I think I would probably use the under seat storage mostly, but I would have the saddle bags, too, for extra storage. Also they need to design a bag for the space behind the seat bar and in front of the light assembly. If they don't already have one. I can see Chase Harper is the way to go for the Ruk.
Just got a 2022 Ruckus for the Mrs to join me on my 2021 CRF300L! She LOVES it! Her Chase Harper under seat just arrived and OMG! I have never seen such quality in a very long time! It’s going in tomorrow! One of the first things I did (in prep for the seat bag) is make a small cable with an eye on one end. This eye is just long enough to reach the helmet lock with the bitter end compressed by the bolt that holds the seat hook. Just for a little security to keep prying eyes away, we lock the eye of the wire at the helmet lock and this stops the seat from being lifted! It can be adjusted in the closed position by loosening the bolt on the bottom of the seat holding the latch and pulling the bitter end of the cable. After some farting around it is now set so the seat will not move more than half an inch! Sure, it won’t stop a determined thief but will be A good deterrence for opportunists! Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for sharing this. It’s a great overview. Did you find anything different out about that under seat strap that interferes with the latch or is that aspect just poor design?
Just recently (after my wife smoked me in a race) I took off the saddle bags and readjusted the underseat storage bag and I'm just using that bag currently. I was incorrect about the back velcro strap. It does not interfere with the hinge. It only gets in the way when the saddle bags are mounted. The front velcro strap by the seat clasp is really the biggest problem but you can kind of shove it over to the side to make it work. These all are great, high quality bags and my wife bought the very same barrel bag and underseat storage back for her new Ruckus. I will use the saddle bags for longer trips when I need them. Bottom line, I highly recommend these bags.
First I’ve heard of Kemimoto. Chase Harper came up first in my search and I liked the looks of them and they’re good quality. Very happy with their customer service as well.
Reminds me, when way younger, when we had a "doddle bug". Now, for older folks. What fun, and for penny's.

Honda should have made the under the seat storage area with plastic for waterproof. I was curious about under the seat bags
They’re good bags and made in the USA.
You should add foot pegs to the frame..... makes the riding experience better. I put. Bicycle pegs on mine. Best $10 I ever spent

Thanks for the comment and security tip! Happy riding!
Great video! My saddlebags should be here today.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Stay safe out there.
Need a rear tail rack
I think u got them backwards, I would spin them around put thiner part saddle bags towards front
I just followed the pictures I saw. But aerodynamically speaking you are probably right.
I cut the extra leghnth velcro off side straps, also you really don't need those second set side straps
I like the Ruckus but that wasted underseat space is the first thing I would fix.
Would you cut down on wind resistance if you turned your saddlebags around?
Seems the wide sides are forward.
Anyway, love the set-up.
I often wondered the same but don’t think they look as good.
Nice system thanks for sharing have a great day
I'd add a moped helmet box on the rear. I'd add a wind screen and foot pp dogs.
Where did you acquire the alarm?
From Amazon. It is the "wsdcam 113dB Bike Alarm Wireless Vibration Motion Sensor Waterproof Motorcycle Alarm with Remote" costs about $17.

I have that same bag and I have the same problem with the strap
Used the bag again today and posted a video on my other channel. I'm pretty fond of it.
Привет я из России, город Воронеж. У меня тоже ZOOmer, Смотрю твои видео, приятно
Thank you!

Just ordered the under seat and round one. I'm going to check those out before I get the side saddles.
I stopped using the saddle bags. They look cool but found that I never really needed anymore than the underseat storage offered.
did you consider Kemimoto products instead of Chase Harper?
First I’ve heard of Kemimoto. Chase Harper came up first in my search and I liked the looks of them and they’re good quality. Very happy with their customer service as well.
What kind of alarm is that?
That is the Wsdcam 113dB bike alarm. I think it was around $18 when I bought it.
Thanks!
Too bad there are no inner bags. Would make packing and removal of goodies so much easier.
Yiu can get inner bags (backpacker or travel bags)
I've used re-useable grocery bags before. Works fine.
Seriously? Chase Harper needs to redesign the straps locations...Other brand is far better.
This video was a while ago. With use this isn’t as big a deal as it used to be. Pretty happy with the quality.
You could dump 6 large milk jugs in that under seat bag and get a little hose and have milk all week while driving ? I need that for my 2020 ruckus
Slide your alarm in the battery box...harder for theives to find it when they are in a hurry.
Lots of places to hide them. *under the tank is the best, but takes more effort when the batteries die.
looks like a great scooter for doing uber eats.
Plenty do it. Do a YT search for Wilcer.
Which alarm did you use or what type? Thanks
Sorry man. Can’t remember off hand. Might have mentioned it sometime, if so it would be an earlier video.
