    Another suggestion I have is that she should stop providing all the financial support of paying the bills and taxes.     Why the heck is she the only one of four in the household? What she needs to do is shop for the groceries herself and not give the money to her mom. That way the meals can be planned with the purchases. There's no reason they cannot eat what she buys. They all need to get off their butts and find work too and that way that can all have a say in the purchases. When I was a child we ate whatever my mom bought and made; no ifs, ands or buts. No extras at all especially with only the one salary. 😡😡😡

    How can they charge that much on a credit card? Even if myself buy something more than $1K on my credit card then the bank will send me an alarm to make sure that the transaction is really me doing it. 🤣🤣🤣

      Before, there were no POS machines for authorization, and no Apps
      and some hotels didn't even call for authorization, they just "ironed" the card onto the slip and sent it to the cardholder
      as it went through the mail and was processed manually, it could take 20-30 days before the charge appeared on the credit card charge

      So my father was in the USA on a business trip and at check-out he forgot to sign the $3000 invoice slip
      the hotel sent the slip to Amex and they charged it without a signature

    I put up with the same crap from my brother, bailing him out endlessly. Finally last October he was evicted for not paying rent for the last 22 months. Funny, he always have money for taxis to the beer store, beer and grass. Last I saw of him was him sitting on a pile of his furniture on the front lawn, with him screeching for me to rent him a truck. Last I heard, he tried living in an uninsulated van in the winter, (-18-20C) and lost both feet to frost bite. At some point you just have to give up on people.

    They have obviously mixed up the currency exchange rate. 10,000 yen is worth about $67. The dead giveaway is "Let's meet by the station." What station is that? Mary doesn't know where she moved to. That's a very Japanese thing to say. Was that supposed to be the AMTRAK station? The Greyhound bus station? Miami Metrorail has 23 stations.
