It`s funny you can get this sound in NFS Pro Street by using VLTED mod by combining 240SX sound + 240Z exhaust sound.

@@j.marston I`m not an expert but probably yes. And also I don`t think VLTED mod is made for Frostbite engines and I don`t know in what sound format are they. I assume they are in similar format as NFS MW/Carbon. And in NFS Pro Street there were different sounds for engine and exhaust.
Also 240Z is probably using Hakosuka sound file and in NFS Payback in the story mode when the Tyler got the rusty white 240Z sounded similar as NFS World/The Run but this file is probably unused in the game.
And 180SX in lower revs kinda sounds like the 240SX in NFS Pro Street and in higher revs sounds like the Silvia S14 in NFS The Run.

I hate how dual clutch cars still sound like they have manual shifts.
Sound of them actually sound like dual clutch..but for the ones that dont you can always upgrade the clutches to elite and then they will shift lightning quick as they should

It's actually none of the reasons people are mentioning here, well somewhat, i mean did nobody here try and think about the fact that the person playing is using actual manual shifting and trying to simulate that ? Also using downgraded clutches to have a better listen to the blow off sounds.

Some of the Diablo SV came from the factory with that SV livery in real life, so it's not as iconic as the other three in which all are custom made in terms of body kits and/or liveries and exact replicas can't be found in real life.

FINALLY! A game where the Viper doesn't sound high pitched and crappy. (Excluding FH4 but that has the opposite problem...)
Aside from slightly butchering the 918 and giving the Bel Air a V8 sound (when it's supposed to have an l6 judging by the spec sheet on the left), this is some serious sound work. Some are a tiny bit off in terms of pitch accuracy (i.e. tone vs revs) but eh, that's really nitpicking. NOICE!
That isn't really nit picking...
You cannot feel the characteristics of the torque curves of high revving and low revving engine, without the pitch differences then the high rpm experience is just gone

High revving NA engines tend to have a more exciting power delivery than lower revving ones...(sometimes better throttle response and less low rpm power so revving the engine up to 8000+ feels more exciting)
You can't really feel these in a game so I think getting the pitch right to make it feel like it is at 9000rpm is important
@@RS-nq8xk aaaah yes now I see it, had to reread the comment lol yeah some pitches are off and I do notice that in almost all games nowadays.. too bad the times of stuff like PGR4 are long gone ;_; that game had godlike sounds, they even got to the point of recording the different BOVs for turbo cars and whatnot. I was surprised of how good the RSX and DB5 engine sound was. My favourite engine sounds are BMW M3 GTR, Corvette C7/Ford GT, (i usually like the ferrari 458 and lamborghini huracan engine sound, but i most hand it to NFS 2015), ferrari FXXK, Lamborghini Murciélago, Nissan 180sx, Porsche 911 GT3 RS (of course my favourite is going to be the RX7, but that is my bias opinion...) I do however gravitate to higher pitch engine sound so my opinion is a little bias too...
