- A tour of Carnival Glory. Carnival Glory has been with the Carnival Cruise Line fleet for over 15 years at this point. It was launched in 2003 at 952 feet long. Visit our website for more information: cruiseradio.net/
Carnival Glory is 110,000-tons and has 13 guest decks. And as far as passenger load, she carries 2,980 double occupancy.
So when you put a third and fourth person in the stateroom, that number is going to be well north of 3,000 people.
Going back to 2011, Carnival launched this program called Fun Ship 2.0 where there was $500 million dollars invested across a few ships on their fleet. During that time they put a Guy's Burger Joint, the BlueIguana Cantina, and the BlueIguana Tequila Bar.
Some ships got the RedFrog Pub, this one didn't get the pub. This ship got the RedFrog Rum Bar out by the pool, also the Alchemy Bar, and different enhancements like that.

What do you think of Carnival Glory?
I went there on a Western Caribbean cruise. Wasn't really impressed. Then again, I only said that since I went on the Valor before that lol.
I absolutely love Glory!! I've been on her multiple times. Had a fantastic time each time.
she is my second favorite carnival ship
I did the Glory twice, Sep 2015 and Jan 2018. I don't like to repeat ships but I would definitely sail on the Glory yet again. Great ship.

I've been on this ship it's beautiful, I'm sailing on it again for my 50th birthday.
I'm going when I go to Montego Bay.
The single best vacation week of my life was spent on this ship. I'd love to go back and do it again but it requires the right people to cruise with, not just the ship. Some things can't be repeated, much as you wish they could. But this is still my favorite cruise ship to date.

My plan is to take a cruise in May for my birthday. A few weeks ago when I was on the Carnival Cruise site the information I put in led me to Carnival Valor being the ship I would take. I got on there just now and put in all the same info and now it looks like the ship is going to be Carnival Glory. So that's why I'm here. To see what Carnival Glory is all about.

Cruise Radio the over layout of the ship always made it feel like it was never crowded even on sea days. There do seem to be some public areas of the ship that don’t get used very often. Our cabin was down the hallway in the area between the elevators and the pool area entrance. Only time we had any noise was when music was playing in the atrium when the big doors were open. We never heard anything from Lido
@@stevepse That's nice you were able to have that peace and quiet when you needed it. I have stayed on the Lido deck myself and never noticed any disturbing noise either. Glad to hear you had such a great time.

Loved the video, going on this ship soon...one question...is there any deck where you can walk the entire perimeter of the ship? We are used to sailing on the Dream which does have a deck (I think either deck 4 or 5) and we love to walk on, and hope the glory does too.

Cruise Radio I’ve cruised on the Carnival Splendor, Carnival Magic, Carnival Inspiration (technically twice because we did back to back), and Carnival Sunrise.
Carnival Splendor was pretty good. I would like to go back on it now that it’s gotten a bunch of upgrades. I wish they would add additional hot tubs. On its sister ships in the Costa fleet there are 2 additional hot tubs next to the deck 9 pool. The hot tubs on this ship get crowded and i’m sure it’s now worse since they had to remove one for the new waterworks.
Carnival Magic is my favorite Carnival ship i’ve been on so far. The water park is amazing, and I loved deck 5. Everything about this ship is amazing. The layout is fantastic. They had a show called destination unknown, which they unfortunately got rid of. I wish Carnival would release a video of it. I’d pay up to $500 for it. I can’t say anything bad about this ship.
Carnival Inspiration was so fun! We did a back to back cruise, so we got a know a lot of the crew members, who were shocked to see us again. I got to know the waterworks crew, and the Pizza Pirate crew members knew my order. The playlist cast also told me they were surprised to see me so many times. They did Motor City and Studio VIP which were amazing. Unfortunately this ship is no longer in the fleet due to the money Carnival lost due to coronavirus. I would like to go on one of the 4 remaining fantasy class ships before they eventually get sold. The layout of the fantasy class ships is fantastic, just like the dream class. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of hot tubs. On the remaining fantasy class ships I wish they would put a couple more hot tubs next to where waterworks is.
Carnival Sunrise was probably my least favorite ship i’ve been on, but I’d still go on it again. I loved Soulbound and Latin Nights, but I wish they would replace Vintage Pop with Studio VIP. I didn’t really like the layout of the ship. My biggest problem was the waterslides. They were both boring. The slides on the Carnival Magic and Carnival Inspiration were way better. Maybe the slides just need to be waxed more often. I did enjoy the number of hot tubs though. That was nice. I wish Carnival wouldn’t market this as a “sunshine class” ship because this ship isn’t as nice as the Carnival Sunshine. Carnival Sunshine should be it’s own class while the Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Radiance should be “Sunrise Class”.

This was my first ever cruise! I went in '06 to Nassau, St Thomas and St. Maarten when I was 12 years old. I see the decor has really not changed much lol. Doing a Royal Caribbean cruise from Miami in a few weeks, but eventually want to do another Carnival cruise. Maybe we'll see the Glory in port!

We have sailed on the Glory three times and have two more booked . . . we prefer the Conquest Class ships and the Glory has just been in the right place at the right time. Seems like home.

Sailed on this ship in July 2018. It was a fun cruise, but wasn’t too impressed with the ship. There was not as much to do on the ship as compared to Royal Caribbean ships. However, I like the Carnival cruise line and will definitely be sailing with them again in the future.

Toward the end u kept say "on the Serenity" was that a mistake because the ship is The Glory; or was that area on the ship called the Serenity? Does this ship have a spa for massages, if so how much? Who and how much to tip on the ship?
Serenity is a no kids area on most (maybe all?) Carnival ships.
Would you say Carnival Freedom and Glory are about the same? I did Freedom last year and will cruising the Glory this year. But I feel like that look the same from looking at your video.
Freedom is in a LOT better shape than Glory. It underwent a dry dock early 2019. Thank you for watching.

You mentioned Carnival being “known” for the glass elevators, but I’ve seen them on most ships. I’ve been on RC as well as Carnival. And I’ve seen blogs/videos on Disney vessels. Glass elevators everywhere!
