- Detroit's driver training series begins with fuel economy. Selecting a Detroit engine is a big part of improving your fuel consumption, but smart drivers make a big difference, too.

My boss is buying a cascadia with the DD15 engine...so im just checking out the proper driving technics for this new engine so i can get some decent mpg for him
Never use station DEF if you're an O/O.
Use the sealed containers and fill yourself.
You'll save headaches with engine issues.
looking around see which truck to buy.
don't buy a Detroit unless you don't care about horsepower or torque
Como se maneja la dde 3
Me puedes ayudar xf gracias
Unbelivable, wich truck is this. Can't belive MercedesBenz buses in EU had the same stering wheel. And buttons on the dash came olny in the 2019 (but another MB bus company - Setra introduced this buttons in 2013).. Probably MB and detroit are same company (mb maybe bought detroit?)
Both are owned by Daimler
Tailgating stupidly at 11.50.
That's the same Jeep Liberty that has a go pro camera mounted on it at 11:43
The best thing you can do to increase your fuel economy is to buy a Paccar MX 13 and not listen to this blah blah blah from Detroit. the engine brake works good and changing oil is easy on the DD13 , that is the only positive things I can say about the Detroit
I'm drivin a 2017 Cascadia with the dd15 and its cut back probably got 400 horsepower to the rear wheels if that and the jake doesn't work under 35mph and keeping thew crusie control on when approaching a 2% grade the speed drops from 65mph to 55mph with only 10000lbs on its a freaking joke.Penske leasing says they cant change the setting which is bullshit cuz I drove a 2012 and 2014 and 2016 and the jake works right down to 5mph and most were casterated no power gutless for the size of the engine sure the technology is so high tech but the computer must be a pencil pusher.
CT17 Shawn These new Detroits don't sell well in Australia, they had to give a Cummins option on the Western Star range and what do you know it's more popular than the DD15. Not many people run the newer Detroits here unless they're a Daimler brand truck, even then people still get the Cummins when it's an option. According to the Daimler guy at the Brisbane Truck Show a month ago the Detroits are very popular and people love them, really, yeah right, that's why you see so many Cummins and Paccar's out there 😂😂.
