Ours will be a graduation cruise too and we will be 1 yr behind IF IF IF they set sail. We will be on it for sure. Hoping for May!! I believe we will fly to island if they back it up again. We keep making our plans and arranging our schedule while others in old groups just fly to all exclusive. But I am hoping to set sail. 🏝🛥⚓

I will probably watch this numerous times so that I can memorize where I need to go up (no Stairs) and all the left's and right's I will need to do to get to the different places. Oh man, I came off the glory last month, So many memories, it was my first Carnival cruise in 11 years and I had too much fun! Looking at you showing us different places on the boat brings back memories of each of the places you are showing us! Going on the Norwegian sun in less than 3 weeks!

I definitely recognized the cruise directors voice (I think his name was Dustin?) over the PA! I was amazed at how he could stay energetic at all hours of the day!
My then-4 year old was very hesitant to go in the kids club, but after going one time, wanted to keep going back and had a blast!
The staff are great with the kids!!
Hoping to be on the Glory in November 2021 out of New Orleans, if the CDC lets cruises sail from US ports. Fingers crossed. Great Video, Sal!

Sal go check out the somewhat secret deck very few know about. Go to deck 7 facing forward on the starboard sidew, then go straight down the hall to where it stops and go through the glass window door on your left. Then go through the second door and turn right to enjoy the big deck facing forward right up under the bridge you will have the best view from the when looking at the lovely scenery . There's even a pair of stairs that will take you down to deck 6 too.

Is your cruise being canceled?
Carnival has not canceled my cruise. My final payment is Nov 17th. I have a compromised immune system & will not sail without a tried & proven vaccination. If I have to cancel I will get my any losses returned with my insurance.
I just booked a cruise for Jan and May 2021. Hopefully they wont be cancelled.

Both chips only open on the Lido deck on embarkation day. The reason why is most of the other Stamper’s help in getting people on board. And luggage on board.
So close to the Conquest
I go on the ship in January. The only other ship I’ve been on is Triumph. I hope I have fun.

That is the DJI Osmo. It is a four axis gimbal. Great for taking video with a cell phone. Keeps your shots very steady.

Hoping you rescheduled. You can down load Carnival Hub ap to your phone, enter booking number and info. Once logged in, you can view drinks available to deliver to your room, along with other items and excursions.
Cheap spa days are on shore days not sea days. As for Carnival standing behind watches sold on board it doesn’t happen that way down here in Australia. Carnival Australia said on board shops are leased out and not Carnivals responsibility.

Where do I find your advice about the Carnival Credit Card? Did I just make a BIG mistake?
We have the Carnival Credit card and use it to buy our cruises. We always make sure to pay them off in a few months but the double reward points makes it worth it. Also you get a percentage off of any excursions as well using it.
Very experienced Carnival cruiser here and you might want to tell them that spa services are VERY expensive and they hit you up at the end of paid services, seminars, free classes with high pressure sales. They are always trying to sell something and none if it is affordable. I bought a 60 minute massage and the first 10 minutes was changing and waiting for the person to start and the last 15 minutes was a sales pitch. So I actually only got about a 30 minute massage for 2 or 3x the price of them on land. Better to save your money and buy excursions with it.
Since I really don't do the spa... I don't know much on the subject. Expensive is only in comparison to what you normal pay I guess. My wife paid $140 for a 90 minute massage on our last cruise... At home, she has two different massage people that she sees... One is out of her home and pays $90 and one is in an upscale spa... she pays over $200. Which to compare it to?

Angie Campbell You have to carry them on. If you pack them, you will find they will no longer be in your suitcase when they arrive.

I think you got it backwards, it’s not the sea-day you get the spa bargain it’s the in port day.
just got back from a Caribbean cruise on the Glory. Great ship, just don't get room 2399. to noisy! not from the neighbors but from the ship it self.I thought the ham burgers were a bit greasy and the pizza was so thin you could read the news paper through it! the burrito's were bad also. I would go to the Deli for a good snack.Carnival also posted up new signs. Towels left on pool chairs more than 40 minutes will be removed. this is for the people who puts towels on pool chairs early in the morning and leave them there all day.

When you showed the water slide did you notice the person in the blue tube got stuck and had to push themselves down. Very common on these. Not enough water pressure in them. My son was very disappointed.
Its actually common at many regular water parks also... Just a part of the deal I guess...

I’m sorry but if you’re in jeans/shorts and a T-shirt on formal night, I give you the side eye and kind of judge you a bit. You don’t have to buy an expensive formal dress or suit. But if you can afford to go on a cruise, you can afford to go to Ross and get a cheap dress/slacks/button up shirt.

Carnival is pretty lax on the formal dress code. However when I went, the vast majority of people were dressed up for formal night.
My opinion? If you don’t want to dress up for formal night, go to the buffet for the night.

Sorry but that ship looks dated and a bit trashy.
It is a bit outdated, but it’s an older ship. You’re going to pay more to cruise on a newer, more up to date ship. Also keep in mind Carnival is more of a bargain cruise line. You get what you pay for.
That said, I sailed on this ship 2 years ago and had a great time.
