Was I the only one who noticed that all AI Pokémon were also Pokémon that could be legally level 10? Single stage mons, stone evolutions, happiness evolutions, Porygon2 (trade with UpGrade), etc.
@@omegamanGXE It stands for "Little Cup" It's a mode where only baby pokemon and pokemon that can evolve but haven't evolved are allowed to battle. Dragon Rage was banned because many of those Pokemon don't have 40 HP at those levels or they have HP levels that would result in them being KO'd by 2 Dragon Rage moves in a row.
In order to have Dragon rage on your Pokémon (Lapras, Aerodactyl, Arcanine) you have to tranfer them from R/B/Y. But how do you get these Pokémon at a low level in these games where you can't breed? I imagine you used the mew Glitch in order to have these Pokémon at level 7
Antonio Brunetti Breeding was introduced in generation 2 and all 3 Pokemon are available in this game. The Mew glitch was only possible in Generation 1.
Aerodactyl has access to Ancient Power but it doesn't need it for Level 10 in the battle tower. All rock type moves were physical in Gen 2. This is playing it smart. Movesets and "sets" are not required for the in game AI of the battle tower. The rewards are always 5 random vitamins that you can buy in Goldenrod City or Celedon City. Why bother?
@@xyzzy-dv6te Yeah, in a way. The lack of a Physical/Special moves split is more of a problem than bad movesets. Water moves are all special, so are Dark type moves so Waterfall and Crunch can't be used on a Gyarados or a Feraligatr. Same applies for Ice, Fire and Thunderpunch. I had a Marowak with bad moves in the level 60 and 100 level battle tower and still cleared, while only using 2 moves. There's rom hacks out there that put the split in and it helps tremendously while still keeping the original Gen 2 moves in.
The irony is that my intended purpose for the brightpowder worked but for the wrong Pokemon. I had it ready for Jolteon's thunderbolt. Lapras using thunderbolt was unexpected.

@ Level10 , Dragon Rage is OP move.
@ Level 100, Dragon Rage is shittiest move ever.
That was great! 🤣
In battle tower, the smallest lvl, the hardest challenge... 100 was the easiest to conquer im my experience.
True, That's my experience also. Pokemon in Level 100 are not hard to beat.
Wow! That's how to beat the cheating trainers in the battle tower! Thanks for this cool step!
I think it’s the hardest tower in all pokemon games
this was smart i remember, dragon rage and sonic boom was banned from Stadium 2 LC, nice video.
What’s LC

@@R-1988 interesting, thanks
Brilliant. Never would've thought to do this.

@@R-1988 i made a wrong thought, probably you just bred them in Crystal, sent to the old games and retake with Dragon rage

That's exactly what I did.

Lapras Is A Champ. She Survived A Thunderbolt & Rock Smash.
Although quite boring,it's the smartest and most efficient way to 'conquer' the battle tower. Kudos bro.
You know gen 2 movesets are bad when aerodactyl has no rock move
EDIT: Fun fact: dragon rage is banned in LC on smogon

Goddamn. Even Buena's better than that! Rare Candy every 3 days, huzzah!
Why couldn't they make the prizes like a freakin' Psych Up TM or something?!
Or the GS Ball. It's tedious but Psych Up can be passed on through breeding which bypasses the otherwise absurd way of getting it normally.
do berries regenerate in the battle tower?
Yes. If you use a berry during a battle, it can be used again during the next battle.
Resume of the video...... DRAGON RAGE in every battle. 😂👌
Dragondese nuts across yo face
Btw what items are they holding? Thank you, Sir.
Aerodactyl: Scope Lens
Arcanine: Quick Claw
Lapras: Bright Powder
Can't believe they didn't think to ban it!

I wish it could work with seismic toss
This is brilliant ha ha ha ah
Only dragon rage? Boring, thumbs down..

That's fine but this was clearly stated in the video's description :(
Watch out, we've got a hardass here.
What do you expect? Targeting Move + OHKO? At least you can bypass a Wobbuffet's Mirror Coat that way...
