I’ve commented before but I love it. My biggest mistakes are leaving myself too much to handle when I miss the green. That safe chip shot is what I lack every time. You bounce back so easily, something I have to get better at. So many rounds I could broken 80 but I just blew a few holes up.
The sky is beautiful The foliage is beautiful The course is beautiful What's the course? What's the region? I am a 12 handy 76 is the best round in my bag.. I play alot of the Robert Trent Jones courses in the lower 48. Zero firs on those courses, lol
Our games are very similar… ive watched a few episodes and you have better chipping and putting which is why im a 9hdc. My tee shots and second shots play like a 5 but my chipping plays like a 12. Nice vid. Thanks for not posting perfect rounds or your best rounds constantly.
Watching you has helped me improve so much more. I still get a few doubles and triples because my chipping isnt there. But overall my scores have gone down
Glad this helps you!! Learn to chip using a 50, 56, 60 with an open club face to use the bounce. Have your hands forward at address and feel like your hitting the ball with your chest
@@AgainstThe-Grain Wow, thanks to your tips I chipped in for the first time ever today, and lipped out on another chip in just a few holes later. Chipping using the 56 made it much easier. Can’t wait for more videos!
Golf is easy to make a decent score (relative to your skill level) by playing conservatively but to score tour lowest you need to take a bit more risk. I guess the real skill is knowing when you can push and when you need to be patient.
I noticed ya switched up your putter from the blade over to the spider? Thought process? (You seem to be putting just as well !) what clubs you rocking, gotta do a witb for us equipment junkies
I love my old Nike blade more than anything but I just started pulling the odd short putt and wanted something heavier! The spider has been treating me well lately though so it’ll stay for a bit longer! I’ll definitely do a witb soon!
Ha nice I have my old Nike method black blade. Been bouncing around loads of putter since as I got the yips and have been even experimenting with claw grip…. Thought about spider I like a super heavy putter head
Not that I’m a pro by any means, but if you want send me a video of your putting stroke on our instagram and I’d love to help with your putting issue if your interested!
im open to any comments.long story short.played golf 50 years off scratch, drive it good, nice short game, when i play alone no problem breaking par, when i play tournaments i will shoot over 90
@@AgainstThe-Grain here a example. i m on practice green hitting great chips, no one around but me.then someone walks past and i think they are watching me and i will top it.LOL.maybe i get nervous ,worry about making a fool of myself, worry about hitting awful shots.
Im confused , you say this is how to eliminate doubles and blow up holes then hit a treble on a 340 par 4 .. then get birdie with an eighteen foot putt , then a ten footer for par after a dismal approach shot , I mean it continues in the same vain , no mention of the obvious hook from an above feet or not hitting a lefty draw from the tee into a the massive trouble right ? I mean this is some great recovery play and amazing putting but for the majority of golfers this method would result in an over 100 round . Great golf but not as advertised is it ? It should be billed as ‘how to great a great result from a crap plan by playing super care free borderline great golf like a happy drunk fella on sunday ‘
Love your guys’ perspective on golf. Need more like you on the course! Doesn’t hurt that you swing from the “right” side. Good luck in the quest on TH-cam!
not under standing why your hitting a hybrids off the Tee box on 350 something yard par fours when its just a clean straight shot to the pin down hill even ,, just setting yourself up for longer second shot in to the green ,, second shot is always way harder then a Tee shot ,, and if your drivers not working why wouldn't u just use a 3w ,,, like i said not understanding the whole hybrid thing
I was hitting driver so bad on the range, everything was a huge hook so i was hitting hybrid just to get it in play. Tough to tell in the video but there was also lots of creeks, rocks and bunkers that hybrid let me avoid. I actually didn't have my 3-wood at the time, only had a 3 iron and hybrid hahah
The entire video is about avoiding blowup holes... use a hybrid off the tee you're making par or bogey, use a driver when it's not behaving and you're risking doubles and triples

Mental Brain farts from nowhere..... Super beautiful golf course and some classy shots/putts too. Love watching you play.
Lots of brain farts😂😂 Thank you!!
If I had your putting then I can save a lot of strokes. You’re also good with course management knowing when to hit hybrids off the tee.
Thank you, i definitely had some un-forced errors from choosing the wrong club off the tee! We just got to learn from the mistakes!
Nice video.. what a stunner of a course.. Off I go to see if it's on GSpro...
Yeah it’s a beautiful golf course! What’s GSpro?

How to avoid double and triple bogeys.... be a single digit handicap.
Yeah thats a good start
Arent those lost balls off the tee on 11 and 17 a 2-stroke penalty when you drop it where you play? Tight game otherwise
It is either playing 3 off the tee or 4 where you drop it
@@mickbrowne2378 yes that's what I thought, but he dropped and counted his next one as his 3rd shot
Its into red stakes (hazard) in on 1, drop at point of entry no closer to the hole 2, and now hitting 3.
