A couple years ago I ran a 10440 continuously in my titanium i3t on high until the battery flickered and died to see, not only how hot it would get, but also to see how long it would run. It didn’t feel any hotter to me than my i5r does with the Olight proprietary battery, when I run it on high. My i3t still runs fine. I carry and use it everyday at work with 10440s. By the way, it ran for 22 minutes with a 10440 PKCell battery.
The high on the i3T2 with 10440 is only 300 lumen while on the old i3T its over 500. And the low on the i3T2 with the 10440 is also 5 lumen while on the i3T its much higher. I see no improvement at all.
10440 is much brighter in the old one but it gets hot on the high mode and it voids the warranty I wouldnt do it in a titanium i3t, but the carbon fiber wrapped one handles the heat fine
@@OperationalRequirements if you ever pocket carry it while testing definitely keep it button down, light up. I used to carry it with the button up, but it almost burned a whole in my pocket when my belt turned it on without me realising. Otherwise I havent had any problems keeping a 10440 in the old i3t in my pocket every day.
10440, or aaa compatible? Yes please. Higher output than the original, and $20? Yep yep. Olight gets hate from flashlight enthusiasts but this looks like a perfect replacement for my i3t eos for a shirt pocket aaa size inspection light. Nice review man thanks for that
I love the original, and use it everyday for work.
Here is a suggestion: put links of the items in the description that will direct me to buy them.
Likewise! Thank you for the suggestion! Im excited to start my channel and appreciate any help i can get.
