  • Visible Wireless is a prepaid wireless cellular service that is owned by Verizon. Back in 2020 and 2021, I tested out Visible Wireless. Although it did not work for me back in 2020 I decided to revisit Visible Wireless in 2021 and I continued to keep using Visible Wireless since 2022. Visible made some changes to their plans and in this video I'm going to review their base plan, $30 per month with unlimited data, talk and text.

    I just switched to Visible a little bit ago and have no complaints so far, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy switching was. Visible basically did all the work for me and I even got to keep my old number.

    Visible plus is totally worth it if you live in an area covered by Verizon’s c band or UW unlimited data and 4K

      @@urwifesmacho777 I just paid for the Visible+ service today. Took about an hour and a half to set-it up with the help of the chat, multiple esim installations, restarts, etc. Speeds are better than the basic plan, but nowhere near the amazing 5G GW advertised. I’m getting speeds between 30 to under 200 mgps.

      Hi Pablo. Does your phone display the 5G UW icon when you were getting speeds between 30 to under 200 mbps?

      Hi Hassan-nb2uc. Thanks for the comment. I looked up at the specs for your xaomi mi 11x and it does not use the LTE/5G network bands that Visible/Verizon uses. Visible would usually ask you to enter your imei to check the compatibility and it's most likely they will say the phone is not compatible. You can use the site below to see if your phone will work with other carriers.

    • @TechThatDoesntByte
      @TechThatDoesntByte  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello InterwebUser-ps7ju. Thanks for the comment! Technically there are no data caps although the speeds are deprioritized if there is heavy traffic on the tower that you're connected to. The visible plus plan gives you 50GB of premium data(speeds might be slower after you use up 50gb) and ultrawide band access.

    I had it for 2 weeks. I would not recommend. The service is not good in my metropolitan area. It may be ok, for someone who may just need a simple plan not that much streaming, but that’s it !

    The main question for me is the $30 dollar unlimited plan. The data is it unlimited? Not after 30 gigs used the speed drops to being in usable? I do a lot of downloading and streaming Pluto tv and music so I go thru 30 gigs in less than a week.

    Speed seems kind of slow.

    • @TechThatDoesntByte
      @TechThatDoesntByte  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hi Pablo. Thanks for the comment! For 5G speeds they are slow. It might not be sufficient to a lot of people that need faster data speeds for their tasks. I think this plan is a viable choice if people are okay with sacrificing some data speed but it's still usable for doing things non heavy tasks such as web browsing, checking emails, etc... Visible + would be a better option for those that want premium data.
