Did you make that "Family" sign behind the stove. I have a very similar setup and am wondering what I can do with that gap between the granite backsplash and the new bespoke stove
Thank you for watching and subscribing. I'm thankful for your support 💯 Samsung sells a metal backslash that attaches to the back you can use, or these signs work perfectly . Thank you for watching and subscribing. I'm thankful for your support. 💯 You can set the clock to 15 minutes max. However, there is a slight workaround using Samsung SmartThings. What you want to do is set up routines and allow anytime you turn on your bespoke range it will turn on your microwave fan. Once this happens, it will stay on until you shut the fan off. It's a little annoying because the fan is on; however, it does set the fan to the lowest setting available, so it's not too bad. As of right now, this is the only way to keep it on longer. You would just get the part replaced that broke. it's unlikely that you would need a entire new door. But it would just really depend on what's goes wrong. But you are still able to get to the board, ect, still.
@JbTechFanatic Hello JB. Thanks for the reply. I have replaced the TouchPad on a SMH2117S several times. It's a peel and stick application with a ribbon cable to connect. The touch pad on this unit appears to be integrated into the door... Then again, maybe it is inserted between the door and the glass. That's my concern. I think the asthetics of this system are excellent. My experience with Sammies is that in 2-3 years, repairs will begin.
You didn't review the microwave. You did an overview of the features. How well does the stock popcorn feature work? How loud is the microwave when it is cooking? How well does it actually heat food? How good is the sensor cooking when heating leftovers? Does the popcorn sensor just use a steam sensor, or is there another mic sensor to monitor popping? This being just an overview with all the wrapping still on the product makes me think you had the microwave for a very brief amount of time.
The popcorn feature works really well. Very few of any seeds left when done. This is an auto sensor cook microwave, so no mic is used. The microwave is a higher end powerful 1000-watt, so it heats food excellent. New smart features have improved on the sensors that Samsung has used for years in their auto sensor line with many meal options available using Samsung's smartthings food. Microwave noise levels as in Lightwave ovens or microwave ovens generate a vibration noise of 45 to 50 decibels (dB) in the process of creating high frequencies. They should all be around the same in this type of microwave. I show the fan noise at all levels as this will vary by the power of the fan. The plastic is still on even now, but I used it roughly 35 days before the review. I have used the last 3 models for years that all follow the same spec and internal build and function.
I have a lot of smart devices and quite a few pretty sophisticated home automation routines but i cannot figure out a real use case for a smart microwave. I wanted to hear one, but sorry, I can’t justify it and I WANT TO. :-)
The most useful is when I start to cook on my samsung induction top stove, it automatically turns on the light and fan speed to my needs. In addition, it also automatically syncs with the oven vent and adjusts to the fan automatically when needed. The oven vent is on the back top of the stove to perfectly alline the vent and fans . You also have voice control for light and fan. All the other stuff is just fun .
Thank you for watching and subscribing. I appreciate your support. 💯 Yes, it should work. Try turning it on with Samsung SmartThings. If it turns on that way, get a replacement microwave because it might be damaged. If it doesn't, then it might just be a burnt light; they should just send you a replacement light. It depends on whether it's already installed and how hard it is for you to remove it, as to what you should do. But if it's easy, just exchange the entire unit if it's bad or just replace the light if its easier. th-cam.com/play/PLMdd-qroR8HWEqr_PC_WL8yr0YMvV6I6k.html&si=R-mP44ZKtfG-WtsV
