My dad once told me that because my golden brothers cut him off,he was cutting me out too. Said there was no point if my brothers wanted nothing to do with him. I told him, that if the only way I can have him in my life is me convincing my brothers, than great. I wasn’t going to have him in my life. It’s been over 15 years and no regrets.

My father took me to the military recruiters the day after I graduated.
When the Army recruiter asked me what type of MOS (job) I wanted, my father told him whatever gets him out of here today.
That was in 1976, I have not spoken or seen my parents since then, or the four golden siblings.

@@TC-cd5sm life in what used to be my family. I was 16, my 2nd brother was 18 when he graduated from HS.
By the time my 4th brother was in 9th grade they had shed five of us and our father was making a lot more money.
So they did 4th brother a favor and shipped him off to military school.
I went complete no contact once he left the recruiting station. I even sent the standard I have arrived in Basic Training with return address to my best friend.

Frightening the child and yelling and throwing things are not acceptable behavior. The young child should not have been set outside with the suitcases or boxes unless a responsible adult was present. The child was too young to be kicked out alone like that! Besides which, if you want to say landlords do that all the time, the mother was paying rent to cover the mortgage, so it was not a matter of not paying the rent. I highly doubt a landlord would place a young child outdoors (after being yelled at and traumatized!) without the parent or guardian being there!

It's not even a period, though. Sure, that's the character, but it's punctuation, a way to alter enunciation and not meant to be pronounced. What's weird, though, is that it's a recent thing. Until a couple days ago, I never heard any of these AIs trying to pronounce actual punctuation. Before, they were actually able to pause at the period aka dot as is proper at sentence end. Maybe they're finally rebelling at having to work for free.

Story 1 is quite harsh, but the OP is a sweet woman. That family was really toxic. The narcissistic sister, traumatizing A CHILD, and the parents? they are worse, doing NOTHING to protect their granddaughter (and the OP who is ALSO their daughter) and they didn't realize that they depended on the OP but no, they let their golden child trample over their other child and their grand child.
And they expected that the OP pay the mortgage after her daughter was traumatized. How they dare...

Maybe you should also think about getting yourself new parents that really love you care about you and that knows that everyone is equal to you and that you are equal to everyone else no one is better than you and you aren't better than everyone else cause I truly believe that you are equal to your siblings and they are equal to you no one is better than you you are not better than your siblings I this to my two sons all the time and I tell both of my sons that I love them equally I don't love my oldest son my than my youngest son I love both of my sons equally.

You were there for your family, even helping out with something as huge as paying their mortgage, only to be kicked out with your daughter and then have them take your sister’s side. It’s totally understandable that you’d feel betrayed and stop supporting them financially after that. Family should be about mutual respect and support, not taking advantage of one person’s kindness.
