I've been using a pair of these for about 10 years. Fantastic subs!!!!! I paid close to $2k for each. They weigh in at 120lbs, but are easy to move around with the built in casters that allow you to just tilt the cabinet back and roll. My favorite subs from the last 30 years of DJing. I've used 18s, 15s, double 15s...these double twelve base reflex speakers are amazing. They get down low low low, they have a very controlled wave, not bloated base. You are the only person I've ever seen review them. QSC has a double 12 sub...it's "meh" compared to this. I've gotten lots of compliments on the low end characteristics of my system. I use the Parasource Powered 12 for tops....they are amazing. 60 lbs each but very easy to move aroud because they have handles on both sides and on the top. They put out a mind blowing amount of base - down to 45 hz . People are astounded to learn the cabinet is loaded with a 12 and not a 15. Also, I love the yorkville sound. It has great forward presence and the high end is gentle on your ears. It was worth the investment. I also have a set of yorkville NX10. Very innovative design. The speaker pole actually can go all the way THRU THE CABINET so you can mount more then one on a pole and point them in different directions. They can also be used on the floor as monitors. Very versatile little speaker. Fantastic midrange. Vocals, again, have a real presence here. Glad to see another person enjoying Yorkville!

Typical amperage use is 1.75 A(210VA @ 120V) while max is 3.67A (440VA @ 120V). Assuming the PSA1S would be combined to 2 x PS12P (1.6A/each), the rig draws a max of 6.87A. Still another 5A to spare for the mixer, minimum lightning (LED) and computer. All from a single 15A circuit (80% (12A) for more than 3 hrs). It is heavy though! lol Thanks for the review.

When it comes to speakers I am good all day with watts/ohms but as soon as amps/volts comes up my brain forgets how to math.

Aside from My favorites soo far, the turbosound 15 Milan’s…. My All time fave is the 15” passive speaker i made at home. 1500 watts continuous and 3000 watts max. And It cost me 1/3 of the price to make.

I'm looking at building some passive 2x12 cabs soon. DIY still has its place in the sub side of things.

@@MaxSplVideos those will sound amazing I’m sure. I almost bought two sets of these because of your video but the guy on Facebook market ghosted me after agreeing to 1800 for two. 😂 I ended up Finding two xprs15 pioneers and boy oh boy I’m not too sad. 1200 rms 15 sounds amazing. Got two of them for only 1k. Brand new. 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾 cheers to tech addictions. 😂

How do think the Yorkville PSA2S compares to this in terms of punchiness and overall performance and sound profile?

I haven't heard them myself. I have yet to hear a Yorkville subwoofer that I don't like, but I much prefer 12s and 18s over 15s so I likely would prefer the PSA1S over it.

Would you happen to be able to find out which speakers are being used in this cab? Just purchased one with a blown speaker but waiting on freight and would like the speaker here before the cab. I know the psa2s uses the eminence lab12c.This is literally the only informative video on YT about this cab. Thanx! Hope you can help me out! here!

I believe it is a Yorkville 7545 (which I think is built by Eminence). I haven't pulled the drivers out on mine so just going with the listed replacement.
