Amen! Particularly vag group have made things more difficult to do what should be a quick change. I have a mk5 golf and it is just a case of pulling out the old grill and pushing in the new grill- I know because I changed this and the fog light covers which are just simply held in with one screw so why do they make it so contrastingly difficult on the mk6! Makes no sense
This is why perfectly good cars are getting written off. By the time the £100 an hour workshop have dismantled that grill for instance and replaced with a new one and possibly fog lights, it costs more than the car is worth.
That’s the Germans for you! If it can be awkward it will be! the German autist who designed the part will have an exact procedure service bulletin and man hours required to extract the grill - your just doing it wrong - rover turbo 😂
