Our first night in our house was better than we thought. We thought it would be noisy at night because of the passing cars. But surprisingly it was very quiet and we slept soundly to the sounds of nature. On our first morning we organized our things and cleaned the inside of the house. It was exhausting, but we are happy. We didn't have time to cook, so my husband went to a local canteen called Karenderia to buy some cooked food. We had our first meal at home. It rained so hard the day we moved and all my husband's books got wet. It's a pity, they are good books about building and construction. We can use these books to build our future home. Boris tried to save them by drying them in the sun and it seems to be working. We don't have a water connection yet, so we went to the nearby spring to take a shower and also collect some water to use at home.
The next day we got up very early to start cleaning and unpacking our things again. I cooked some eggs for breakfast. I vacuumed the walls and floors. Then I started cleaning the kitchen. Our house looks a little better now. In the afternoon, Boris and I went to the local market to buy fish, they only have bangus here. We also bought some vegetables. At home I picked some sweet potato tops to add to my fish soup. We are happy to have so many plants in our garden that we can eat and use. We had a great dinner and are ready for tomorrow.
You should put your motorcycle inside and other valuable inside your house . It might somebody took it
You can visit our beach house in Tolosa if you want to for a weekend. It is directly on the beach, Free of charge. Message if you want to. You can get fresh fish directly from fisherfolks on the beach. Very peaceful
I think your house need renovations for your safety. Nice new place stay safe
If you make improvements of your house you may move a little further from the road to be safe..spacious front yard is better and safer...takecare :)
Put your bike inside at night and when you are out in your backyard busy. Calamansi is good for you as drink with tea. KEEP BIKE INSIDE, BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY GUY'S.
Try to use botas when you go to your garden and plant lemon grass malunggay and other anti snakes plant in your yard to avoid snakes
You should buy to double walling inside you house and put double screen your windows and doors to avoid mosquito and flies coming inside your house.
You can collab with Pinoy Polish wife they are both living in Surigao.
Put in under the sun all d books so they will dry fast
Those pretty inconviniences of moving and starting a new life in another place made me miss the old days of provincial life. It's an adventure which you will look back when you grow old. I wish you both the best as you transform your house, your backyard and your farm into a paradise that you've dreamed of. Little by little you will do it! Hello darlene and boris, I started watching your vlogs when you guys in Russia until going to philippines, I remember your sacrifice from luzon to samal island then now you have your own house, I'm happy to see you'll enjoyed simple living in remote Island.

Maganda po Dyan may bakod half hollowblocks then half steel matting paikot a Haus para secure at lagyan nyo Ng solar panel n ilaw at CCTV madaming mura s shopee for more security po pero happy po at Meron n tlga kyong own n bahay unti unti nyo nlang ayusin s gusto nyong design at make a little garden of flowers and mixed veges
