Thanks for reviewing this. They constantly pop up as advertisements in my FB feed, and I didn't know anything about them, but that they looked really nice
Fair review; I got the quartz blue concordia on the blue strap at a 50 € discount and it proves an excellent daily wear piece. Really like the 4x quartz :) In view of that, the price for the automatic version does seem high.
Great video.....agree on all points. The 38mm quartz is the one to go for. Good grab and go, water resistant watch. I had been looking for a white dial and this is great. With discounts found, came in around $300.
Hmmm....looks like the same Charlie Paris Concordia from several years ago, but about 30% more expensive. I predict these things will be available on the secondary market for under $500 within a year. Thanks for an honest, no b.s. review.
No problem! We aren’t ones that title reviews “best diver ever! You need to buy this now” etc. just a review of the watch for what it is. Thanks for watching!
i recently contacted with them and Julia replied that it is possible to change caseback to "true" steel one with Pole Sud Expedition Arctique written on it (it is more toolish, imho than open saphire).
I used to own a quartz Concordia and yeah the steel bracelet is really cheap and not comfortable at all. I would not buy this automatic version as it is indeed too expensive considering the specs (you can have so much more for that amount of money in other brands) but would definitely buy again this white dial in quartz. The seiko sweep second is really cool to watch.
I recently purchased a pre owned mint condition Charlie paris quartz Expedition with the Seiko VH 31 movement. I bought for under 200 dollars, I have a very nice aftermarket leather strap on it. I like quartz because I am rather adept at battery changes. I have some Seiko automatic & some Sellitta movements, in my working class income. I do not buy watches to impress anybody, my criteria is when I glance at it does it make me smile, this one does I like it. I do agree 100% with the review, they are over priced, and the metal strap is garbage. The truth is I only own one watch that regularity gets some attention, that is the Bulova Space View UFO. The vast majority of people, couldn't care less, what watch one wears so please yourself.
Why should someone buy a $900 watch from a microbrand that without any special design? Even no design on their brand logo, that font on the watch dial, OMG, is that the default one when I open word?

What are thoughts? Should they have used a different case design or finish, or would you opt for a better bracelet? Or is this one perfect for you?

Thanks for your input and feedback. Always good to hear from customers and owners and their thoughts on a piece.

🤷♂️
Looks pretty bland and too expensive. Not for me.
Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍
Their cases all look pretty much the same and these watches cost too much. Brand name should have been CHARLOT
