Fantastic interesting video THIS 👍 beautiful oldsmobile 1955❤
I really enjoy all your shows no matter what you're creating… You're absolutely one of the nicest people in front of the camera
Nice job on the chopped 55, but I'm in agreement with the statement of the owner .......a little less radicle on the chop would be nice. The body lines in such a severe chop on such a large bodied car end up making things look disproportionately heavy on the bottom end, (unless one goes through the ordeal of sectioning the body as well). And then there's the practicality of just getting in and out of the thing. Too low, is too low....in my humble opinion.
Saw this episode before and mr russel is a genius his vision is impeccable
What ' s the word for genius? Ahead of our times , that what he is.
Ian you are a magician and definitely know what you are doing. Using old school methods shows that you have truly studied your craft. I had a 55 two-door in high school persimmon and white. I am a new subscriber as of today keep up the good work.
55 2dr ht in high school. could not drive on gravel dust you out
I have a 53 belair 2dr coupe that I'm working on. It also needs a ton of work as well. So looking at your shows are a true inspiration. Keep up the gr8 work.
Your work is top notch I don't understand why your not more known. Fb seems to shovel bad chad down my throat but we got guys like you that actually do good work and no platform pushing your content.
bad chad creeps me out. Something off about him. And Ian way better lol
I started to doubt your ability to put this car back together but you nailed it. You're fabricating skills are on another level. Thanks for sharing your content. Waiting on the next one.
quite enjoy this series, thank god no fake deadline drama, or family problems involved

Ian's gym is the workouts he gets from his most excellent restorations.💪
From all shows your NO1. Keep it coming.
Logically and methodically miracles are happening. Dreams become reality. Best channel out there.
I'm not into that style of car, but you are good at what you do with the old cars. I like those old cars in the 30's 40's and 50's... They had good metal in them those days!
Design & fabrication are spot on 👍👍👍
I see a lot of fabricators on TH-cam, and I hate it when all kinds of hot sparks hit the glass, that just messes them up. Even grinding and sparks flying on other cars.
What a build!! I can understand Bill's apprehensions, but .....
I could never work for someone like that, omg!!! Biil, wow! Man, flys and bill!!!
Amazing transformation!
It’s a joy to watch your creative mind at work another awesome car
my jackstands are painted to the car. their much smaller and far more simple. I admire your work, but it's just a promotion.
When I saw it was a four door, my first reaction was a suicide door conversion like a Continental. That would be sweet!
g'day...best custom build channel I've seen...
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
Ant seen ya'll in awhile. Always good to see your constructs!
I really enjoy your show so humble not like the other guys who are loud mouth and show offs ❤
Ian knows his * ! That guys a magician ! 👍👌
1955 Oldsmobile
He really has a craft 😎🔥💪💯🙏
Great episode. Saw it a while ago on free-to-air TV. Better then because there was no intrusive and totally unecessary music bashing away overcoming what the people had to say.
Can't people leave "good" alone without f@!@king with it?
Perfect work Ian!
Ian looks like a real Cock sucker. OOH I like him.!!!!!
I am 93 years old now but was a butt Fucking Leather Faggot all my life and now I'm known as the naked fabricator of my neiborhood which means that I work on fabricating custom cars all day long totally naked yes I work in my shop totally naked and most of the time I'm welding with a proud 13 inch hard on.
When you fitted the windshield, my first thought was; "hidden windshield wipers". ;-)
If only I was 50 years younger maybe I could build one of my concept vehicles (I think there's a bakers dozen)?
One problem with customs or hot rods, their rarely daily drivers (rain between sunken glass and new metal)?
They should provide bunny ears with those suits. ;-D
Wow!
Dude, Flies Suck! You should toss a bar of Irish Spring Soap (classic scent) in your Go-Gear. Not a big fan of it but I seen & tried the hack and it worked for me... rub the bar around wherever they are a problem, and they stay away! They seem to hate the smell, and you don't have to spray poison all over yourself ... shower with or toss a few shreadings in the laundry (Or slather up that bandana), and you may just be the one they leave alone🤙 If it doesn't work for you then you will be out a Buck Fifty or so but you'll be "Fresh and clean as a whistle" 🎶🎶🎶🤓
Gonna need new glass with the weld burns all over it
I am watching the vedio than when i go to watch your next one on the same car it gone i never see to the end of the build🙃
All of that work saving the back glass and its ruined with all of the welding spatter. 😮
ce gars la ce n'est pas un gars ordinaire c'est un artiste .....................
What happens to the water that gets down in the window area? For both front an rear. I like end result 🙂.
Just happened upon the site yesterday and he built a old school Harley plus a Kawasaki a new site for me to watch I think he’s cool
they should never doubt your ability. I have seen you solve problem others would have walked away from, shoved to the back of the shop and use it for storage of crap.
I would be happy to take that as a roller semi gloss black 351w and a 4 speed
You should always have leaf blower with you.
I applaud his efforts and his vision. However, I would NEVER have a car, classic & otherworldly, be “slammed” to the ground at all. In my opinion & experience, once someone decides to do so, they’re asking for all the problems, stress, etc, that WILL pop up once it’s done. You’re just ASKING for trouble. Within a month or two, back into the repair shop it goes. You want to ride something THAT lowered..,go on out & buy yourself a skateboard!!!
These cars are for going to shows and cruise nights.
Sparks ain't good for the glass cool build
So why not make it a 2 door with gull wing doors? Now you have a piece of art.
What if you need to change the glass later on?
Your show is cool,
But.
Whenever you weld,
You need to use a "Fire Blanket" or an old apron or welding jacket...
The splatter,
Will burn the glass.
Bill u need to relax a bit 😂😂😂😂
6:57 look at all the rust spots across the front the of the car. It hasn't aged well at all.
Not sure about the corner Dimensions but it looks as if you could just flip the back window over
I'm kinda glad the they are only doing a three inch chop. Because someone designed the car to have a field of vision so the driver can plainly see out of the car through the window. And to chop it too much would, or might present a vision loss that might hinder the driver's capacity to see what's coming down the road if he needs to perform a turn.. and correctly judge the speed of other vehicles on the road?
Tack hack
Thanks This The Great Video & Channel !
I Have a Same Car Channel too , From Finland !
Have : American Car , Vintage Car , Muscle Car , Truck , Van , Cruising ,....
#Retired4You
I like this guy .He does amazing work ! The other guy you have on u tube is a hack . tweeker or and X. Can't even say car to him their kaws. Won't say any names . but I will not watch his channel this one I will not miss!!!!!
✌🏻😊
The title is still going to say four-door
Ian now your this far , gull wing doors
How are you not destroying the glass by welding around it like that? I did this on my truck and totally destroyed the glass with spatter....
I know that somebody had a 56 Chevy two door post why aren't you guys fixing that up then I noticed a 55 station why not fix light up
I absolutely cringe when I see cutting and welding being done right next to unprotected glass
I see the old bloke's got the ANF on his T-Shirt
find a crusher and put both cars in. throw the switch.
When an anonymous dog walks up to you and drops a ball in front of you, you don’t just walk away you pick up that ball up and you throw it. what really were you thinking sir? Dear lord some people’s children…smh 🤣😉
Dab some vanilla extract behind your ears and the bugs/flies will leave you alone
Sorry id tell the customer to take his check book and project and please leave
A 1 day conversion from 4 door to a 2 door 😂
No spark paper
you do some good work, but leave the customer drama at home, it's been done to death....
He's a Wild horse no reins allowed. Why do people come to you then they don't want to do the things you suggest?
he is the last ,not the first to do this..
50-70's cars were when cars had style and imagination today they are all blue prints of each other no body lines they all look alike you can't tell the difference between a ford car or a Chevy Back in the day you could every year every car had it's own personality and design they have lost the best parts about a car it's ashame, I don't know why folks buy them today other then necessity they are all junk and cost half a fortune to fix.
Remember bill you were going to sell the car
But on the inside its still a rust bucket..
As we all know, a man wears a hat. Any chopping need to deal with that fact. You need your head, and a hat to fit in it.
I think one you guys will wake up and say What have we done, no more original cars left , some times you have to say enough is enough
I'm not knocking these truly talented people but it time to stop ,
Just my opinion 👍🏻
No entiendo bien ingles
Might be simpler just to build a car from scratch. Putting that glass below the body line is not something I like to see.
I would have turned it into a 2 door post. Left the roof alone. Spraying primer over surface rust...lazy as hell
Great conversion. (
Fun watch but... it's pure junk at best. Put a thick paint job on it, park it in the dark, use it for 2 years until its too ugly to drive
Los menores de edad no pueden tomar bebidas de adultos
I enjoying the videos, but talking with people, we are not ignorance doesn't work.
Hope your got a lot of bog😢😢😢😢😢
The back story is BS you sure it’s just the back story ??
the back story is complete BS
No menores de edad yo nomas quiero seguir cotorrear yo también tengo hijos y no me gustaría que los vieran con malos hojos
I haven't watched this yet but I can just imagine how this clown will screw up another beautiful automobile!
Ian what can you do about the music , terrible.
Sorry I don't watch anything with Ian cause his wife took over videoing. Not about her, it's about Ian
You talk like people are ignorant. I don't like it. Wouldn't promote it.
The kid has zero experience. ..get rid of him before he causes a bigger problem
Sorry Ian we are just to old for this, 35 years in auto body trade. Get someone younger.
Don't call yourself a sheet metal fabricator no English wheel no metal stretcher or stringer or power hammer good custom ideas but shoddy body work and poor welding only good for yard art
Show your projects with all the goods and perfection?
Your a dumbass uneducated fool
He has those at his shop, he's working with even less than usual at another guy's garage
And he's still better than 90% of the other California builders, most of whom don't know what an English wheel even is...
@@matarapaul I'm not a sheet metal worker or fabricator buy i know what one is
You could have got scrap value out of it men's at all them damn four doors are worth is scrap
When we were teenagers we would cut the top off of a car and just call it an air buggy
Turn it into a ragtop and forget about it.
ill tell you what all that glass is fucked now slag burns all over it fast isnt always good
