It's cool how Sam (Splinter Cell) and Solid Snake are remembered but it sucks how Gabe Logan (Syphon Filter) is kinda forgotten. I would really love for these 3 badass characters to make a cameo together.
@@mkaplan1383 I remembered that when I was kid when playing Logan's Shadow. I was pretty annoyed about that. And sadly after that, no more Syphon Filter games AT ALL after Logan's Shadow, which just bugs me.
After the ghost recon Easter egg. This now has gotten alot more sad... when he mentions Sam here it's funny. But when Sam mention Snake , it's just filled with dread.

I really do love this Snake vs Monkey intro....it was their fun way of having Solid Snake in the game even though he's not in the main story at all. In a way, you could say he really was on vacation ;)
You know it's amazing to think how people back in the days used to have an opinion that syphon filter was a rip off of metal gear, but now, 15 years later, phantom pain was brought in, how phantom snake uses adrenaline in hospital the first mission (which is similar to how Lian Xing survived being captured in syphon filter 2) and how metal gear 4 explains nano machines similar to syphon filter virus (in syphon filter 1) I'd say both sides didnt rip each other off, they inspired one another

The events in each timeline would conflict with the other too much. Besides as much as I like the fan service and respect these two franchises give one another, I'd prefer they stay separate.
