BECK is a manga, which was later made into an anime under the name BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. It was created by mangaka Harold Sakuishi and was originally published by Kodansha in Monthly Shonen Magazine. It tells the story of a group of Japanese teenagers who form a rock band. The manga is currently licensed in the USA by Tokyopop. The series has also spawned three guidebooks. BECK won the 2002 Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen.
The original 26-episode anime television series was aired on Japan's TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2005. It was directed by Osamu Kobayashi, animated by Madhouse and produced by Takeshi Shukuri and Yoshimi Nakajima.

this is my favorite anime. my friend and I always watched it together. every fall. unfortunately a friend died this year. can't watch this anime alone. the song reminds me of those happy moments when we watched this anime with him. we also had our own rock band. and we even played this song.

I was 10 years old when I watched this anime. I remember watching this with my dad during a huge storm.
Since then, whenever I hear this song, I remember the rain splatters on our roof. The cold. The comforting warmth of blankets and cocoa.
When I listen to this, i feel like im 10 again. Pure nostalgia.

I think the anime was better with original dub, or the "engrish" for the lack of better words. It's more authentic to a real Japanese band singing english songs you know? That's just me though.

2018 y sigo recordando esas escenas épicas, recuerdo que con este gran anime me dieron ganas de formar una banda, aprendí a tocar la guitarra gracias a la inspiración que me daba ver al protagonista, la primera canción que aprendí a tocar fue esta, me dan ganas de llorar al recordarlo, simplemente lo mejor que me pasó en mi adolecencia.
PD: esto fue hace aproximadamente 7 años, aun sigo tocando.

Terminei de ver Beck Hoje eu conheci através do Manga quando tava entediado eu costumava pesquisar Gibi Mangar pra ler, ae conheci Beck e só muito tempo depois pesquisei se tinha o Anime, cara esse anime é demais para mim é melhor que vários outros que faz sucesso na TV Brasileira.. merecia ter uma segunda temporada e varios filmes ovas na minha opinião
