Good morning sir, I have the 2022 Monkey and it too has a 5 speed gear box and the oil filter unlike the prior years. Have a great Thanksgiving, keep up the videos.

On a 5 speed grom with a 75kg rider, ridding super gently with not much stop and go and speed in the 35mph ( 50km/h ) indicated, the on board computer was showing avrage of just about 150mpg for one tank ( good portion of it ) . At the gas pump that also calucated within few % same provided that oldometer is correct... which seemed like within 2-3 %.

I bought a 2023 Honda Monkey in June and the 5 speed has gears well spaced and am very happy with it. This is my first motorcycle and at 80 decided to start ridding and really enjoy it and got my motorcycle endorsement . If feel that a gear indicator is useless. So have been ridding the bike for a little over a year and a half and have added a T-Rex racing windshield, center stand and rear rack with a top box. It is light and easy to ride. Normally cruise at 50 mph and get between 114 and 140 mpg. They changed the bore and stroke for 2022-2023.

I did it with a genuine 50cc bore to a 70cc but I did a one way to 180 miles

I rode my latest Monkey home from the dealers 70 miles away at mostly full throttle and high speeds. I just changed the oil and checked the valves early. They are great off road as well. The most fun bike ever!

Good info sir. Thank you for the detailed results of your test. While mini-motos aren't for me, I still enjoy seeing them and learning about them. I've found that in my 2nd childhood, small bore engines do it for me. Either ya love 'em or hate 'em. Finding one that fits can make a huge difference in the fun factor. Those Groms fill a good void as evidenced by their popularity.

Do you feel safe on the highway/freeway on the grom?

I use mine to commute from work and short trips to save wear and tear on my truck

Great video! Quick question, do I screw the engine block bolt back in before filling the radiator, or wait until new fluid comes out the opening and then re-screw the bolt?

Hey Don, thanks for the vlogs. I like live streams, however, I rarely get the notifications ontime, end up watching live stream on the reruns. I lol to myself, wondered if a Ruckus could out run a dog,. Off topic: I have a 2023 grom, which been wanting to trade up for something faster - been considering the Suzuki Burgman or a supermoto 300-400cc.

Once you ride one, you can't but fall in love with them. Keep the great work, yes i would love see a live stream. Please have a fantastic weekend

I was noticing the drive-by shots. They look cool but look like they would be a lot of trouble to do. Set the Insta360 and tripod in place, turn on, drive away, drive past, then come back to get the camera and tripod if it hasn't been stolen. It's cool, but I would understand if you didn't want to do that. You probably know Sincloth702, he does several of live streams a week, and it seems to help grow his channel. Stay safe!

The Ruckus, making a ruckus, nice! When you travel on roads that don’t have a lot of signals or stop signs, you can definitely cover some distances making good time, even though you’re on a 50cc. The scenery was very cool. It’s nice when the two of you can have a good time riding together.✌️🇺🇸
