that can be connected to your phone through the internet can be hacked or tapped into ...not really the best idea unless you dont mind big brother watching youre every move and animal...but still nice to see you trying to add some safeguards to your homestead
