If any of you gentleman are seeking to donate any of those to a needy household that could really make use and help out amidst this pandemic. Currently, we own a 06 Rav4 2.4 with 310,000mi. The shocks all round are shot, so it looks like we are riding around on hydraulics full time with all the constant bouncing with no rebound. The battery died 2 months ago, so replaced then a week later the alternator died. So again replaced that with one from a used car part lot. Then the check engine light came on and is indicating that the catalytic converter is causing high exhaust pressure, though it was running a little sluggish it worked...... Until.... now just yesterday when trying to take the Mrs to bring her ID and paperwork into her new job, the car now refuses to crank. Checked the relays, checked continuity all the way to the starter all seems okay. However when trying to give the starter a whack, I very slightly moved one of the coolant hoses and caused the very brittle heater hose to the engine block to the water pump "T" connector, to break and lose most of the coolant. So I replaced the T adaptor in hopes beating on the starter motor would work.... low and behold, it did, only a couple times and now the car just refuses to crank. We honestly, just don't have the money to keep pouring into this car anymore. We both were managers at the same restaurant (OldCountry/hometown buffet - now all stores equipment now being auctioned off) We both were furloughed in March for 7 months, then our Restaurant opened for a mere 3 weeks just to be told corporate have decided to furlough us again for 2 weeks so they can come us with a better strategy to increase business. That was 2 months ago.... We both found out through the grape vine about the auction, our employer, still hasn't informed us they will be letting us go and no one answers the phone at corporate to answer our questions. Even though their intentions are quite obvious. Luckily tho, since we learned of our now permanent job loss we both luckily landed new jobs and will both be starting in the next week. The problem is, we only have the one vehicle and that has ultimately cost us more problems than its likely worth at the moment and we just don't have the funds to get the issues the car has and also the cost to get the thing properly safe again like some brakes that don't shudder due to warped rotors, the suspension that causes the tires to literally bounce 3-4 times when hitting small imperfections in the road surface. Needless to mention, the timing belt is probably way overdue by now, too. Honestly I could keep going on and on. Oh and water heater almost burned down our apartment too when the tank leaked onto the lower heater thermostat wiring and caused a smoldering short circuit. So we have that too, to deal with. I don't know if any of you will read this, but I love your vids, don't comment much at all (not my usual style) but today I saw this and could really use a secret Santa this year, even if it is just a sub 1000$ vehicle. Doesn't matter the color, the transmission, the age or style. Just so long as its got more life left in it than our current vehicle. I'd be happy to furnish any proof of the hardship we've been going thru, also. But if there's someone out there that could make better use of a car than we could, help them out instead, please. I just know that if we had a more reliable car right now, I wouldn't have to worry about having to get myself and my girlfriend to our new jobs via taxi (thus causing further expense and another setback) To be honest, we don't have the liquid funds to afford 20$ rides each way ×2, 5-6 days a week until we get paid even. Omg, how my life sucks right now to think of the uphill battle we have ahead of us, never mind the rent we are going to have to somehow struggle to come up with. Shoot, I can't even get onto postmates now since our car is stationary in its current condition, which was what was helping to keep our heads barely above water. Forgive me for the longest comment ever, ever.... Either way, Happy Holidays to everyone out there reading this. I hope your struggle hasn't been any worse than ours has. And if it has, we have you in our prayers, if you need a couch to crash on, come on over. We don't have much but what we do have, if we can help anyone in anyway we do. Anyway, stay safe peoples! And please, please don't send those cars to a demolition derby, you'll straight make a grown man cry...
Tyler, thank you for a year of smiles, laughs and a few cringes, even tears at your memories of your grandmother! Merry Christmas to you and those you love! Cheers from Canada
As someone who grew up in a wheelchair... and needed a lift van growing up... i had a champaign color'd 95 Ford Waldoch Conversion Van w/lowered floor and wheelchair lift. The thing was a fucking TANK.. big V8 in it (that was before i knew anything about engines and so i'm not sure what type of V8, but it was a huge beefy speed demon for as massive and heavy that thing was. But the point of me saying any of this is i absolutely LOVE the color on that Van u gave away there. And it just brought back fond memories of my Van. Despite how eager i was to get rid of it and move on past the wheelchair lift thing. (havnt had one since, but choose 2 take my chair apart n throw in back seat of my sedans). I prefer'd my 3 series i had for 13 years, over the van. But that van NEVER EVER EVER EVER.. broke down on me, or gave me ANY problems. EVER... that ... is until... i stop'd driving it once i turned 18 n bought my BMW. I always thought along the lines of Toy Story and that all things have feelings and shit... and it pained me 2 ignore my van the way i did.. and i felt it was being temper mental at times having the alarm go off randomly. But.. now look'n back n think'n about it, n having ppl break into my van n steal shit from me.... i bet ppl were trying 2 do that at that time n just triggered the alarm. N i just thought it was being manic. Who knows.
I was curious for the better part of the video if there was such a thing as a homeless car dealer, then when he arrived I'm fairly sure he said Euro Asian Bob, and then it all made sense
@Hoovie Here's the most likely reason for the Town Car heater hose thing: Common issue for water to be in passenger floor. Caused by air vent from outside taking in water and leaves and overflowing into car. Most likely some mechanic decided the heater core leaked and bypassed that hose instead of cleaning vent which is correct fix. I bet in the rain or under a long carwash water will enter the car currently.

The third, possibly most important reason, is that I have been told never to have a car with an airbag for health reasons, and being a very early production 1990, Arthur is the newest car in Canada without an airbag.
@@michaeltutty1540 What's the health reason for not having an airbag?
@@user-rc2ko6vi2w the unbreathable smoke that fills the cabin immediately, followed by your lungs. Also, the shrapnel that comes out of newer Takata POS airbags. Additionally, the burn marks that are on your arms touching the steering wheel when the airbag suddenly inflates. Additionally, if you are wearing your seat belt properly, the airbag does nothing for you unless you are in a total POS that crumbles in on itself or impacting at an insane speed where you might be better off dead anyway. I guess maybe your face might be recognizable. Front airbags are insanely stupid garbage. Try one out and you'll know instantly why.
"I'm not doing this to be nice" He's doing it for youtube rev lmao.
Hoovie not being upside down on five seperate hoopties at once.
It's a friggin' 2020 miracle y'all
"I'm Hooptie-Opra." - this is pure gold. Thanks a lot for doing what you do, Tyler Hoover!
This was unbelievable fun to watch. Who would have thought that Wichita had such a chill group of car TH-camrs?
That Buick Park Avenue Ultra in Maroon is absolutely Beautiful!
“ Basically, I’m *Hooptie Oprah* “ 😩💀
You get a car and you get a car everyone gets a car.
Put it on a shirt, now!
That hangar is GORGEOUS.
Also - the black ice air freshener in the focus sealed the deal. Rich Rebuild approved.
"I smell antifreeze, Ninja."
It's a Ford. Of course you smell antifreeze.
Doug: waves arms frantically while telling you about cars & bids

I don't know why I got so much joy in hearing them talk good things about the focus, after my last car blew up I just got a similar year focus for $2k with only 23k miles. (due to covid and SOS not being open it's been sitting at my parents) but it's great to hear people talk nice about my "shit box"
I really wanted Ninja to have that Lincoln Town Car. And Hoovie nice gifts for your friends, you are a man with a big heart 💞
Finally the Wizard / Ninja collab we all waited for
I honestly think the van is the best for comfort storage and hauling also travelling van hands down nice deep dish wheels or old dish gmc truck wheels and any nice wrap over the paint an light nnice legal tints witt bumper bar side steps and tow bar with spot lights 4 them on bumper bar not on roof thats my opinion and wat id do with it
“My friend Urination Bob”
that's what I heard too
Lol...you beat me to it
euroasian bob.
Better not give him the upholstery job...
Oh shit! He *wasn't* saying that?!? Lol
Who was more unenthusiastic: Ninja with this Buick or Tyler’s wife with the BMW convertible?
"Urination Bob" Just confirmed your Golden shower of Profits!
Tyler: Have you ever owned a Towncar??
Ninja: *Wincing*...I've never owned an AMERICAN car.
He might finally understand what a reliable car is😉😂
@@terminal_veloster986 no one puts American and reliable in the same sentence lol. I guess besides those boats.

"Urination Bob" coming through in the clutch.
Lol
I heard the same and came to the comments to check 🤣
Glad I wasn't the only one who heard that lol...
lol.
Crutch!
26:20 Wizard: "Looks like the heater hose over here is spraying - it's leaking"
Hoovie: "Oh no..."
Ninja: "Oh yeah"
😂 Jake was pondering the whole way to the wizards how he could get that Ultra out of this 😂
And ninja was trying to figure out how quickly he could dump it.
Hoovie wrapped an entire van and I can't even wrap a small box.
He wrapped that first. Then used car covers for the others.
his wife for sure wrapped the cars. no man can wrap a christmas gift right.
Same with me lol.
Gift bags are the heroes of the holiday season
pathetic less comments more time practicing wrapping GRASSHOPPER
💯♥️
Hoovies should do a video like this every 6 months. I always come back to this video every now and then. Cool video and everyone made an appearance in it
"Urination Bob, pissing car sales excellence since 1992."
Hoovie! I call dibs on the Town car. We are retired and love older Town cars and would be willing to drive from Indianapolis to wherever you are to pick it up. I would offer to reimburse you for everything you have invested in the car plus a little something extra.
I absolutely love Statler and Waldorf up there on the balcony laughing at us. Dohohohohohoh.
Thanks a ton Hoovie and Ninja! This Buick will be happy it met me.
Enjoy it buddy.
@@johnnykaraj6115 I need a $1,000 Hooptie for a daily driver, but the transporter fee from KS to Detroit is gonna kill my budget. Road salt eats the cars up here.

I'm working on my routine now....
Can we just get a God Bless to The Wizard and Car Ninja for immediately thinking about paying the vehicles forward. We all know how great these guys are!!
Loved this episode. Reminded me of the old top gear old used car challenges with Clarkson, Hammond and May.
11:30 That face the ninja made.... priceless! 🤣
Nobody at all:
Wizard: “Just 5 more minutes!”
🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
wonder what he was doing there haha
When the van is rocking, dont forget the nocking!
Always check the suspension!

He is a great person!
"Euro Nation Bob" will be pleased to know that, in addition to all of us, even TH-cam's auto-generated subtitle system thinks he's "urination bob".
Brian Ashe it’s euro-Asian. It’s the name of his shop that fixes European and Asian cars.
Isnt hoovie saying Urination-Bob? Could have fooled me! 😂 🤦🏼♂️
@@CadgerChristmasLightShow Yeah, I eventually found that out after watching several more videos, and that Hoovie *was* being deliberate in his pronunciation. :-)
Alternative title: Hoovie "gifts" repair problems to his "friends"
Lmao
They could sell them for a 1.5k to 2k for a quick sale. I would call that a good gift. Plus it's a video idea not a real Christmas present .
The gift that keeps on giving and giving,, sadly headaches and misery.
69th like, NOICE
The look on Ninjas face when he sat in the park avenue! LoL
Oh my gosh. This show is so much better than anything on TV. I think Hoovie is a solid stand up guy.
The “Broke My Wallet” BMW naturally tops out the repair estimates for all five hoopties.
I really dig the spirit of this channel. Such a friendly and positive place. :)
My parents had an Ultra , just like that, loved it. Especially the supercharger, they had 4 of them. Much better than the v8 Lucernes
Car Ninja : “I trust your judgement “🗿
Tyler, thank you for a year of smiles, laughs and a few cringes, even tears at your memories of your grandmother!
Merry Christmas to you and those you love! Cheers from Canada
This was a fun watch. Somehow that Van is just a perfect fit for Wizard. It looks like it was made for him.
I expected some dramatic music when Wizard said, “I smell antifreeze Ninja!” Like a buddy cop show.
Ninja deserves to have a TH-cam channel someday.
He has one Velocity Garage its linked in the pinned comment
I love the Carwizard. Such a genuine guy. He's gifted a nice van and immediatley thinks of helping someone else.
"When that Van's a Rockin, Don't come a Knockin!"
Would have been funny to see Wizard and Mrs. Wizard exiting the van!
“How hot are we talking”
“Warm” lol
That poor guy got 2 cars stolen from him in the game
The next day: wakes up and his car is gone again
i don't understand it either...
"Yours is much larger." Lol at the flashlight talk. These guys have good chemistry.
Not nice to talk about his girth that way. 🤭
I love the flex with the Murci and the Merc on either side of the gifts!
And that warehouse. Hoovie's new man cave?
that was fun. glad to hear Wizard and Ninja are finding good homes with people who need a decent ride . Merry Christmas everyone
Ninja: "I've never had an *American* car..."
Hoovie & Wizard: well then you are probably going to be mighty pleased with Thissss....
I love ninjas face when he gets into the last car lol. It's like when your parents force you into a car U don't want lol
Who knows.
The vans a rocking ..
wizard is taking off her stocking..
Nice to see the whole Gang on one episode. Your friends seem Fun. God Bless
Wow ! I would have been happy with any of those cars !!! 🔥 thats awesome of you to give your friends pretty cool gifts. Merry Christmas everybody !
Anyone else notice the “Urination Bob”?
I was curious for the better part of the video if there was such a thing as a homeless car dealer, then when he arrived I'm fairly sure he said Euro Asian Bob, and then it all made sense
The ninja looked pissed getting a Buick lol...
@Hoovie Here's the most likely reason for the Town Car heater hose thing:
Common issue for water to be in passenger floor. Caused by air vent from outside taking in water and leaves and overflowing into car.
Most likely some mechanic decided the heater core leaked and bypassed that hose instead of cleaning vent which is correct fix.
I bet in the rain or under a long carwash water will enter the car currently.
Tyler said "urination bob" too funny
Seems appropriate given this collection of Hoopties...
This was one of your best ideas (and videos) in a while, Tyler. Well done!!
Seeing the Wizard & Ninja combine their powers on inspections makes me feel all warm and fuzzy this Christmas.
Why everyone do the ninja like that 😂
