That's awesome to hear! And oh no! Please remember to take breaks! :D Like I showed in this video even if you only have 15-30 minutes you can make a difference on the front! Feel free to DM me on discord if you ever have any questions or need help with anything!
This may not be the most efficient method, but if you spawn into a front there are usually some trucks sitting around clogging things up that can be driven back for grabbing supplies.
I really like doing extreme frontline logistics; smuggling. It's so nerve-wrecking navigating a supply truck (or a motorcycle if impossible to do a truck run) through enemy territory. Scouting for watchtowers, climbing over defences with a vehicle, taking impossible routes. Even carrying the supplies in my inventory at a crawling speed if I have to. Makes my heart pump bloody fast.
Nice! I haven't really had a good opportunity to do this yet in Foxhole but I want to one day! It's like when we were surrounded in The Baths in war 106 and people were smuggling in supplies to us. Sounds fun! I love it! Thanks for sharing that!
Another tip for aspiring frontline delivery pros: While your regular truck can fit 15 crates of supplies, you can always carry 1 crate in your own personal inventory as well, making it so that you can actually deliver 16 crates with 1 delivery trip! This definitely adds up over time :D Great vid!
True! As someone with 1,500+ hours I still forget this one! I haven't built the muscle memory to remind myself to grab that one extra crate lol. I need to find a way to remind myself of this one! Thanks for sharing that and the kind words!
You bring sixteen crates, And what do you get? Another day older and a couple commends. Callahan don’t you call me cause I can’t go, I owe my soul to the logi corp.
For any casual players: 30 mins spent delivering bmats, shirts or anti-tank can mean the difference between a Relic Base being green or blue. One shipment can make a big impact, especially if that spot hasn't had any logi help for a long time.
There was one time me and 2 other medics are yelling "DONT TAKE BANDAGES AND SCAVENGE IT BACK FROM THE FRONT!" for 2 hours because we weren't supplied since forever and shirts are dwindling, bandages are scarce and colonials are relentlessly pounding the townhall (It was early war, so they only have armored car, fortunately). Then suddenly, a honk from heaven can be heard from the supposedly cut-off backline followed by a loud cheer from everyone there. A single logi dude blockade-run the supplies for us and we were then shortly after, relieved, and push back the 3 hours long assault. Respect from medic to all logi out there, both blue and green. (I also made medical supplies myself)
3:29 I love that the creator of that diagram has no idea how pyramid of needs works (essentials at the bottom, because pyramids are built from the ground up) but at least the "High priority" arrow is there...
Looks like they made it that way because of how many more items there are to include further down. Maybe it should've been an upside-down pyramid? Or probably some completely different kind of visual aid.
The biggest tip I have is: when in doubt, ask (talk/type or both). Simply communicating in this game gets you 110% of the way there. I also have tips for new and low-ranked players to avoid getting into unpleasant conversations from teammates. These behaviors should be avoided, especially when new or low ranked, because it'll attract the wrong kind of attention from your teammates: A) Do not pull shirts out of bunker bases, town halls, etc. On top of taking forever to pull, it is harmful to the war effort. Instead, pull crates from seaports and depots. (Yes, Robert sometimes does this in his other videos, but I strongly do NOT recommend this if you are low ranked; consider it an "advanced technique") B) Need a ride, and you see a truck or vehicle on a crane? Leave it alone, follow Robert's advice instead: pull a truck from a depot/seaport stockpile or build your own. C) Need a ride, and found a fire truck? Please leave it alone, using it as a taxi greatly harms the front.
Hard agree! Love it! This is something I tell new players all the time as well. Love these other tips as well! There are so many unwritten rules in Foxhole that being a new player is hard and sometimes vet players don't have patience to teach them or help them which is frustrating to me. Thanks for sharing these!
@@NoNameAtAll2it’s to put out fires on the front. Just imagine ur house is burning in front of you and you realize your little cousin just grabbed the keys to the fire truck and took it for a spin
First few times I did logi, I did the full logi loop, fully farmed and crafted everything, just didn’t know about warehouses Glad I don’t do that anymore, but at the same time happy I did, it gave me little more appreciation for the whole system I feel, got to learn a few extra things
Oh I did the same thing! I found the more I played the more efficient I became with my time and logi task. And same it makes me appreciate the entire logistics system as well. And knowing that if I just do one part of it someone else will come and start the next part when I log off.
your videos are amazing and foxhole is getting a huge wave of new players thanks to u Robert. I think many TH-camrs tried (my self included as I worked for a foxhole content creator for 2 years) but never manage to do so successfully as you do! Congrats and thanks! I am sure devs loves you too!
Thank you! And I'm glad to hear that! Thank you for saying all that means a lot! I'm starting year 3 of just constant Foxhole content creation with no end in sight :D
I will always say this, ask the locals if you're there what they'd like. There is almost always someone asking or making a note on the map and honestly it always worked for me and friends.
I love front-line logistics. Some of the most memorable moments are when, after long hours of production: I drive tanks into the surrounded city by water, bypassing the enemy patrol; I break through the outposts of the greens in a fortified truck; I drive through the fields, bypassing the partisans; I organize a coravan with the cover of armored vehicles. Yes, this does not always happen, more often you just take bandages to the frontline base, but the words of gratitude of dozens of fighters are priceless.
A friend of mine was on about Foxhole and I found your channel Robert and am learning all about logi from your videos... needless to say I bought the game and now I'm obsessed! Thank you!
Excellent vid Robert 👍Some more tips I usually give to the people riding along my logi runs: + Your cargo is worth more than the person's life whose guts you have to hose off the truck. + Whether you have to make it, beg for it or steal it. Just get the gear to the front, it's war son. + Practice the 180 turn submit all. It might save your life someday and end the lives of people in the way. + When you're ambushed by partisans swap seats before you dismount, gives you cover and they gave away their position. + Drive it like you stole it. + Hesitation means death.
I just got the game 2 days ago and I’m loving it! I’m pretty clueless though so I’ve been watching your videos, which are part of the reason I got the game. My first logi experience was on my second day, after about 2 hours of grueling frontline combat I tried logi. I brought 120mm arty shells to a back line stockpile to be used in an operation scheduled for the upcoming hours.
Welcome to Foxhole! That's awesome to hear! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help learning anything! Would be happy to help! And that sounds like a fun task to do! Thanks for sharing that!

As new player this war, I’ve got 70 hours into the game and every time I try I can never find a truck that has nobody around that might be using it, and that isn’t locked
If you are trying to find a truck in the midline to frontline hexes they can be hard to come by. Sometimes a front will have a lot of trucks but they are all locked because they don't want enemies stealing them. So then you need to find a wrench. The sure way to get a truck without taking a risk of ones not being available is the very back hexes. There should always be some in seaports or bmats to make a new truck.
I've been doing a "mid logi" style that keeps all the basics going, so that other logi who know the game better can do the more "expensive/complicated" logic in their respective spaces and groups. I also haven't been using the Mass Production places. A) they are far away from where I am at currently and B) I've been using the refinery timer to go supply the "middle", again, strictly with the very basic Logi things so that other logi can focus on the "good goods" I gather the scrap, refine it to bmats, shirts, grenades, rifes and ammo for them, with the occasional radio, gas mask, wrench, sandbag and shovels. using that graph but scaling the numbers way higher. What I've gathered from my first week of this game (playing the wardens, I like the underdogs) is... Frontline Logi = reactionary logi, short travel times within 6 mins one way trip is max efficient. Anything longer and you start to arrive a little too late and people are screaming for more so your stuck going back and forth longer than usual. (My made up)Mid Logi = solo logi, you overstock* the middle ground and tell Frontline Logi to get their bmats and shirts from there. Again, making it a 6 min or less trip one way for the Frontline so that they can join the front about 15 mins sooner then normal. Backline Logi = Week long prep, making large vehicles, using boats, and trains to move Arty ammo. Don't overstock too much naturally, but being the middle ground, you're trying to get places that won't be outright taken for the foresable future.
Love! That is probably my favorite type of logi to do. That really is more of a supply chain mini game even more so than frontline at times. I'm gonna be honest I don't use mpf's (mass production facilities) that often. Only when I'm working with a logi clan that wants to keep their ques full. If you are doing solo stuff using an mpf is not really necessary in my opinion. Sounds like you do some good logi work! Nicely done! Honestly the way you described everything it sounds like you have a system and good head on your shoulders about it all. Thanks for sharing that!
Frontline logi tip 1: always carry a radio on your frontline logi runs and check often for partisans (on watchtowers or map posts), esp when nearing choke points or border crossings, you may lose your logi to logi cutters partisans. Frontline logi tip 2: if u see a hex where there is almost no tanks or your team is overwhelmed with tanks, consider bringing 1-2 crates of 40mm into the "safer" BB with AI up. This will incentivize some friendly tanks to come in your supplied hex. Frontline logi tip 3: if someone is building a new BB or building a townhall, you can start to prepare a starter kit (this is shirts, some guns, some ammo, bmats, medical supplies, shovels). Advanced Frontline logi tip: start to count on your map if your team tanks (triangle indicator) are getting overwhelmed (e.g. 1 friendly vs 5 enemy tanks), this is when u should consider bringing AT items (if there isn't any AT) even before your team requests for it.
i was a big frontline fighter for the first few hundred hours of foxhole but now just started logi and i gotta say it’s quite fun and engaging, especially with partisans (been supplying westgate front for wardens this war iykyk) it’s just opened a whole new side to foxhole o didn’t really think was as fun as it was
Nice! That's awesome to hear! You will be great at logi because you already have that frontline experience. I love doing logi and supplying the fronts! Thanks for sharing that!
Frontline logi.. going from nearby depots to frontline does save alot of time moreso if they are well stocked, and if theres a heavy truck it can allow to drive right past some partisans which is huge. Also notable advice if your gonna leave you truck at the front, unlock it so someone else can just take it.
Exactly! And midline logi players are the ones that keep them well stocked which is why we need players in that role as well. I'm indifferent about leaving it unlocked. If you leave it unlocked in a secure spot that's good but if the front does not have a lot of defenses it might be better to keep it locked if there are some wrenches in the bunker. Just so partisans don't steal them. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
YESSS!! LOGISTICS VIDEOOSS!!! I love the pop Quizess. I literally pause the video like this base had 26 bmats and no shirts and guns. Those the materials They need
Woo! I've wanted to make a logi video for while now! Glad I found some time! Hopefully making the backline one next week. And I'm glad you like the pop quizes!
_Takes down notes for potential logi runs later._ Looking forward to the back logi video. I wanted to try and make materials last night and was quite flustered by what was okay, what wasn't, what was public, what wasn't, and what buildings to use what materials at. It was a lot so i ended up doing midline/frontline logi Dx
Ha! Hopefully I gave you some good tips for your notes! I will hopefully plan on making the backline video for next week if I find time to do it! Glad you at least got to do some logi! Feel free to DM me on discord as well if you have any questions or need help learning anything. Happy to help now if you don't want to wait for the next video.
Frontline Logi tip: + Don't bring expensive items unless somebody specifically asks for it. (Expensive items are things that cost Refined Material to make)
Agreed! Stick to the basics unless a team or squad has a specific operation they want to do. Or just let them figure out the logistics part if they need to get those supplies.
Agreed! I would say for me right now for this current war frontline logistics has been a lot of fun. I would bet next war I focus more on backline since I haven't done much serious backline logistics for the last 2 wars. Mainly been midline and frontline.
It would be cool if this table of materials/supplies at 4:25 could be marked by players with a desired # of those specific types of supplies, and then you can switch the view between what it currently has and what the desired quantities are. Without it, it seems like knowing what to supply depends on the logistics player's own experience and intuition of the situation combined with someone responding clearly to logistics chat inquiries.
If I plan on doing frontline logi, I sometimes do drive all the way from the backline to the frontline. You have wars were public logi in midline ports or depots is lacking and backline is the only way to get what you need. I also encourage setting a full queque of logi trucks in the MPF, so you can just hop on and pull a truck from your private stash without having to play the "find a truck" minigame.
@@RobertLovesGames I agree. Most of those operations happen during the normal week days. And are mostly side projects. Meaning that its done outside regiments and bij solo players.
Woo!! Loved making this video! I need to make more logi videos because they are my favorite :D I felt so bad I couldn't chat with the player by the garage but I was on a mission to see how fast I could do the logi run with out interruptions.
While totally agree leaving a truck can be faster overall, players please take 30seconds to try and ensure it's not blocking or congesting a high-traffic areas. Frankly same goes with anywhere - not just the front. Last war I spent days just keeping a logi-town policed and uncongested from abandoned vechs. Most got shoved back in the seaport.. others got organized on the public-lot, refueled, and ready to go. Sometimes I just like being the Logi-Man's Logiman.
Agreed! Or blocking AI defensive structures! I should have mentioned this! My bad! And trust me I have spent some evenings just cleaning up a front or just cleaning up a town :D I am sort of frustrated by it but sort of like it as well. Like I'm cleaning up my room or something. Thanks for sharing that!
I'm quite new to the game, but I did some frontline logi before last war ended and what I can suggest: - DON'T BE SCARED. When you sit in the back and mid lane, it's quiet and safe, but if you go to the very front, you can easly be killed with your cargo, but you need to keep in mind that YOUR JOB IS A "BO OR NOT TO BE" for that bases. Don't give a damn about Commends, it's nice to get some, but you know what's better? Hearing proxy chat: "Yo dude, you rock" (actual quote what I heard), "How the f**k you get that much here, jeez" (this one is for another story). Then you'll feel like a true hero, like you really made a difference, and then you will really get the motivation to do it over and over again. - IF mid storehouses or seaports are well stocked and you don't need to rush with deliveries, so you decide to go back to mid "on wheels", grab heavy duty truck. A difference is HUGE. First, it's quite fast, even fully loaded. Second, it actually HAS armor so that means you will not get stopped by a few bullets (forcing regular truck to stop is around 82% of HP, heavy duty around 50%). Third, it's a MUST if you wanna tow guns to the frontline. For example for Wardens, regular truck is literally snailing, especially on hills (don't stop or you'll not going again and will need to go back down and run again). Landmover (wardens logi half-truck) is little slower than basic on roads, but slightly faster off-road and when towing (or I just felt like it). Heavy duty truck while massively overloaded and towing Heavy 68mm was like a race car, where on turns my towed gun drifted like driven by Vin Deasel in well known movies. Of course you could just leave it on the front and respawn in the back or something BUT first, this truck is quite expensive to make (40 pcmats, where only a handfull of places have them stocked to public), second, you need small assembly station with an specyfic upgrade which will allow you to make one, and third, it takes 10 minutes to make it so it will make leaving old one and respawning actually pointless. - I mentioned overloading before - don't be scared of it. According to wiki (and what I personally experienced) it doesnt matter if you have 150, 200 or 500% cargo weight - penalty for encumbering is max 25%. - Don't feel like you need to make supplies you want to get to the frontline. Everything you see in storehouses and seaports is PUBLIC, so don't feel like you're stealing or something. You just go there, grab what you need without batting an eye and go. - Just before entering the danger zone ASK in chat about road status. Maybe you have a radio, but if you need to go by the part where arent your teammates or watchtowers, you can meet an enemy partisan who will easly stop you. In most cases there are people who are scanning logi roads just to make your duty safer. IF it's really bad and roads are occupied by hostlies, you can decide to go offroad (preferably in landmover or heavy-duty truck). Frontline logi in my opinion is best suited not only for a new players, but for solos as a whole. Running a facilities, gathering the resources, transporting them to refine to materials and then supplying the facilities will be overwhelming for solo's and will easly cause players to "burn out".
Nice! And do it! Always can use more logistic clans in Foxhole :D Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions about the game or need help learning once you get it!
For that last base I would’ve supplied a lot more AT tbh. A bit unfair on my behalf as I was in that fight. However, you can see their tank line South of the relic on the map and they only have a few stickies.
"I saved this player 10 minutes from making their own logi truck." LOL we both know that man wasn't aboutta make one. you saved another man from THAT man stealing THEIR truck! XD (jkjk thanks for the vids Robert!)
lol! Well since I was there early and trying to look for a truck that was not being used myself they wouldn't have found one. Otherwise I would have stolen it ;) And no problem!
Awesome video- I loved the test you did at the end. I need to get that color coding on my game, for sure. What do you think about restoring capabilities to forward bases? Like if they have a fair amount of GL grenades but no launchers, is it worth throwing a crate of GLs instead of an extra crate of more commonly used supply? Or is it better to do a dedicated second run to bring more of those capabilities at once for prolonged and widespread usage?
Thank you! And glad you enjoyed the quiz at the end :D Here is the mod for the colored items. Let me know if you need help setting it up. sentsu.itch.io/foxhole-ui-label-icons And it really depends on how low the commonly used supply is. For example bmats, shirts, rifles, ammo, and medical equipment should always be top priority. But if you see all of those things are in decent spots then adding 1-2 crates of GL wouldn't be a terrible thing. Especially if you are planning to do multiple trips. Hope that helps!
Thank you! One of us! One of us :D Remember to take breaks! And like I showed in this video even if you just jump on for 15-30 minutes you can make a difference!
Personally I do one specific type of logi, some may not even consider it much logi. I do facilities, I mainly make tanks and other stuff with pads, I will then get a boat, find a good water logi route and deliver my tanks or whatever else I make. Sometimes I get other people to help me. I also make sure to make ammo and other key materials for tanks. I'm not a big fan of other types of logi, a little too boring for my standard.
Nice! Just ask in chat if you can join anyone. Or look in the backline hexes storage depots and seaports and you can probably find a tank sitting in public stockpile. Then all you have to do is get the supplies for it and find a driver. If you need help with this or finding a group to play with DM me on discord!
Don't park logi trucks right at the forward base. Either drive them back to the nearest seaport/depot for other players in the midline, or at least a hundred meters back so they don't get in the way of frontline fighting.
The problem I always have doing a front line Logistics is figuring out which forward face to deliver to when there's like four or five and I know only one is active, but I'm not sure which one
Look for where the most green or blue dots are depending on what side you are on. Like I mentioned in the video spawn in some backline grab a radio and really look at the map for while. Once you have done this enough times you will get faster with it. Feel free to DM me on discord if you still need help figuring this out :D
@@RobertLovesGames Thanks for the tip! We're getting better, managed to get the truck to within 30 meters of the proper base, but had to let someone else drive it the rest of the way. Kept getting stuck in dead ends and blocked by trenches. Also holy s*** we're losing this war fast 😂
maybe you should do a video on night time gameplay. My friends and i are new to the game but we just kinda use the nighttime as an opportunity to afk bio. Wish they'd make the daytime longer and the nighttime shorter. like a 3:2 ratio or something.
I'm going to be honest I absolutely hate night time gameplay. Which is why in most of my battle videos you see me either building, or doing logi during the night. I can't stand night time combat ha. I think taking a break during the night is good. But if you want to be useful during the night build or do logi rather than just stand around. And I wish the same thing! I would love if day time was more like 60-70%.
i just bought the game for the logi, i was wondering, i heard people complaining about not enough people getting scrap, so is it worth it to stick with back line logi, or at least prioritise it unless the front line is collapsing? PS- a new Warden
There's often not enough stuff being produced in the backlines so I wouldn't worry too much about frontline logi if that's not your jam. There are usually enough flexible logi who will adjust according to backline supplies and frontline supplies.
Welcome, fellow Warden! Any logi effort you do is valuable. Collecting scrap ("scrooping") is one of the easiest things to jump into that is exclusively on the back line. And since Wardens are under-populated this war, there's a shortage of everything. Try out what you like, when you like. There's always people with competing ideas on what the highest priority tasks ought to be; up to you to decide whether it suits your interests as well.
Nice! Scrap is something that is always needed at all times. It's never ending. What you should be doing as a logi player is what sounds fun to do. Fronts are always collapsing, bunkers always need xyz supplies, stuff always needs made in the back. You kind of get where I am going with this? Yes sometimes there are emergency logistics that needs done but for now you don't have to worry about that. You will understand that more after you have played for a bit. Do the logi that sounds like the most fun for you at the time. If you need help finding direction with logi feel free to DM me on discord and I'd be happy to help!
@@RobertLovesGames combat scares me, never fired a gun, backline logi is my place atm i have been doing "scrooping" to refinery to factory and depositing it in public storage, this video has confirmed that i shouldn't be running up to frontlines, but i would ask advice on how to respond to logi clans that "claim" resource fields and shoo you off for being clanless? Thanks for the advice anyway from you and the other responses :)
Hello , is there any regiment that is specialized just in logistics? Or major part logistics? Cause I love doing logi but I'm by myself and is really hard/doesn't look worth it to do it like that when you see regiments like 82dk with 200 tanks on a train Thanks BTW I speak spanish/english/Romanian 😊
Absolutely. Island logi is a whole different game. I did quite a bit of it when the islands were first introduced. The main thing I did was make a ton of items when they had factories and transported the items on freighters over to the mainland to keep those seaports well supplied for frontline logi players. I may have to do an island logi video in the future.
I have a mod that makes them sound different if that's what you mean. magnavox777.itch.io/super-uber-fantastical-foxhole-sound-mod Let me know if that is not what you mean and I will try to help where I can :D
Watching videos like this to learn more definitely helps. I would say the first thing you should do is join a front and just go around shooting for a bit. Unless there is something specific you want to learn right away. Join my discord and DM me and I can answer any questions for you and help you learn what you want to get into if you want!
Great question! I call that midline logi and I have a video on that as well. So you have the very back hexes which are backline logi, then the frontline hexes where battles are happening which is the frontline logi and then anything in between that is midline logi. Does that make sense? They all have different roles and things they should focus on.
I must've chosen the wrong place to make my backline solo base, 'cause the stockpiles around are so depleated i ended up having to do scrap-to-midline playing today.
Brand new player here. Tried this but all the sea ports and storage buildings have barely anything in them. idk if I'm just looking in the wrong places or something but it seems to me like we have barely anything. :/
Nice! What makes you interested in Foxhole? I of course will have a biased answer as I love this game and make content for it. It all depends on what you might think you like about it. DM me on discord and I can talk more about it with you to make sure it's the right game for you. Don't want you wasting your money on game you won't like :D
@@RobertLovesGames Probably the diversity of gameplay options available. Being able to jump from a relaxing night of backline logi to a big combined arms operation sounds appealing to me.

Please, bring stuff back from the frontline, 100 cargo ships in a front sea port is 50k of wasted bmats, make a trip back worth it, bring back resources for example to be processed on the backline where all the construction happens, thanks.
I've done little logistic operations like this before where I returned a lot of frontline logi trucks and flatbeds. I wish I could return more to feel a bit more useful. They need to tweak logistics a bit so there is a better logi loop system. Something like being able to breakdown items back into salvage or something. For example break down a logi truck and get 100 salvage back so 50% of its worth.
Right click mouse over person and commend option will be there. Or you can Press F1 and find them on the player list. Also when you press F1 you will see how many commends you have to give out at the top. Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any other questions! Easier for me to answer there :D
Someone needs to supply the front. I actually know a secret way to commend farm even faster but I don't share it because I don't want people just boosting themselves in rank :D
as a frontline logi you can even nunge front what to do dropping 2 truck of bmats and a crate of shovel sometimes just enough to give somebody the urge to build :DDD
I started playing foxhole because of you Robert. I blame you for my deteriorating mental health and sanity.
That's awesome to hear! And oh no! Please remember to take breaks! :D

*Foxholes so real I got PTSD in real life*
This may not be the most efficient method, but if you spawn into a front there are usually some trucks sitting around clogging things up that can be driven back for grabbing supplies.
I've done this before quite a bit! I normally don't go in with the intent of doing logi but it does just end up happening ha!
just a casual 500 flatbeds sat near a frontline
Sounds fun!
I love it! Thanks for sharing that!
blockade running in a heavy truck is fun, untill they start throwing armour and AT at you.
Another tip for aspiring frontline delivery pros: While your regular truck can fit 15 crates of supplies, you can always carry 1 crate in your own personal inventory as well, making it so that you can actually deliver 16 crates with 1 delivery trip! This definitely adds up over time :D
Great vid!
True! As someone with 1,500+ hours I still forget this one! I haven't built the muscle memory to remind myself to grab that one extra crate lol. I need to find a way to remind myself of this one!

Exactly! Well said! Thanks for sharing that!
3:29 I love that the creator of that diagram has no idea how pyramid of needs works (essentials at the bottom, because pyramids are built from the ground up)
but at least the "High priority" arrow is there...
lol! Still easy to follow in my opinion.
@@RobertLovesGames Yeah High Priority Because its on Top
Looks like they made it that way because of how many more items there are to include further down. Maybe it should've been an upside-down pyramid? Or probably some completely different kind of visual aid.
I’m getting foxhole in a week and can’t wait, you were the one who should it to me you are amazing 😎
Woo!! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or if you need help learning anything!
I got it a few days ago, Its got a learning curve, its entertaining and could possibly give you a major case of PTSD with a side order of Shell Shock.
Love to see new players in my favourite game! Join wardens!
you make too litte a inpackt its to real
@@Ben71246 Im sorry plug blueberrys, cause you insist on shelling me. LOL Upvoted, cause its cool to see people excited about the game.
The biggest tip I have is: when in doubt, ask (talk/type or both). Simply communicating in this game gets you 110% of the way there.
I also have tips for new and low-ranked players to avoid getting into unpleasant conversations from teammates. These behaviors should be avoided, especially when new or low ranked, because it'll attract the wrong kind of attention from your teammates:
A) Do not pull shirts out of bunker bases, town halls, etc. On top of taking forever to pull, it is harmful to the war effort. Instead, pull crates from seaports and depots. (Yes, Robert sometimes does this in his other videos, but I strongly do NOT recommend this if you are low ranked; consider it an "advanced technique")
B) Need a ride, and you see a truck or vehicle on a crane? Leave it alone, follow Robert's advice instead: pull a truck from a depot/seaport stockpile or build your own.
C) Need a ride, and found a fire truck? Please leave it alone, using it as a taxi greatly harms the front.
Hard agree! Love it! This is something I tell new players all the time as well.
Love these other tips as well! There are so many unwritten rules in Foxhole that being a new player is hard and sometimes vet players don't have patience to teach them or help them which is frustrating to me. Thanks for sharing these!
...fire truck?
@@NoNameAtAll2it’s to put out fires on the front. Just imagine ur house is burning in front of you and you realize your little cousin just grabbed the keys to the fire truck and took it for a spin
First few times I did logi, I did the full logi loop, fully farmed and crafted everything, just didn’t know about warehouses
Glad I don’t do that anymore, but at the same time happy I did, it gave me little more appreciation for the whole system I feel, got to learn a few extra things
Nice! I love this tip! Thanks for sharing that!
@@RobertLovesGames Do a follow up video featuring tips from the comment section... :)
Thank you!
Nice! That's awesome to hear! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help with anything!
My best tip for new players is to watch a lot of Robert's videos. Informative content :D
lol! Thank you! I appreciate you saying so and I hope these videos do help players learn something new!
Excellent vid Robert 👍Some more tips I usually give to the people riding along my logi runs:
+ Your cargo is worth more than the person's life whose guts you have to hose off the truck.
Thank you! Great tips! Thanks for sharing those!

I got it 2 days ago and I will say it’s very interesting. It’s probably my favorite game now
Trying to get logi to hard to reach / surrounded places also makes frontline logi a lot more tense (and you'll get more commends)
True! Those desperate last stand logi runs are the best when the enemy is all around you!
A) they are far away from where I am at currently and B) I've been using the refinery timer to go supply the "middle", again, strictly with the very basic Logi things so that other logi can focus on the "good goods"
I gather the scrap, refine it to bmats, shirts, grenades, rifes and ammo for them, with the occasional radio, gas mask, wrench, sandbag and shovels. using that graph but scaling the numbers way higher.
Hands down one of the best video about frontline logi. Been waiting for something like this from you. o7
Thank you so much! Really appreciate you saying that! o7
Thanks for your thoughts on this!
been taking a break this war space marines came out so yea. great videos
as always
That game looks fun! Enjoy your break! And thanks for the kind words!
The biggest tip i have is to always carry a radio and always check the map. Pesky partisans are a logi players bane so keep an eye out for them.
Yes! This is a big one! Always always have a radio! Thanks for adding that!
Aha! Another Robert video, I’ll watch it as soon as I can!
Woo!! Appreciate the support :D
Always great running into you just after I watched this video 😆
Ha nice! Good seeing you on the front today! Was a fun one! :D
_Takes down notes for potential logi runs later._
Looking forward to the back logi video.
Frontline Logi tip:
+ Don't bring expensive items unless somebody specifically asks for it.
(Expensive items are things that cost Refined Material to make)
Agreed! Stick to the basics unless a team or squad has a specific operation they want to do. Or just let them figure out the logistics part if they need to get those supplies.
As the saying goes, soldiers win battles but logistics wins wars
Agreed! Logi is king!
i started watching foxhole because of you robert. I blame you for my increasing entertainment ❤😂 great channel

I love Frontline logistics, it might be one of my favorite aspects of the game.
Agreed! I would say for me right now for this current war frontline logistics has been a lot of fun. I would bet next war I focus more on backline since I haven't done much serious backline logistics for the last 2 wars. Mainly been midline and frontline.
Like always another great video and much love for the ORKS shoutout Robert keep up all the great work you do
Thank you! And I have loved working with the ORKS this war! Great group!
@@RobertLovesGames we love having you around!
Naval frontline logistics is also fun to do. Or hot island logi. (Logi deleveries to a island thats getting attacked)
I would love to do more of this! I am never on when it's needed it seems like. I want more navy and island battles!
@@RobertLovesGames I agree. Most of those operations happen during the normal week days. And are mostly side projects. Meaning that its done outside regiments and bij solo players.
Yay,more Foxhole!Just like I asked! And so cute that you were recognised!
Woo!! Loved making this video! I need to make more logi videos because they are my favorite :D
I felt so bad I couldn't chat with the player by the garage but I was on a mission to see how fast I could do the logi run with out interruptions.
@@RobertLovesGames Have you ever considered compiling all the weapons in the game, like what Gamespot did with Ferguson?
I'm quite new to the game, but I did some frontline logi before last war ended and what I can suggest:
- DON'T BE SCARED.
Running a facilities, gathering the resources, transporting them to refine to materials and then supplying the facilities will be overwhelming for solo's and will easly cause players to "burn out".
без логистов не было бы фронта, красавчики
Agreed!

i play wardens but i still love watching your vids keep ,it up 😁
Ha! I was just warden the last 3 wars :D I try to stay as neutral as possible with my content :D
Keep fighting out there! You all are doing great!
For that last base I would’ve supplied a lot more AT tbh. A bit unfair on my behalf as I was in that fight. However, you can see their tank line South of the relic on the map and they only have a few stickies.
Agreed! There was some tanks pushing up from the south. AT in this stage of the war is also always good to bring. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
I love youre videos ❤ keep up the good work 🤩
Thank you! Appreciate the support and kind words!
LOVE YOUR VIDS
Thank you!!
On that last one I probably would have also supplied with AT weapons. Looks like a serious tank battle is going on just to the south.
I saw that as well! In this stage of the war more AT is always good as well! Good spot!
Oh no, it's the green tide.
I hope you had some good krumping
lol!
Thank you! And glad you enjoyed the quiz at the end :D
Here is the mod for the colored items. Let me know if you need help setting it up.
sentsu.itch.io/foxhole-ui-label-icons
And it really depends on how low the commonly used supply is. For example bmats, shirts, rifles, ammo, and medical equipment should always be top priority. But if you see all of those things are in decent spots then adding 1-2 crates of GL wouldn't be a terrible thing. Especially if you are planning to do multiple trips. Hope that helps!
Great vid as always, looking forward to spending unhealthy hours on logi 😂
Thank you! One of us! One of us :D
Remember to take breaks!
I got the game couple of days ago. The game have been great but I wish i could try the other stuff like being a tank gunner , using arty and navy .
Yes! I just had to wrench a flatbed last night that was blocking a lot of traffic on the front. Thanks for adding this!
Everytime he says "front line logistics" All I hear is that one drill instructor from the Simpsons saying "Front line infantry."
lol!
Please please PLEASE, look at map logi lists, they help so much
Agreed! Sometimes they can be really helpful!
bmats, bmats and more bmats. The best way to rank up as a new logi player.
Always more bmats :D Unless a bunker or base is at like 4k or 5k then that's enough :D

Would’ve been cool if people are building before players get to build them like how shipyards do them, but for ground vehicles.
That would be cool!
Only Byonets and Shirts what all 3 basses need.
lol! True!
maybe you should do a video on night time gameplay.
Each base is clearly missing Mammons! Always need Mammons!
True! Some supplies were needed first before mammons but you are correct :D
Makes me sick seeing collies drive around viper pit like they own the place but I still love you rob
i just bought the game for the logi, i was wondering, i heard people complaining about not enough people getting scrap, so is it worth it to stick with back line logi, or at least prioritise it unless the front line is collapsing?
Cause I love doing logi but I'm by myself and is really hard/doesn't look worth it to do it like that when you see regiments like 82dk with 200 tanks on a train
Thanks
BTW I speak spanish/english/Romanian 😊
Yes there are! On Colonial side it's WLL and Warden side FMAT or 27th. DM me on discord and I can send you the links to their discords!
I want to drive the train 😅
Lots of train logistics clans in the game! DM on discord if you need help finding one! They always need train drivers!
Only thing Collie Bunkers need is Bmats, Shirts and Bomas. But mostly Bomas.
lol! 500 bomas!
As today in Linn's mercy... I also would like to have a lot of ammunition lol.
here

Woo! And thank you!
*looks at a bb with 2k bmats* "ah, that looks enough"
*me staring in Frontline engineer*😢
Ha! Good enough for now. Don't want the BB getting over supplied. Once it says 1k+ then I normally bring some.
Is there any difference when doing logi in island hexes?
Absolutely. Island logi is a whole different game. I did quite a bit of it when the islands were first introduced. The main thing I did was make a ton of items when they had factories and transported the items on freighters over to the mainland to keep those seaports well supplied for frontline logi players. I may have to do an island logi video in the future.
Very interesting
Indeed!
I have a question from another video, do you have a mod for artillery explosions?
I have a mod that makes them sound different if that's what you mean. magnavox777.itch.io/super-uber-fantastical-foxhole-sound-mod

So question, if the backline is about 1 hex away from the front does backline and front logi just intertwine at that point?
Great question! I call that midline logi and I have a video on that as well. So you have the very back hexes which are backline logi, then the frontline hexes where battles are happening which is the frontline logi and then anything in between that is midline logi. Does that make sense? They all have different roles and things they should focus on.
@@RobertLovesGames Yep, thank you for answering!
I must've chosen the wrong place to make my backline solo base, 'cause the stockpiles around are so depleated i ended up having to do scrap-to-midline playing today.
Where did you make it? Solo bases can be tough. I would say in general bases are not meant to be done alone :D
Brand new player here. Tried this but all the sea ports and storage buildings have barely anything in them. idk if I'm just looking in the wrong places or something but it seems to me like we have barely anything. :/
Been eyeing this game for a while and I just got my paycheck today. Is it worth it?
Those are pretty good reasons. It’s tough to get into everything at first unless you join clan or have someone help you learn how to play.
Your Evil Brother RupertHatesGames said that logistics players are unneeded and must join the meat grind for the glory and enjoyment of the Foxhole gods.
how rude of him.
lol! If I see him on my logi streets he is getting turned into meat!
Okay so you DO pull resources from the seaport I had like 20 people telling me different things and I'm sitting there like .-.
lol!
Literally just got the game last night I hopped on for 30 min died once then turned it off. I was way to drunk to be playing. Ima try again soon
lol! Not a great game to learn to play while drunk! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions about the game or if you need help learning anything!
msupp guys are the ones who get all the commends
True lol! I never deliver msupps. I'm a bad logi player ha
How helpful or hateful is the community for new players?
95% are helpful 5% are not. DM me on discord if you get the game and I can help you find the helpful people!
only played the game for 15 mins barely even noticed anything in the quiz besides materials and guns 😭
Ha! Lots to learn!
pro tip from a warden to gobl- i mean colonials: never deliver bomastones, they are one of the worst weapons in the game :)
lol! I was delivering a bunch to Basin last night :D
I don’t know how to commend people.
Right click mouse over person and commend option will be there. Or you can Press F1 and find them on the player list. Also when you press F1 you will see how many commends you have to give out at the top. Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any other questions! Easier for me to answer there :D
@@RobertLovesGames Alt+Right click...
@@RobertLovesGames thank you for the help. I don’t use discord.

I give up, this isn't worth the time investment.
Fair enough! Certainly not for everyone!
otherwise known as "commend farming"
Someone needs to supply the front. I actually know a secret way to commend farm even faster but I don't share it because I don't want people just boosting themselves in rank :D
@@RobertLovesGames bringing bmats from the open refinery to the local logi seaport XD
Being the frontline medic which takes care of his soldiers like they are children?
as a frontline logi you can even nunge front what to do dropping 2 truck of bmats and a crate of shovel sometimes just enough to give somebody the urge to build :DDD
True! Good point! I love this! I should consider this more as well. Thanks for the tip!
