From what I can tell there is no way to light the keypad which just plain sucks. I installed mine a few days ago and couldn't believe it. If I'm wrong let me know.
Hi all purchased this exact microwave a few years back and it stopped heating. Everything else works just fine. Might this be a fuse?

Yeah, might be.
You could have a loose wire or bad fuse. Check both of those if not than could be your Magnetron. Samsung's Magnetron warranty are usually 10 years. Hope this helps!
After 2 and half years no power. Power supply is good and breaker is good. Could it be the fuse? But it doesn't look easy to get to the fuse on this model

The fuses aren't that hard to get to. You just need to take out a couple of screws and the door must be open to do that. You also need to take out a single screw from a metal shield and this will allow you to see/get to the fuses. Just make sure the unit is unplugged.
The door won't latch and the light won't go off and it doesn't run ..the timer works but does activate the motor.
You need to replace the door latch assembly. This is a common problem on all microwaves when they get old enough. The latch catch attachment bracket the holds the microswitch is plastic and wears or bends over time.

Go on Repairclinic.com and put your microwave model # in search bar. It will have all the replacement parts list for replacement purchase. Hope this helps.
Can someone answer how to set the clock on this Microwave? The instructions are horrible. "Use control Setup to change" I see no such option.

Does anybody know what the DF - 1 means on the keypad for defrost
DF-1 mean you are in the defrost setting. This lowers the appliance's power between 20 to 30 percent. This allows the microwave to defrost food without cooking it, which allows you to thaw frozen food more quickly than in the fridge.

The carboard should not be removed, it's purpose is to covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity. Hope this helps!

Sound like your microwave may be in DEMO MODE. Make sure it's not in that mode. If that doesn't work. It could be the Magnetron is bad. Hope this helps.

I got it off demo mode but still says run when entering 1 minute and start. It goes in seconds. So it don't heat.
Did you ever get the “run” being displayed, resolved? Mine is doing that now also and the turntable is no longer turning. Advice? Fix the “run” to stop displaying?
I took it out of demo mode as requested but it still is in run and won't heat. If I put it on 2 minutes, it goes quickly as in seconds. This is aggravating.
We are looking for instructions how to operate this model. Needing setting options details. We have hit a button that says RUN next to the clock. Now the turntable does not move, even though the button says ON. Samsung is no help either . Very crappy customer service.
Make sure the microwave is set to a cooking function, not a timer function. If your microwave has a turntable on/off feature, make sure it's not turned off. Hope this helps!
Hi. I just bought this microwave. Can you tell me how do clean where the letters are located the ones you press? I'm scared the letters get peeled off or smudge.

How do you turn the power level up
Enter the length of time you would like to microwave your food, then hit OK, then set the power level from 1-10 (10-100). Hope this helps.
