Joe, I want you to know you have quickly become my favorite youtuber. You dont get political, you dont get into religion or current events. I work 50+ hours a week, and I make sure to make time to watch your videos when I sit down to eat dinner with a beer. You never have drama and I can recommend you to any age group and I love the information about trees and wildlife. Keep up the great work Joe, I will be buying your merch to hope it helps! Hopefully one day I can come camp, maybe a subscriber meetup! And PS, Always happy to see scout!
Scout's thinkin', you couldn't heat my stew up a little bit? ;) Havin' a good time watching you havin' a good time. Very nice of Martin, can't wait for an overnighter.
Must have missed this one? I keep finding new videos here and there? Maybe i'm not paying attention?!. Love your work... great escape from anxieties, best of wishes, fan forever, peace!
As the video was playing I went to the Hidden woodsman and bought this pack. He only had the 15L available, but if its good enough for Joe it's good enough for me! Yeah Buddy!
Joe, Thanks for making a family friendly channel were we know it's safe to send children. I figure since kids like computers so much, they can watch your channel during the winter. Then in the summer we can hit the woods ourselves and put to use some of the skills you show us. Like making fire from a fire stick, making a shelter, and eating a good meal. Not to mention hiking and fishing. Thanks again Joe for you awesome approach to an Outdoor Channel that is safe to watch with children! Have a Great Day Joe!
Scout is such a hoot with his obsession with sticks. I love the videos and honestly cut cable because I enjoy these kind of videos way more then any of the crap that was on TV. Keep up the good work!
Love the videos, Joe! You should try the Burt's Bees hand salve. Saved my hands while handling cardboard for 8 hours a day when I was younger. Keep up the great work.
So sweet of Martin and this looks like you could return many times doing all new strategies each time. How fun is that? I love that I can show this to anyone & not worry about language 99% of the time. That’s so unusual today! It means a grammar school kid could watch this with his grandpa and neither would worry about anything but the content of Bushcraft. Just Super!
Aww...poor Scooter! Carried that stick all the way to the car and he didn't even get to keep it. "I'm a loose cannon" gets me every time now. Keep it up, Joe!
I'm a carpenter I split my fingers all the time crazy glue dude I'm telling you works so good instantly takes the pain away and stops it from splitting even more it will go away in a couple days sounds crazy but it works
"He's gonna lay down next to it. Guaranteed he lays down next to it." The look on your face I laughed out loud! Good to see you found new places to explore. Great video.
Bam Son! What good generosity in people. Martin letting you use his land to me was like a gift from his heart,a good person. You know that was kinda ridiculous when some people had negative comments about you & Scot teaching Griff some bush craft skills. What could be more important then a father & son learning bush craft together. You are a good teacher showing Griff bush craft but also showing the small things to do right so he doesn't injury himself. Better to learn from experienced people instead of going on their own getting injured from wrong technique. High fives to you Joe being such a good teacher. Does Martin's land have free flowing water available? Thanks for your hard work making all these videos that I enjoy a lot.
I enjoyed the last video with Griff and Scott and love the way change your content up, I have 3 kids myself so the last video was a great surprise for me, not sure how anybody can say something negative, but that the internet, stay awesome Joe, thanks for sharing your life with us
Hey Joe, It is awesome to see the videos of you teaching children bushcrafting (Griff and Emerald). I plan to enjoy watching your videos again with my son when he is old enough to understand. Your videos give me ideas on how to keep it fun. Keep up the awesome work.
I cant tell you how many times your videos have taught me something that I didn't know, calmed me down, and made me get out in the bush. I hope you never stop with the great videos. I even set up my pack like yours but I only use hammock and tarp. I hope to one day before I die to move up north into Canada, and build my own cabin and live off the land. And you may want to consider a hard hat when chopping down trees. don't want to get hit in the head with a widow maker! I can tell you its worth it, I've had limbs fall on me and thanks to my hard hat all I had was a sore neck. imagine if I didn't! love you and respect you joe, your my inspiration! safe travels!
Man, Joe’s having fun in the woods in a new location and people hate on it. “Joe did this, waaah, Joe didn’t do this, blah blah blah.” People, don’t forget that Joe is a real person. And that the video that you thought was “boring”, “same old”, or whatever...that video helped answer some questions or was entertaining for other people who are learning camping and survival skills. Also, I really admire Joe’s dedication to creating his own career. He could have taken some standard job long ago, like a lot of his viewers, I would guess. But he’s doing what he’s doing, and sharing his experiences and knowledge with the whole world. A lot of people who love camping but work standard jobs wish they could go camping half as much as Joe, and most people could not handle the level of internet criticism he receives. Joe, thanks for posting the videos. Ignore the critics. They’re missing the point.
I keep telling people about him and his variety of educational and humorous videos, and sharing them to my facebook wall ... JOE, THANK-YOU JUST FOR BEING YOU AND ALL THESE THINGS YOU DO just naturally and amazingly well
I stumbled a crossed your channel just yesterday morning, and i absolutely love it. You filled my Saturday and Sunday with tons of things to watch! Great content. and a new sub for life!
Got the notification when this was uploaded and was soooo happy! I always enjoy your awesome content! especially on days when I'm unable to be in the great outdoors!
Split Fingers? Happens to me every winter. Try liquid band aid. Comes in a vial with a paintbrush. It will seal the crack, stop that annoying pain and speed the healing. Good luck and keep up the awesome content!
I'm probably not your average subscriber, whereas I am not knowledgeable in the outdoor survivor life. I love your channel because it inspires me to explore the outdoors more with my husband and 15 year old daughter who still wants to spend time with us. Lol So thank you for showing us how to explore. Lots of love to your beautiful wife and daughter.💖
Great video ! I am very happy for you that you have some new land to explore and bushcraft ! Enjoyed watching you and your awesome buddy Scout who is a lot fun watching play with those big tree branches ha ha ! I can see you you take good care of him too ! Much success with the New Year ! Love you channel !
just imagine walking through the forest and out over nowhere you hear someone talking so you look around and then you see Joe just talking to himself about an axe I would be out of there so quick
Can't wait for the Shawn collaboration very fun video, loved the last one as well. Super neat watching you not only show you knowledge but share it with a younger generation. Can't wait to see that knife, I'll start aving up now!
Hey Joe! I found Adventure Sworn knives through your videos. They are so fine for Bushcraft projects. This afternoon, I have been using the 'Mountaineer' model to work on my (first ever attempt at a) Kuksa cup/soup bowl. I am 73 and I never would have gotten back into this woodcraft if it were not for guys like you. AdventureSworn made a wonderful 'Guide' model for me: it is patterned on the classic 'Nessmuk' woodcraft knife and I have wanted a copy for so-ooo long! Cody responded to me and offered suggestions that made this a knife I can use and use...and then pass on to family members who MIGHT NOT initially understand how to care for fine carbon steel (also available). Maybe I am in my SECOND CHILDHOOD, but I think 'AdventureSworn' is an awesome name for a firm offering knives that live up to a high standard for using/passing-on knives. I would like to think that my family was an AdventureSworn type of family that was 'grounded in the forest!' So...I am living in an Independent Seniors Community far from family forest lands with a wonderful water source.
Absolutely love your videos. Been watching for a long time, never commented. My two boys and I love camping and hiking, and you and my self reliance are my two top favorites! Thank you for all of your videos!
I use "O'Keefes Working Hands Hand Cream" to keep my fingers from spiting it works really well when working with paracord or during the cold dry winters.

Joe I just want to personally say keep doing what you are doing!!! You are an awesome role model and just an overall real person. Glad you do you and have fun doing it while entertaining thousands. Much love brother.
I must say that I love your videos. They are entertaining and I learn a lot from them. I have to comment on something that irritates me in regard to Crown land. I think there is way too much Crown Land in Ontario that is land locked by private land owners who do not allow the public to enter land that we all should have access to. What do you think about this? Joe, I want you to know you have quickly become my favorite youtuber. You dont get political, you dont get into religion or current events. Who else gladly watches all the ads in full so Joe can get paid? Great work buddy!!
Patrick Dereniwski there weren’t any?
HaysieBoy I've had a few within the first 15 minutes. that's weird you didn't get any.
Patrick Dereniwski... i like most of the ads too
Me. I'll use his sponsors at any chance.
He gets paid if you skip the ads as well... As long as you don't use Adblocker, he gets the money...
As the video was playing I went to the Hidden woodsman and bought this pack. He only had the 15L available, but if its good enough for Joe it's good enough for me! Yeah Buddy!
Good to see both of you having fun. Props to Martin. Him letting you use the land is a reflection what type of man you are, someone to be trusted.

Joe get Scout a vest to wear out in the snow for insulation. That looks like an awesome forest for future videos.
Super glue. Use to get splits like that when I was in construction. Put a couple drop on it. Push it together. Works great gone in a couple of days.
man i miss scout, so cute when he brought the log back to camp
If you ever decide to travel to the States, you have a place to film and stay in NC my friend. Cheers and keep up the great videos!

Joe Rob, one of the only guys on TH-cam who can say, Legit Bush, and get away with it.
Another really good video well done Joe ;)

that sounds fun!
Your face when you kept sinking in the snow haha, priceless
I suggest just packing some sandwiches and exploring/marking as many cool locations across the terrain as you can.
Thanks Joe good recon looking forward to the next overnight! Just ordered a BAMSON XL!
What a great thumbnail!!!! Love for scouttt
Haha! Scout and his blankets and sticks :) You are such a good dad to him Rob. Another great video.
What happened to the raised shelter you and your friend built by that pond where you guys wanted to do the tutorials and survival lessons for people
Absolutely love your videos. Been watching for a long time, never commented. My two boys and I love camping and hiking, and you and my self reliance are my two top favorites! Thank you for all of your videos!
What an awesome video. Happy you have a place to play. I am a big fan, very happy for you an your family. Keep up the great work!
I use "O'Keefes Working Hands Hand Cream" to keep my fingers from spiting it works really well when working with paracord or during the cold dry winters.
I just subbed and im not disappointed
hahaha. One of the funniest videos you've had man! Cracking me up. Scout off the mat, the one chop tree... its all hilarious!
dude, for your thumb cracks, push the split closed and super glue, I ve had both thumbs split and the glue works better than anything. Thrifty
Nice land your friend is nice. Scout is a character, he needs a little dog coat. Fun video to relax me before bed.
For your cracked finger tips try a product from O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream comes in a green container Canadian Tire.... love u shows ... great job
I second this. My fingers do the same thing in the winter. Two days of using this stuff and they're pretty much healed.
also "Bag Balm"
Another trick that works is to lather your hands with vasoline or petroleum jelly and put tight fitting rubber gloves on. Do this before bed and sleep all night. Wake up take the gloves off and wash up. I know it sounds weird but it does work very well....
This stuff is the best yet!
Swedish army skin lotion would do the trick in no time.
The best parts of Joe's videos include Scout, shelter making, steak, gear and fire making! All the videos need is a scout puppy!
How do you make dehydrated chili maybe you should show us that
Ryan Thompson he has a video showing his dehydrator. You would need one of those.
It would be nice if there was legislation that stated that land owners who own land backing onto crown land had to allow public access through their land to the Crown land.
Thanks for the mention Joe, permanent camp is a great idea! Its nice to have the opportunity to develop a camp over time :)
