For me, it was because a truck dropped a brick in the road and I couldn't dodge it in time, so it blew out my tire and bent the inner tie rod. Symptoms included there being slop in the steering as well as slight but noticeable veering when driving and under torque. Also caused a popping sound when turning the wheel at a standstill to parking lot speeds.
I tried to find a part number online but didn’t see anything you may need to run by the dealership or see if you can grab one off a junker at the scrap yard.
Hey,I've been studying your 6.0 series..it's all I watch, way better than teleivision..you can't make them long enough!..I also own a 2007 FordFocus..(300,300 mi.) Best car I ever owned....did you get 6.0 running yet?I'm looking for cylinder heads and can't seem to find exactly what I want..it has to be right...only want to do once..I have crosshatching in all cyls..but a rear one has a lot of snot near the top like baked on ..I hope it can be cleaned off..the truck sat for 5years..is it normal for the cyls to kind of widen near the top..
@@RichardAlexander-ym7uw better than television? Wow thanks brother appreciate that. Yeah I got my 6.0 excursion up and running had an issue with the new hpop and one of the injectors which I will go over on the next video. That video will be out this Sunday February 13th. As far as snot are talking about the little bit of carbon at the top of the cylinder wall?
Thank you brother, I need to do mine soon and you just saved me a boatload of time and money.
Saved myself $430 by watching this vid and doing it myself. Thanks a ton, great instruction and camera work :)
Great video man, nice break down on this ST focus.
You should be getting a lot more love for your content. This and the lower ball joint vid boosted my confidence to do the work myself. Thank you 🙏🏽
Why did you change the tie rods? What symptoms was it showing that they should be replaced?

Hey man! Any chance you know if it’s possible to purchase those internal spacers that go on the inner tie rod?
