- We're off roading our Ford Focus ST turning it into a green laning, stubble field shredder. Whilst the engine is off at the engine shop we're making a start on cutting out the arches fitting the over fenders and mocking up how this will roughly look once it's finished but the big question is... Will this work?.
Looking really good so far, I can't wait to see the next video.

Check the bore to make sure it’s not ovaled. The front to back measurement would be bigger than the side to side if it has. Yes you can sleeve the block, but to be honest replacing it would be more economic. Once you’ve done that it’s time to find those Kuga parts 🤔. Oh yes, strip the interior out and let it dry out whilst you’re not using it. Keep up the fun work.

With the engine you can buy duck tail linered block for the st/rs but you are looking at around £4,000
Or bd performance do just the block around 2k I think

they still crack liners even with the mod , you can get new uprated liners
Rather have is then not, they hardly crack with a mod

There I am looking to get my arch’s fixed and a painted job, and your just (neatly) hacking arch’s off 😢
It does look good tho, I had my money on piston rings. Guess not 🤷🏻♂️
It felt wrong doing it but once the arches were gone and the over fenders fixed in place it brought a guilty smile to my face 😅 I really think it’s going to looks pretty cool because it’s different.
I think the liner is past saving guess wel find out 🙈
