Did you know that you can create a dynamic facade based on your video using Grasshopper?! In this tutorial, we will show you how to animate movable facade panels that respond to every single frame of the video, giving your project a visually appealing effect.
In the extended video, we will be focused on rendering and animation with V-Ray. First, you will learn how to extract frames from the video using Photoshop. Then we will move to Vray where we will apply V-Ray materials to our geometry, add a V-Ray infinite plane and the lighting. After that, you will learn how to render multiple frames and on top of that, we are going to teach you simple tricks on how to create animation from rendered frames in Premiere Pro.

This can be done in after effects in like 5 mins. I build the wall in Rhino very quickly; export as obj; import obj in Ae; apply video to surface; done.

@@HowtoRhino There already are plenty. I was hoping I could do it *in* Rhino. Rhino is so frustrating to work with sometimes. I was knocking on Rhino, not you, lol. What you did should have only taken a few minutes and that is Rhino's fault, not yours. (BTW, I watched your whole video, it is really good.)
It is just too bad you can't add videos to surfaces (blender can, but I hate blender). There is no way to animate cameras in Rhino either (not the "walk through", fly thru, turntable stuff, that's not real animation of cameras and it is incredibly limited). If Rhino just had those two thing, it would be 1000x better.
@@VidarrKerr in fact you can animate cameras in Rhino, do walkthrough animations, fly through animation, exploded animations, axonometric animations, viewport animations etc. It's done with a plugin called Bongo, check it out :)
@@HowtoRhino Yeah, I did. It is $500 though. If it did what I needed easily, I would buy it. I did an evaluation of it for 90 days, but that was a while ago, like Rhino 7(?) w/ Bongo v2. Now, I have Rhino 8 and I also see they have a BETA Bongo v3.

Im using rhinoceros 7 and there is no wavebird mesh tool where can ı get this?
