I would like to see videos in a shootout style, rests, peeps, sights, arrows, components and so on. I love Mondays when you, Tim and Dan putting out content on the tube! Keep it up!
Great review ! I just put that rest on my Mathews Vertix after shooting the Vapor trail for 4 years I had a major breakage of the main housing. The Hamskea Everest tuned in great ! Very quiet as well. Excellent hunting rest...
What I would like to see you test. Take 6 204 vic rip arrows cut to your length put 60 gr stock ss inserts and 100 gr field tip. All right out of the box thats all. Shoot a 5 spot target at 20 yrds, 60 arrows, keep score and x count. Take 6 hunting arrows of your choice and build a set of custom arrows. Bare shaft, nock tune, paper tune, spine align, vains, inserts etc. Shoot a 5 spot target at 20 yrds, 60 arrows, keep score and x count. Then compare the scores to see how much difference there is. Have your buddy Tim do the same.
I'd like to see a video on how to properly time prime bows,as you know cams are different sizes. To compensate for Berger hole being higher on primes as more bow mass lower.Happy Trails.
Id love to see a series on targets, in the market for a new target, however dont wanna spend an arm and a leg on a 365 target, even tho i know itll last me years.
I would like to see a video comparing Hamskea vs QAD. I have QADs on my bows and I want to see what are the Pro and Cons and what the differences are. Also you said you have a mount for the Hamskea, could you make a video on that.
An older Podcast MFJJ mentioned how a cable driven rest (QAD) can affect the tune of your bow because of how it’s attached to the cable, while the Hamskea limb driven rest doesn’t. There are also videos of people putting a piece of D-Loop material (w/ core string removed) on the top half of their cable to tune their bow instead of overturning the cable in the press. Just my observations.
I've had an HDX and an Epsilon. They both get the job done. QAD is lighter, does everything you need and lets you lock it upright before you draw. Hamskea gives you more freedom to fine tune if that's your thing, and is easier to fix on the go. Each has their own weaknesses. I find that for lighter arrows, QAD is easy enough to work with. But if you like heavy arrows and lighter bows you might need the QAD, because the tongue on the Hamskea can bend a bit under heavy load. However, if the bow doesn't jump or bounce during the shot you'll have no issues with the Hamskea. The only time the tongue might bounce or bend normally is if you run really long arrows like with turkey heads or something. QAD is harder to fine tune but not impossible. Compared to the Hamskea it handles lower draw weights better, but higher draw weights worse. That's just in terms of messing with the tune and keeping the tune.
I'll probably be swapping out my Trinity for one of these on my new Lift. The Trinity is great but it's so damn bulky and with the Mathews bracket I really don't need the micro adjust.
MFJJ , Buddy.. The fact you are stating that you are trying to make adjustments according to the comments is HUGE.. Likely a factor in your success, ear to the ground brother !
Question if I may, I put an everest on my new bow and wondering what I gave up with the micro-adjust? It bolted up and immediately shot bullet holes. What am I missing for the need for the feature?
I see the commander series bows are roughly 200 bucks cheaper than the core series for this year. But haven’t seen any videos or announcements of the launch. What’s up with this line? Is it considered flagship and what are the differences? I see it still has deadlock. What makes this bow so much cheaper and why isn’t it talked about?
I want to buy anew bow, I shoot 60-63 lbs and don't know if I should buy a 70 lbs or 60 lbs bow,. Can you do a comparison on 60 lbs bow maxed out to 60 vs 70 lbs bow turned down to 60lbs?
You didn't even mention the best part of the rest. It has a micro adjustable launcher. You don't have to mess with those tiny washers to change launcher position anymore.
Not as good of a rest as an Epsilon. My hope is that QAD will take the universal mount MXT and make it limbdriven. I would switch from Hamskea instantly. Otherwise, the Epsilon will be my rest.
Seems like every drop away rest I have bought and used started making noise after a year or so as all I do is hunt. Threw on an old 15 year old WB the other day and as accurate as with drop away
Still waiting on a video or two of you shooting a 2” reflex vs 3” reflex and actually shooting the difference between the two…based on your lift tuning video….you CAN’T and WON’T shoot the difference.

Just wanted to add. Thanks for all yall do. Love the channel!

I would love to see you do a couple revues on the Trophytaker X-Treme Pro
LOCKUP CLICK cable driven and limb driven compared to the Hamski.

Not being able to adjust the rest with the standard wrench set is why I bailed for this year on hamskea. Especially on the Hoyt.
No comment on the macro shots Brandon??
I like the silent intro
Thank for all the great information Always great videos
Like to see a review on the new bowtech commander 👍🏻
Would like to see you review an Athens axis bow.

They're out there, just search it
Would you ever review an APA bow?

Great rest, very simple

I love my Hamskea primer!
When is your fletching jig coming out
Bowtech Commander review coming soon?
Can you do a review on the zingers fletching .
So I should keep my trinity? Looks like it.
You mentioned in one of your recent videos about being able to shoot a shorter than normal arrow shaft..can you elaborate with a video?
Thoughts on which drop away rest you would recommend for the new Lift....Thanks
Can you do a complete RX8 Ultra build as if you were going to shoot it?
Ok You got me u &ucks ... i just ordered your last Arizona ez fletch left !! 😂😂 it starts
Nice rest..!!

Just got. Working great 👍

Do they make a bracket to adopt the QAD MX 2 to an elite?
SAME THING BASICALLY AS THE HAMSKEA OVERDRAW BRACKET?
Thanks

Shooting and tuning would have been nice..
Put on Prime Rize you won't be using the middle holes Josh..
opening audio?

Ahhhhh yeah. I’ve used Qad since 2001. Hard to switch.
You have to try new stuff... I've had both and prefer the epsilon. You can convert it into a target rest in minutes.. which I like.
I still think the trinity is a better rest

I can't not have micro adjust
