Nice to see you back at it again Robert! I still use my 200A-hp that I got from you at Hamcation in 2011 daily. The antenna is working great- but the shunt coil finally broke after about 100K miles due to flexing. Love that new mounting base design.

These are very nice antennas, however if you’ve handled and operated a Scorpion SA680 antenna, you’ll find it’s even heavier duty. They’re tough to beat.
The Tarheel antennas all look really well-built. But, I'm a bit confused about the models, if they are legal limit why the large size differences? Does it relate to performance, or does bigger just looks better? 🙂
I think it does relate to performance on some of the lower bands like 40, 80, 160
IT WOULD BE NICE IF THIS COULD BE A VERTICAL BASE ANTENNA ON A ROOF. MIGHT NEED GROUND PLANE RADIALS .?

@@HamRadio2 I have a buddy that has a 200a on his 4 story roof in a northern city, It works fantastically.
Would have loved to see the controller of the antennas.
It is just a toggle button with up and down actions. But I am working to install one of these in my truck soon, and can show a different type of controller there.

WB0W is making and selling Tarheel antenna's He sold the company and now he is wanting the company back without having to buy it back

Knowing WB0W who he sold the business to. I wouldn't trust a word he says. With him coming back and selling an antenna design he sold away. Just something I see as not being right.
