I have yet to fly Viva, but Volaris cost me alot of extra money in hotel expenses due to cancelled flights at the last minute as well as midnight taxis in dangerous cities. . Sometimes cheap is expensive
@thisjalife Thank you . I flew Volaris from the border in Ciudad Juarez to Mexico City and return. First they changed the flight time from the afternoon to the middle of the night and finally cancelled it. Coming back the same. All the hotels in town were full because of an event. I finally had to spend way over the normal amount for a room . I love Mexico but its border towns are not places that are good to roam around in the middle of the night alone Of course, at that time public transportation stops running so you must spend for taxis, etc. These budget airlines don't care much about customers. ( That is true everywhere in the world, it seems ) . You are lucky when everything turns out right. I contrast my experience with Volaris to what would happen when other airlines decide to cancel flights . At least on Air Serbia, they put me up in a good hotel, sent a driver to take me there and paid for my meals. I didn't expect this from Volaris but a reason to keep cancelling when we already go to the airport would have been nice!
@RobertDAvanzo-rk3ew thanks for sharing! Customer service is always rough with low cost carriers, which is often why I avoid them, but I wish it was not the case!! I’m glad you were physically ok even if the experience sucked.
I actually had a good experience with no delays and the staff was even super helpful for the dads with baby triplets! Maybe it helped that my expectations were low and prepped my own snacks and drinks accordingly?
Hey, I will be using CBX for my TJ flight to Mexico City, w Viva Aerobús. Were there viva aerobús employees at the checkin counter in CBX? I’m traveling with my dog and I can’t get my boarding pass till I show him to the check in counter but idk if there is a viva aerobús check in counter in CBX. Bc we need our boarding pass to cross CBX right?
Yes you do need a boarding pass and there were! I didn’t pay too much attention because I already had my pass but there were definitely people lined up at Viva for their passes! Did I cut that out at the start of the video?
I’m going to use CBX and fly viva aerobús in May to Cancun
That’s what I just did! Were you worried about it at all?

Thanks for the video. There are lot of negative reviews for viva aerobus. Can you share your experience for flight? Were there any delays?
