Lindsey is one of the BEST guitarists ever😃🎸Great interview👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Lindsey is an amazing guitarists. He has such an individual style that's so woven into the Fleetwood Mac music he was involved with. Yes, Mick Fleetwood had a knack for seeing the potential in others.
Excellent Interview. Love both Lindsey and Stevie & Fleetwood Mac❣️
Out of the Cradle, his solo record from 92 is a masterpiece. Went under the radar but if you have a change to listen to it, u won't regret.
Lindsay is Fabulous guitarist, songwriter and voice.
It took two guitarists to fill Lindsey's void after he was kicked out. Enough said.
And I’m so glad one of them is one of our finest from NZ’ but yeah your right’ Lindsey was an amazing edition to Fleetwood Mac he was and is a very competent guitarist and the same can be said about his vocal ability’ they were such a force to be reckoned with and their music still is relevant to this day
I listened to Rumours again last week and it struck me how much Christine McVie contributed to that album. I'm not sure she ever got the credit for the success of that album that she really deserved. That said, Lindsay's playing on Never Going Back Again has always been one of the highlights of listening to that album.
Never Going Back Again hits the soul on another level that most songs cannot hit. And Christine was the heart and blood of the band and deserves more credit than she gets.
and the songbirds are singin, like they knew the score...
I really don't understand why we so often see these "don't get enough credit" comments on YT. Lindsay and Stevie were both still the "new members" when Rumours came out and Chris was well and truly established in the eyes of those of us who were fans at the time. Her playing, writing and singing were already an incredibly important and appreciated part of FM's music and even if they hadn't been, how could anyone not appreciate the person who contributed Oh Daddy, Songbird, Don't Stop and You Make Loving Fun to the album? Regardless of Lindsay's chops as a guitar player, Christine's playing is just as important to the sound of Rumours as his was and to suggest she was underappreciated is bizarre.
Without you Lindsey, I seriously doubt Stevie would’ve made it on her own.
Love your guitar playing & arranger of music. Rock on Lindsey🔥🎸🎶
On the flipside; if Stevie doesn't join, Fleetwood Mac would not have been the band they became. Stevie was influential, not only in her song contributions, but in getting some of the best material out of Lindsey, with Second Hand News, Go Your Own Way, etc. In Fleetwood Mac's entire career, they were never better than when the five of them were together.
@@_Game0ver_ - But thank goodness Lindsey knew how to make sense out of Stevie’s writings. Even Tom Petty told her to take her ‘songs’ back to Lindsey so he could work them over.
@@jayannakelley9051 not to sell Lindsey short (without him, there is certainly no Fleetwood Mac as we know it. He is also undeniably the best musician of the group and his production contributions on Tango were invaluable) but I think you're undervaluing Stevie. Not only did she write some of the band's most well-known songs (Rhiannon, Dreams, Landslide, Silver Springs, Gold Dust Woman, Gypsy) she also went on to have the most successful solo career out of any of the other members of the group, in which she also singlehandedly wrote several hits (Leather and Lace, Edge of Seventeen, Stand Back) and which far exceeded anything Lindsey did solo-wise. And this is all coming from a massive Lindsey fan.
I❤ Fleetwood Mac.
All the eras.
I like Lindsey's explanations about the songs and his past relationship with Stevie. He's honest, but remained a gentleman instead of trashing her.
One guitar player sounded like an entire band.
It is nice that Lindsey can still speak fondly of Stevie. But Lindsey hasn't needed Fleetwood Mac since he first left the band. He's one of the all-time great Rock composers. The music he's created compares favorably with any of the big names.
Lindsey is a class act and good guy
I would love to see Lindsey being interviewd by Rick Beato, just to talk purely about the music
The song "Go Insane" in all its forms...❤❤❤
Even though the Bay area has had a lot of transplants from other parts of the country that made the bay area their home musically, we have also produced a lot of home grown talent as well. I made a list once and it is unbelievable. I have watched so many of these great artists play in local clubs when they were just starting and it has been wonderful and I feel so blessed.
I was waiting for the million dollar question lindsay are you and stevie talking or friends just wondering 🤔
See how Stevie repaid Lindsey later on!
Without Lindsey and now Christine there’s not much left
_There's nothing left._
Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac was a Rock Band (Not Lindsey 70s Pop Band) and is alumni to Detroits Grande Ballroom MC5, The Stooges, SRC,Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac ...... The Birth of Hard Rock and Punk ....
How many people know that Black magic woman was written by Peter Green era Fleetwood mac?
Lindsey’s guitar and voice are irreplaceable
Was this interview before his heart surgery?
@GooeyGluey Yes, this interview was from either 2014 or 2015. Before Lindsey's firing and his heart surgery.
Stevie really ended the story of Fleetwood Mac in a terrible way.
Release date April 28, 2015 (United States)
_We know, bud. Thanks for sharing_
@@Terp311 yeah it kind of threw me off because for a moment I thought it was new.
Accident and coincidence !
I actually liked the original Fleetwood Mac better than the Buckingham Nicks version
Green Manalishi 😩🫶
Me too, more blues and harder rock. Peter Green and Bob Welsh were great. The Rumors band were made up of despicable people that cheated on each other then toured after writing songs about all the bull shit. My local radio DJ said he couldn't understand how they would want to go out and sing about their infidelities on stage night after night. Always like Christine but the rest can go pound sand. Stevie thought she was some sort of divine witch and all knowing with her BS style.
