25 years after, 43 old, 3 injury at work after, i realize the same. Even if for us, here in Italy really kills every smart working will with taxes and trouble all around, we are planning. There was a time in wich me and my wife lived 3 year in a RV and start from zero a farm from abandoned plot, that runs great 10 years until life gives me lemons, and we definetely miss those days, when we have nothing, but at the same time, we have everything needed.
I'm sorry to hear that Italy offers up the same headaches as our own country of Canada. But it sounds like you and your wife have lived quite a life! RV for 3 years sounds exciting, and turning desolate land into a farm is quite an accomplishment. You seem to have a strong spirit that even when life gives you grief, you don't let it get you down for long. Stay true, stay strong, stay free my Italian friend!
@@kageandellie yeah Just to start smart working you have to open an account as entrepeneur that cost 500 euros each months plus other 125 euros every 3 months for insurance in case of injury. And there's no other way like be hired legally because they are too expensive for companies. First step Will be move out from Italy. 3 Years with no electricity, no water, only later when we drill a well, was crazy, still now every comfortable shower it's like a bless for us. One suggestion: accept no compromise and test your strong Will. Everything Will be fine and Easy After suffering.
wow that it WAY too much bureaucracy preventing people from starting up businesses and taking control of their work lives. thankfully in Canada it is a relatively easy process once you're registered. I can't blame you for wanting to start fresh somewhere outside of Italy with all the obstacles that you have had to face especially without the amenities! Available running water for hot showers now would be a blessing and never taken for granted again :) If you land somewhere else keep us posted, we'd like to hear about the next step in your journey.
Merci! We have lots on the go and we will do our best to get more out soon! The private island video mentioned at the end of this video is almost complete!
Thanks G! There seems to be lots of opportunity out there to get involved in green energy field. If you liked this, you should check out another video we did on a channel we tried earlier called Nomad Electrician.. there's a video on there called Day in the Life...
Hi Thanks for watching; and great question! At the moment, most of our work has been in Ontario and it has been either from a couple different solar clients I do regular work for (and they sell all over the province), friends, or other small business owner/electricians that need extra help for a few days or weeks. We have later on our list this year to go to the east coast and see more out there. I have a couple contacts in the trades I'll be connecting with. But.. if I were to blind shoot something, it would be either cold calling electricians if they need temp help, construction contractors, electrical suppliers (to find out who is busy), and finally hit up the online advertising.. but I do find word of mouth seems to be the best! Thanks for again for watching - new video uploading in an hour or two!

Great video! Curious to know how you go about getting work and whether you mostly work in one area or are able to get clients wherever you go?

HA!! Even before the price was shown I guessed $3 million for the first house.
Good guess! I’m pretty sure it’s still not finished! 😅
where are the videos only a few on youtube..
They’ve all been collecting in my hard drives waiting for me to have time to audit the raw footage! 😅
