I hadn't been to Gaydon until until September 2022. Always wanted to go for years and finally made it happen. Then went twice this year. Its a great museum and the exhibits change. Then with the annual pass for your ticket price makes for good value if your not too far away. The Ford Granada there also had rare leather seats in a mk1. I think the ltd edition Sapphire had them? Roy Chubby Brown owned one he used to live just up the road from me. The TRX wheels i think were 365mm?
You never have enough time when visiting.
I love the Tangerine Jensen FF.
Great video cant get enough of this museum.👍

We are in Leeds. Too far for an annual ticket, tempting though it was. Yes, great place, loved it! Can't remember the TRX size only that a very limited number of tyre companies made them. Michelin was one.

20:50 A lot of people misunderstand the McLaren nomenclature, often wondering why there's no "MP5" or MP6" etc.
Ron Dennis founded Project 4 racing back in the 1970s and then went on to manage the McLaren F1 team and decided to squeeze a reference to his own racing team into the car names via the "MP4" (McLaren/Project 4) prefix so ALL the cars were "MP4"s and it's the bit after the MP4 prefix that indicates the model - in this case a 12C.
On an almost entirely unrelated note, I happened to be browsing the Autotrader website the other day and noticed a "Vauxhall Viva" for sale, only to find that Vauxhall are now building a little shopping-trolley-thing under the "Viva" name.
Lordy! how desperate for a bit of nostalgia must Vauxhall be to bring back the "Viva" name?
Next we'll have a revived Rover bringing out a new "Marina".

Well, Dodge got away with it with the Charger and Challenger but seriously, the new Ford Capri? And obviously the Viva . . . Not the Viva I remember!

@@sleepycatpictures1176 See, I don't really "mind" the new Capri... at least insofar as it's all we could expect.
Most worrying thing is that it's an SUV because, as I'm starting to realise, car manufacturers are determined to sell us SUVs because they can't fit all the electric gubbins into a coupe or a hatchback.
