I was talking to a fella about getting better fuel mileage and I always thought utilizing cruise was the way to go. He told me I’ll up my fuel mileage by using the peddle and watching my boost gauge. He told me to try to keep my boost gauge under 20-25 especially climbing hills or inclines. My 30 day average was 6.65 and now by using the peddle and boost my 30 day average went to 7.13. I noticed climbing a hill if I was on cruise my truck would go to 11th gear, and the boost would be 20-25, but if i go up the same hill using my peddle and watching my boost I could still be at 58 mph and my boost would be at 15-20. Once the boost gets over 20 I just back off a hair on the peddle and still maintain 58 mph on the climb in 11th gear and the boost will be below 20 again. It’s more work, but worth it. I now only use cruise if i’m empty or on flat ground. Hope this helps. Thanks for the video and tips.

Hey guys not to be critical on you guys but do you guys put your windows up at your offices or houses with it’s 70° out or do you guys let the AC roll in the climate controlled area just a thought man

Our windows in the office don't open. JK 😅
While keeping your windows closed can improve your fuel efficiency minimally, it’s certainly your choice whether you’d like to do it. We understand the desire to roll the windows down when the weather is great.
