Thank you 🩷 I wasn't sure whether to post my Daughters room as it's not minimal... but then decided it does show how we compromise which a lot of my subscribers have to do when living with non minimalists 🙂
Thank you for this tour! The thing you did with the kettle is an absolutely brilliant idea. Your videos helped me start to declutter my flat. I was having a mental block before and was unable to part with some items but after seeing your videos, I saw things with a new eye and wondered why I had kept all these things for so long when it was absolutely useless. I still have a long was to go but I’ve never felt more free. You really made me realise you don’t need a lot to have a great life.
That message makes me so happy, thank you so much for taking the time to comment 💕 I wish you luck with decluttering your items, and I hope the results give you a calming and peaceful home with more time for the things you enjoy in life 🩷
I know as a regular viewer you've seen the room tours but I hope you enjoy seeing the few changes I've made and it helps you understand the layout of the home a little better. I hope work goes okay 🩷
New subscriber here. Thank you for sharing. From one minimalist to another, your home is peaceful, calm and looks indeed a happy place. Love from Western Australia.
Of course 🙂 I have a little shed outside and I store 2 boxes of Xmas decorations in there, 1 box of DIY equipment, a lawn mower, my Daughters scooter etc. It's absolutely dire in there, dark, mouldy, asbestos roof and FULL of spiders so I try and go in there as little as possible! It is due a clean out so when I do that I will post a video 👍🏻 I also have an attic but all I store up there are 2 small suitcases which are empty
I like your new bed setup. I bought myself an indoor outdoor picnic rug as the base for my floor bed because I can fold that up, I also use a thin quilted mattress topper as well as a single quilt for my mattress. I have to say I'm enjoying sleeping on the floor again. I was very inspired by your first bed setup video 😁
That's great that you gave it a go and loved it! My back is so much better without a mattress. I love this new bed for aesthetics etc but I do miss being able to pack it away 🙄 I'm planning a review on my new bed in the next couple of videos if you're interested to hear about the pros and cons to it 🩷
We all have different tastes..i think it is too minimal.. a couple of large indoor plants would 'warm the living room up'. They would complement the colour of the lovely rug 😊❤
A home you have made the most of.. its very tidy & minimal & easy to manage. I just wouldn't go to the extreme of boiling the jug in a draw with the power cord extension thing, never seen that before... and having such a low bed thats very close to that carpet breathing it in, is no more minimal than a normal height bed... apart from those 2 things for what you have to work with looks great.
Thank you. That's what I want out of a home, peaceful and easy to clean so we can spend our time doing the things we love, not cleaning and managing inventory 🙂
Great tour of your home. I notice many non-USA homes have a central hallway with rooms with doors off the hallway. So interesting. I’ve never lived in a home like that in my 66 years. Bedrooms and bathrooms tend to be the only rooms with doors here. Sometimes an older home will have a door to the kitchen, but frequently that has been removed. I wonder if our more open doorways have to do with less problems heating our homes?
That's really interesting, I didn't know that. A lot of new UK homes have open plan but the older ones tend to be similar to mine. Mine is slightly different being a flat in that I have a square hall, a lot of UK homes have a hall more like a passageway with doors coming off that to each room
I'm SO enjoying your videos...wishing you had more of them...haha! I'd love to know or see a video about how you actually got down to the items you now have in your home. Were you at one time like everyone else with a whole lot more? Why did you become this minimal? I'm fairly minimal, but would love to achieve what you have....for more simplicity in life....but I'm unsure how I could get there!
Thank you 😊 I'm glad you're enjoying them. It's a new channel so I only have a few but I plan lots more! I will definitely do a how I got here at 1 point as I definitely wasn't always minimal lol. It has taken a long time with lots of learning curves and set backs. Please consider subscribing if you haven't done so already so you don't miss out on the alerts as I'm not routine when I publish them 🩷👍🏻 Good luck with your journey 😊💪

I found it odd when I moved in as I'd never lived in a flat before. All my previous homes have been houses where you get a long thin hallway leading from the front door to the back of the house (normally the kitchen) with doors leading off either side to each room. I like this now though as it's like another little room 😊
Thanks for sharing! Absolutely beautiful and truly a happy place. Personally, I couldn't handle a bed so close to the floor, but if I was more flexible and my shadow was smaller 😉, I'm sure I would be able to.
After this video I've went around the house to see what I don't need . I've rounded up few things that will be taken to the community centre tomorrow. Xx
What a cozy home!!! I love it!!! 😍😍😍 I move things around all the time, to me is a way of giving my apartment a refresh. The bed with the new platform looks really good! 😍😍😍 has you found the bed to be a lot more comfortable with the platform and tatami under it? Thanks for sharing 🩷

I have way more stuff than you , and I don’t consider myself minimalist. But I notice lots of things you have I don’t have. I don’t have full length mirror, I use the one in bathroom or the oven glass door as a mirror 😂. I don’t have pegs as I use drying racks indoors, I don’t have fan, I shut the certain to block direct sunlight will cool down the room then open the window when the sun moved to the other direction 😅
The mirror in the hall is still up as when I took it down it was faded all around it and it now needs re painting 🤣 and the one in my room I'd have to fill in the holes I made in the wardrobe door and I'm too lazy 😆 I prefer not to have a drying rack for clothes as my lines and pegs fit in a small carrier bag, so much more convenient for me for storing and possible relocation due to renting than a clothes rack. The fans are 100 % essential at the min as my downstairs neighbours smoke and the cigarette smell is leaking into my flat and I hate the thought of us breathing that crap in so I have air purifying fans for that reason. I love that all minimalists/non minimalists class different things as essential. I love finding out what other people have that I don't and vice versa 🩷
