About 20 years ago, after a long time, my family visited some of our relatives. They had many kids. I knew 5 elders cousins, and they introduced me 2 younger ones. A few years later, they all visited us, but there were only 6 kids. I asked about the youngest. Then things turned weird. They asked back, who? I told I were introduced 2 kids. I remembered their names, their face, and talked to them for a while. Everyone (included my family) said there was 1 kid only, and that because I had false memory. They even showed some photos. I lost the debate. Years passed, and I slowly accepted the fact. But deep inside I still trust my memory. No photo, no paper, no one knows him, then how his name, his face could get into my mind? True story.
Its not that creepy, not that strange, and you must be young. We make mistakes. You could be partially right and maybe there was a friend there that day which is why they said there was only 1 kid, and why all if them insist on it. Its not that deep. Disney channel just had a special called hall of mirrors where the one girl who was the host starred in a mirror and said mirror mirror about a month ago. On top of that descendants one of the newer movies made by disney on the channel the main song says mirror mirror as well clearly referencing the whole thing . People gotta stop acting like it's just misremembering stuff .
So I was watching old Disney princess movies and I always remember saying "true loves kiss" but apparently now its "first loves kiss"? Is it just more or does anyone else remember it always being true loves kiss
to anyone who remembers 'Luke I am your farther' blame the Simpsons Bleeding Gums Murphy episode, that came to mind for me as soon as I watched the original Star Wars movie and saw that it was "No, I am your father" this is probably an example of misattribution.
Ok guys the weirdest thing just happened to me. So does anyone else remember pikachu having black on the end of his tail or even some brown lines. When I was 7 years old, I was given a pikachu toy for my birthday; I distinctively remember it having these coloured marks on its tail. So when I was doing some research today on the mandela effect, I thought of the pikachu doll and I went to go get it because I definitely remember it having those marks. There I went to the place I securely had it for years and it was just gone... I asked my parents and siblings if they had moved it and they said they hadn’t. We have no pets either that could’ve taken it; I knew straight away something was seriously wrong. I know all of you remember this feature of pikachu too. I truly believe that this theory is real and scary and there is something out there, above us in all aspects that we will never know about. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!
There’s a few movies that mocks the monopoly man using a monocle. Videos that down play this effect and try to make us look crazy 😜, are in on whatever is going on. Us real humans must stick together.
Once I watched like quick look at a scene in a movie just to see the mermaid but, I saw her as a Life action version of Ariel then later when I actually watched the movie the mermaid looked nothing like Ariel
There's a portal effect too. If you leave a room and enter a very different one, you are much less likely to remember things you were thinking of before.
Have you been reading the book: "why we make mistakes" the majority of the topics you are uploading lately are so related to that book! Keep up the good work
@Jason How does memory work? How does a parent cell pass on its memory to its child cell? Why do I remember stuff from 20 years ago when literally not a cell in my body was alive back then?
Often what happens with the Mandela Effect is people remember the resulting media after an iconic movie, etc., not the movie itself. For instance, a lot of these believers swear they "remember" Tom Cruise wearing sunglasses during the famous living-room dancing scene. He didn't. He wore sunglasses other times in the movie, but not that scene. However, it was parodied in potato chip commercials and other places, including an episode of "The Nanny," and they added the sunglasses. How egotistical of people to believe there's some huge conspiracy altering space and time, rather than that they simply misremembered something.
As a kid I drew the Monopoly guy from looking at the board. I took a look at that drawing a few weeks back and drew a monocle attached to a cord going into his pocket. I had no other references at the time than that board.
@@slapmyfunkybass Easy. You misremembered some part of that story. I have a memory, real as any memory of my childhood, of putting a taffy in the mouth of this little hand puppet frog I had and it ate the taffy. I also CLEARLY remember jumping off the recliner and flying all the way across the room, landing skillfully on my feet like a superhero. Obviously those things did not happen. Look, not trying to be a dick, but, let's pin it down. What, exactly, are you Mandela crowd saying? The very nature of reality was changed, and it mostly affected silly things like this? By who? Why? Most importantly, friggn HOW? You seriously think you're of such sound mind that the above scenario seems more likely to you than your misremembering something? Jesus, the ego on you people. I don't know why you drew a monocle. Maybe you saw some OTHER media, an article ABOUT Monopoly, where the pic included gave him one. People have been assuming that little ol' coot has a monocle for decades, because other cartoons of old rich guys DO. But he doesn't and he never has. And to elaborate on Risky Business, it wouldn't have even made SENSE for him to have had sunglasses in that scene. The sunglasses were something he added when he started being a pimp, to show he was now "cool." Again, not trying to be an asshole, but this shit is fascinating. What are you people saying happened? You can't believe something this big with no theory.
Advanced Raymondology I’m not implying anything, only that I clearly remember doing that drawing, we were on vacation at the time and to be honest was bored, stuck in the apartment because of bad weather, they had some board games in a storage box. No one wanted to play so I got some paper and drew Monopoly guy. I certainly couldn’t have done it from memory - so fair to say I used that as a reference. I have no idea why I drew the monocle. All I can think is in some countries he does have one and I copied that.
"The mendala effect" you say out loud, despite spelling it correctly. But that's jsut a nitpick. You using the Darth Vader quote though, and giving us misinformation on the Mirror Mirror thing which actually is the correct quote, but just wasnt in the Disney movie. That makes this video fall into the trash can along with all the others that try to talk about this by saying the EXACT SAME THINGS. And not fact checking any of it first. I cam here to learn something new, but I clearly know more than you after just a few hours. I hate how lazy people can be that they can all just keep posting the exact same info over and over and over. "The mendala effect was named after Mandela" you even said it correctly here for the second bit! What are yo doing? Ugh Nope i can't even watch this to the end. Especially if this really does end with "Memories are bad and just go wrong sometimes." because there's a reason that has never worked to explain this effect before. Please in future put some effort into a video, and don't just make a copycat video.

@@BGNewsReporter well actually he is. This is a commentary on the potential falsehoods of the Mandela effect. So hence the Webster's definition of debunk. Did you even watch the video? Or did he attempt to disbunk in the video I saw in a parallel universe? Hmmm
I KNOW I watched the news report of mendela dying during a prison riot. I remember this because I didn't know he was in prison I remember this and talked about it numerous times before the mendela effect came to be known. I always asked people if he happened to be on the news and they were in the room with me if they ever heard of him dying? Absolutely no false memory here!
When I was a kid I was in a foster home. The foster home treated me like garbage. When I went back to be with my grandmother for a short time we try to find where the foster home was at. We went to the place where it was supposed to be located but there was nothing there but the tree that was in the front yard. The house was gone just an empty plot of land but the tree that had the tree swing on it was still there it's as if I slipped into a reality that was in a different reality. I knew I was in the right place, I knew that this was where the foster home had been, but it was no longer there anymore. It it been just a short month since I've been at that foster home and it had disappeared. That was my first recollection of being and the Mandela effect.
Memories and emotions are intertwined. If you can't forget about something, you have to rewire the emotion behind it. That's why psychedelics work with PTSD it reframes their awful experiences and resets the emotion fuelling the recurring memory
Im tripping right now. I just rewatched the movie The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg. I was stoked to get to the part where Mark's character, Mickey Ward fought Gotti because I remember those fight scenes being pretty epic. But this time I watched it the movie ended before Ward fought Gotti. I swear I became a fan of the Ward/Gotti fights based on that movie.
I have found no evidence of that. In fact they are looking to shoot a sequel, The Fighter 2 where the story picks up where Ward and Gotti start their rivalry.
About a few years ago, I went to a local recreational center to check out the facility to see what type of gym equipment they had. I remember just past the front counter, you can see a large pool area (roughly the size of 4 swimming pools) and to the side of the pool there was a rock climbing wall. I remember this clearing, because I thought how cool it was to be able to free climb, and just drop down into the water when you loose grip. I returned a month later with my friends to play rachetball, but this time, I didn’t see the rock wall. I told my friends about it, and they think I’m nuts.
A strange Mandela effect I've always personally had was with the Guitar riff to Do I wanna know. I always remembered that riff to an old Kanye West song, need I mind you, that was way before I had ever heard the song or that the song had even came out. But when I did finally hear the song in like 2016 it only bothered me more that I for some reason remembered that riff from a Kanye song.
The book is by Daniel not David. Next , I have an old picture of the Monopoly man , and he does have one eye piece , yes. This is a way to make people think they are just imagining this .
I BLEW MY OWN MIND RIGHT NOW. The Simpsons seems to be a hotbed for Mandela effect residue and predictions right? I'm noticing Jim Carrey does as well. 1: Hello Clarice - The cable guy 2: you love me, you really love me - The Mask 3: look everyone, its the Monopoly man - Ace Ventura. Kind of odd when you consider those are 3 popular changes and everything that has been going on w me Jim Carrey.
An author recounts how he was discussing in a church with some other person about the Bible talking about "the wolf and the lamb" but people thinking that it's "the lion and the lamb". Some lady nearby said that of course it's "the lion and the lamb", and she was 100% sure and adamant about it. When she was directed to check the passage in her own Bible, she just couldn't believe what she was reading. She was completely perplexed. No matter how many times she read the passage, it said "the wolf and the lamb", not "the lion and the lamb". She just couldn't believe it.
I believe we are in a simulation run by Aliens and they control the Mandela effect so if you get an answer from god it would be an answer from the aliens because God exists only in this simulation 🙂👍
I *do* remember his death, in prison. And then Winnie Mandela was made President of SA. Which I thought was really weird as, I thought there would have been a more electoral process. No one suggested this to me. It’s something I remember and then, decades later heard he was still alive and being released from prison, and was like 😲
Because he did. Mr peanut or any other character with a top hat doesn't exist on the UK. That one doesn't work over here. False memory 🤣. Trying telling that to about 90% of monopoly players in the UK who will tell u he had a monocle. Most people just think it's been removed due to an updated logo. Nice try 👍👌
@@skankrim5398 Are you suggesting that there are no characters (in film and otherwise) that wore a top hat and monocle and were seen in the UK? The two generally go together. I can think of movies that exemplify this, it's a common trope. The fact that you have rejected a simple explanation and instead have decided that physical reality has changed to match what YOU remember says quite a bit about your mental state.

@eddrum 100 - why would someone make a joke with a famous line and change it ? I don't see the logic in a comedy by doing that? Why? To make it funnier? It should be : no, I am your father if that was the original line.... caliche?
I have something to say When I go to sleep, I sleep, when I wake up there is no memory of any dreams. Not that bad right? Well one day I was in the car and we were driving in the country side and then out of nowhere I remembered a dream from weeks ago where I seen this exact event take place but didn't remember it till it hapenned. It now happens regularly and it annoys me. I also remember Vader saying - Luke I am your Father and not - no I'm your father. Curious George always had a tail. It was always mirror mirror on the wall. And the Monopoly man always had a monicle....
That sounds like deja vu, where in that exact moment you remember seeing and doing the exact thing as you've done before just like you've already lived that moment at some point. Its very confusing when it happens, as the years have gone on for me these moments have gotten longer and longer to the point where i literally know what i do next and its like im following a pre determined path, even though i know this i still cant change course in that moment until the deja vu has ended then its like its handed back in my full control. Who knows what it truly is but our free will we think we have could all just be an illusion.
It’s different dimensions... maybe someone has made an inter dimensional portal and when ever they open it, one of our past histories changes a bit but we still remember the original there for our memory is wrong Just a theory
I specifically remember Nelson Mandela passing away just recently and not in the 80’s or 90’s. Just like that a lot of this Mandela effect does not apply to me and does not work on me because I just know and remember things the proper way lol
I like how they put a one size fit all on everybody’s brain. I can remember dates and events that happened in those dates from 10 years ago or 20 years ago. I can tell people what they was wearing Back in 1998 during middle school field day. I was sent to a doctor back in 2003 when I was in the 11th grade and he and his assistant take a picture and at the time I didn’t know why. I went to the same doctor five years later and he told me to describe the day he took the picture. Everything I named was in the picture down to they clothes and hairstyles. I was tested for a few weeks and the Told me I have synesthesia, which helps me remember things that the average person wouldn’t and it retains in my brain for years and years and years. So when I tell you I remember things from my childhood that I remember, like the Atlanta braves winning the 1990 and 1995 World Series and only a handful of people remember it to then that’s the universe telling us that we intermingled with other universes or other timelines. Disproved universes don’t behave in this manner then I’ll believe you. There are things in his world that cannot be explained and science is not the God of all answers.
So you agree with these discrepancies in logo designs and spellings? It just seems so far fetched but I feel the logical answer is that designs change over the years and they just make these videos for views.
Having a good memory and having perfect memories are two different things. Remembering a smell does not mean you can't be misremembering a world series. Your brain is not perfect and is also the thing telling you that I am wrong. So either you misremembered something or confused two things... or the travelled to a parallel universe. Scary how the brain would rather accept the impossible over the probable.
I have one Mandela effect experience recently, Mulan was added to Disney+ and it’s my favorite Disney Princess film, and I was watching it and “I’ll Make a Man out You” plays and the part where the characters say their minds on theirs training, I remember Mulan getting knocked back onto a tree, and says “Hope he doesn’t see right through me” I remember her saying that, like with her lips, but no, she says it in her head, I would say Telepathically but that’s something different, and I swear I remember it where she says it with her lips not thoughtfully, is “thoughtfully” the right word for what I’m trying to say? Idk but it freaked the shit out of me... and why does the dude pronounce Mandela like Mandala? Different things mate, and I’m not British.
Two possibilities... One.. the people describing the effect actually experienced it and remember things perfectly.. two... they don't. There's no practical psychology in saying "false memories" when you have no way of testing to see if their memories are actually false. Scientists don't even understand gravity. Let's not pretend we have the answer to this one to be able to say, "false memories". Have more credibility.
I know a lot of people are offended that someone dare challenge their pride and memory but let's be real here... How many times have you had that "oh I lost my train of thought " "what was I suppose to do today?" *arguing with someone * your stupid bro "I NeVEr sAiD tHaT " "your stupid" "you're**" *Misspelled words * *Shopping list done except for the milk * *Forgot a payment was due * *Swear on your life you did this when you recally didnt most Likley you dreamt it but just confused it * *walk into a room and forget what your came in there to do * Not to mention all the short term memory loss people out there... Wait... Did I lock the door? Did I turn the stove off? Is the sprinkler running When was that report due? We had homework? Do you have school today? *it's Saturday * You really think that it's not possible for us to be jumping to conclusion.... Yes my answer is yes I do think that 10s of thousands of people got it confused because the examples I gave above happen to everyone
This phenomenon is not a false memory or misremembering. Mandala effect is a result of shifting/merging of timelines. It's not that hard to understand if you first realize the massive lie that we've been told about the nature of our reality. Deja Vu is actually the feeling you get at the moment the timelines are shifting because the timelines are very similar but not exact. This is why in that moment you feel as if you've lived that moment before. Expand your thinking. Small minds and large egos.
They released a movie to take away from the fact that strange things have been happening.. and now anyone that actually believes in the mandella effect will look like a fool. Government tactics.. and its scary.. but what can ya do. Keep your mind open to new ideas. And just always follow what you belive in your heart. Thats really all we can do in our short existence. So did my wife and many more .. where this gets tricky is .. if it was true and it was a human imagination or bad memory why would millions have the same memory . Wouldn’t the math numbers come into play maybe a few thousands would say yes he didn’t hv a oracle vs millions n millions of people worldwide saying he never did .. but that’s not the case it’s a extremely large amount of people that all had the same shared memory of the monopoly guy having a oracle on he’s eye
I am Malaysian, in South East Asia, I remember the Monopoly Man with the monocle, so there is no way anyone suggest to me that he have a monocle or i misremember him by being confused with something else that look similar to him because that logo is unique,. And nobody in my country wear monocle anyway because that is clearly European style. So my memory of the Monopoly man wearing monocle is genuine. The Mandela Effect is real.
I dont have to watch the video to know that you still never explain how people that dont know each other remember the samething that is supposed to have never happened
The mind is not as reliable as we think. That being said, this has nothing to do with bad memory, getting 2 things mixed up , or anything of the sort. You see some things actually mean something to someone, if that something changes you're definitely going to notice, such as Bible verses and long loved songs and movies, no you can live in a word where you are afraid to trust you own senses, what you know to be true, because of being exposed to it a lot, or because it means something personal, when those things change, there's no argument, it changed. People Trust Your Mind, Your Memories and Most of All Your Intuition, it you are searching for Truth Honesty,You Will Find It, I do caution strongly that The Truth is Certainly Stranger Than Fiction
1st off; what is the "Môn-dãlla" effect? Moving right along 😂, It seems as if you're attempting to justify the phenomenon with the "7 sins of memory" and "misremembering". I hope I'm wrong in that assumption. If however, I am right, then ur logic isn't logical. Lol. Nothing described in this video is similar to the "Mandela effect". There is no (public) explanation for it. 10's of thousands of people across the globe remember ONE THING THE SAME! If I'm being honest, not sure why the video was even titled the way it is. U hardly touched on the "Mandela effect", and if you weren't attempting to "debunk", (as it were), then everything else referenced was contradictory and shared no relation to the Mandela effect. #JustSayin #SorryForTheRant #MandelaEffect #SayItRight #Lol #WouldYouLikeHelp #InTheFuture? 💯🆓📢.
I am a bible scholar. I have only read the King James bible. I have studied it for almost 40 years. I know it well. I know that the word "Wineskins"was in the bible. It is now reading as "bottles". I know other people who also study the bible in depth. When I mention that the word "Wineskins" has been removed from ALL bibles, they ALL disagree and insist that it is in the bible and that the Mandela effect does not exist. When I challenge them to go to the scriptures that have the word "Wineskins" in them, they then look that scripture up, and they ALL become very concerned that the word "Wineskins" has been removed and when I tell them to even look in their older bibles that have been worn out from use, they are even more amazed. . The one person I really remember is the one who has a long standing ministry called "wineskins". When I told him Wineskins has been removed and he denying it, I insisted that he go to the scriptures. He grabbed his bible to prove to me that I was mistaken and was completely amazed that it was gone. I ask you, is this the result of a mind that is altered? Are you that closed minded to think that so many people that did not know each other are suffering with the same exact misunderstanding? That they ALL are mis-reading exactly the same for years? That even though they never met are misreading the same word? If you really believe that, I have a bridge I would like to sell you.
THANK YOU FOR THIS !!!! I’m very spiritual but when things don’t resonate w me I know they’re wrong and this Mandela effect I always thought it was just us humans having bad memory ...it just makes sense why a certain percentage of people would remember things a different way..I never ever bought into this Mandela effect BS ....I always knew it was something like this but could never put it into words ....now this sits right w me 😅🙌🙌
My theory is that the people with the memory of changes in things are all in one group and the people seeing no changes are in another group and somehow we got melded together!
Back when we played monopoly I believe that we had watched many cartoons, where there wud be a short bald sphere faced guy wearing a lens, who looked just like the monopoly guy. A large number of cartoons have that kind of character. And hence after hearing about monopoly after a long while, we just ending up assuming that even the monopoly guy looked the same as those other cartoon characters. That’s why our minds slipped and we thought he had that one eyed lens

How did you know
So I was watching old Disney princess movies and I always remember saying "true loves kiss" but apparently now its "first loves kiss"? Is it just more or does anyone else remember it always being true loves kiss
I blame that one on Shrek

True loves first kiss was Shrek. They couldn’t use the same saying Disney did.
I remember "He said you killed my father.' ... 'No, I am your father."
Paul Getson good that’s pretty close it’s he said you killed him
to anyone who remembers 'Luke I am your farther' blame the Simpsons Bleeding Gums Murphy episode, that came to mind for me as soon as I watched the original Star Wars movie and saw that it was "No, I am your father" this is probably an example of misattribution.

Noah Wilkinson welcome to the other side.
He definitely had black on the tail! I remember thinking it weird to see him without it

@Jason How does memory work? How does a parent cell pass on its memory to its child cell? Why do I remember stuff from 20 years ago when literally not a cell in my body was alive back then?
Their desperation to explain the un=explainable is comical.
OH YES HE DID WEAR SUNGLASSES WHEN HE DANCED
No he didn't. He started wearing sunglasses when he got "cool. " The dance was before that.
The sunglasses were something he added when he started being a pimp, to show he was now "cool."
Again, not trying to be an asshole, but this shit is fascinating.

But when I did finally hear the song in like 2016 it only bothered me more that I for some reason remembered that riff from a Kanye song.

Correct...There was never bone behind the human eye before.
Why do you pronounce Mandela differently depending if you're referring to the man or the effect? It doesn't make any sense.
This is why police detectives would rather deal with strictly physical evidence, since eyewitnesses tend to be unreliable so often.
So if one hundred people said some thing exactly the same you would say that's unreliable ? STFU
I BLEW MY OWN MIND RIGHT NOW. The Simpsons seems to be a hotbed for Mandela effect residue and predictions right? I'm noticing Jim Carrey does as well.

I never understood why people thought the Monopoly man had a monocle
Mr. Peanut most likely. It's pretty common for cartoon characters to have a monocle when they're wearing a top hat.

I remember VIVIDLY Curious George using his tail to swing from a tree while eating a banana
I have something to say
When I go to sleep, I sleep, when I wake up there is no memory of any dreams.
Same here...It's creepy...
It’s different dimensions... maybe someone has made an inter dimensional portal and when ever they open it, one of our past histories changes a bit but we still remember the original there for our memory is wrong
Just a theory
Bro this would make do much sense like I fricken remember curious George with a tail because he used to swing on trees and light poles with it
THE GABINATOR exactly like I swear I remember a Curious George book cover with him swinging from a tree with his tail
I specifically remember Nelson Mandela passing away just recently and not in the 80’s or 90’s. Just like that a lot of this Mandela effect does not apply to me and does not work on me because I just know and remember things the proper way lol
Or cuz ur not from the universe where that actually happened and ur supposed to be here that’s why things are fine for u
“The mAnDalluH effect was named after Nelson Mandela” bruh how do u mess it up on it’s own but not in his name
Lol no don’t worry he messed up his name too 😂
What if Nelson Mandela’s name itself is part of the Mandela effect and it was “Nelson Mandella” the whole time...

The Mandela Effect is REAL... My memorys isn't false echos...
True. Click me and learn the quantum data for the mandela effect. This is about merging of realities
I dont have to watch the video to know that you still never explain how people that dont know each other remember the samething that is supposed to have never happened
You still sound pretty young. I'll let you gain some experience before I tell you everything that was wrong about this video.
among us
no monocle and no tinkerbell in disney's intro in this reality? how boring...
How do you pronounce Mandela effect wrong it’s an e not an o
Moving right along 😂,
It seems as if you're attempting to justify the phenomenon with the "7 sins of memory" and "misremembering".
Eric Jones if your going to write a paragraph please include a TL;DR
@@jaionn No thanks, I'm good.
Also the planters peanuts guy does have a monocle, actually, now. Maybe there's some correlation there
We mixing up Mr. Peanut and the monopoly guy!! Mr peanut has a monocle
One of the biggest ones is tinker bell no longer doing intros for disney movies going around the castle and doing loopdyloops before dotting the i and then making the line above the castles with lots of glittery fairy dust
I 100% remember The Berestein Bears. I focused on this specifically as a child because I wanted to learn cursive before we learned it in class. This being the title of a book series I enjoyed, it was a good launching point. I also remember talking to my parents about why it wasn't pronounced "stein" like Frankenstein. I wasn't aware of names like Weinstein.
For this reason. I believe that in Empire, one of the greatest movies of all time, people who remember Vader saying "Luke, I am your father!" Is what they actually heard.
It was the Berenstein bears. It was my favorite cartoon and remember the e’s in the name🤷🏾♂️
I remember Great Britain being “Great Brittany”. I might be wrong, but I swear I can remember teachers saying this in class.
I hardly paid attention to shit in class that's probably why this mandela effect don't bother me as much
Dealio09 true, some things stick out more to me than others. Great Brittany just rolls off the tounge better, makes more sense.
You're speaking very well i like you're voice
False memories ? Hm, what if someone remembers both editions of each "example" what would it be then?
That's called a memory overwrite according to people on Reddit.
@@Lilly-leaf huh...Interesting. Never heard of that term before..I wonder if someone ever has a vivid dream from years ago, see it as it was at the time, then remember that differently the years later when thinking about it again.
It's called a dual memory on that effect 🙂👍
