"The wheels are circular" - proper in-depth reporting there :P This vid is fantastic for so many things - your obvious love for the car and the fun you're having with it, an actual press car review, seeing you actually driving it - and we did see a bit of a cheeky handbrake turn! Shame it was Coventry and not Miami but you can't have it all! Brilliant! :)

Fantastic review. I would have loved this car when I was 16/17, But I would still have one today and I am now 63. When I move back living in a urbane urban are I am going to get one of these.
Very well done on this review, you've outperformed people with far more experience. I'll be picking up an Ami when they come to the UK since it's cheap for a new EV yet does everything I need. 12 mile commute on 30mph roads with 2 people, easy. For anything longer I'll get a rental car.

First time, I realize seeing two of them together, that one better remembers well in the morning, where exactly it's parked since in the evening, there could be many others parked nearby.
I had something like this when I had a motor home it was a porta loo but the difference was mine didn’t have wheels 😆. I wouldn’t like to be involved in an accident in that 🙈. No matter what you review though I love your presentation style 👍

It's refreshing to see a genuine review and in depth analysis of a vehicle being spoken about for what it is clearly made for.. trips to the local supermarket and gentle drive and sightseeing.. and to be perfectly honest; on a 45mile single charge; I could quite easily get 2weeks to a full month of usage on a single charge ☺️👍 Really looking forward to seeing Citroen's PCP finance options in August 👍
I live in France, and can see this ami being customised a lot it will be a great project.Im also seriously thinking about long term rental it's 20 euros a month at moment.

Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say. It does indeed have spring suspension, independent at the rear too. The ride is quite stiff, but it definitely isn’t unbearable. Thanks for watching.
this is a super cool car. I think that such - are the future (for sure in Europe). even now, I would like to get something like an "electric bike with a roof" so that you can ride in the rain, or even in the winter..
I think it's good for fleets hire and I don't like the way to charge it because you leave the door open so you are only able to charge it at home in your private driveway
You've done the Ami which was great, how about Renault getting you to do the Twizy. We need a balance impartial review and you're now the only person qualified to do it.
If Renault won't help you put a shout out to Andy Kirby on TH-cam he seems such a nice guy iam sure he would help out an aspiring young TH-camr, he's got a brilliant Twizy check him out especially his Twizy videos .
Dude, you're only 15? Your voice and presentation skills are amazing. But yeah, I am fascinated by this little thing and kinda want one even though it would be almost totally useless in suburban US where I live.
Parked in a quiet place, with a few cushions, one could make it cozy and go read a book inside, which is interesting if one has a rather dark house, I guess??
@@DanielDrives Is it cuter than my 1990 Citroen 2CV6 Charleston?? Sadly like the 2CV the only way to get one in Australia is to import it yourself.... And then you would not be allowed to use it on the road because we don't have a quadracycle category....

Not locked, but they are secured shut on a latch that is undone from the inside.
