Lol I love that Skip The Fade is your introductory mod, because I just recently made it my first mod on a game ever 😂 The fade is worth playing...once. The mod makes the overall pacing better. Thanks for the info, this will help me a lot with working with non dazip content. 🤘
Just picked up Ultimate Ed earlier this month, so I'm just beginning to get into all of this. Subscribed so I know what the hell I'm doing when I decide to start fooling around with the mods for this game.
Hey i have a question if you have a moment. I had this manager when i had windows 7 and it worked perfectly and it was simple. but i stopped playing for a while and i got windows 10 now i can download it got a zip. put it into the same area you did. i can install the mod to the mod manager but it does not get to the game. could you help please?
okay, fixed that.. but i tried this mods reloaded... but umm not sure how you can search for anything. everything i click on comes up with errors of some sort. Unless I go to the forums but they don't have anything except people asking about stuff
I have tried every way under the sun but the nexus does not seem to have dazip file formats anymore, it is all manual download files and most of them are not dazip or overides. So I assume you just have to go through and install them one at a time manually into the folder?
Hey man, i picked up the ultimate ed too. When i install the Manager i don't see the DLC's listed on the official part. is that a bad sign, perhaps the DLC's haven't registered on steam? *scrap that i just found out about Origin registration a such*
So mine doesn not download like that. When I download the manager there is no files. Its just a bunch of scripts that make no sense when I try to open it. Just got a brand new MSI laptop. Not experienced with MODs at all. Can someone help?
Thanks for this video but it didn't help me solve my problem. This is my problem. I get how to install mods {I think} once DAmodder is installed but I don't understand how to install it. So I click on the link on nexus, go to damodder, click download manually and I get a screen on bottom of my computer saying open file or save file or cancle.... but no mater what I do nothing downloads. I just get a file the has the modder in it with a bug file and 3 other files.... I am not sure what to do next...??? I have given up for the night as I have been trying to figure this out for 5 hours now and I am just to frustrated to keep trying. Please help me. what step am I missing?
Thanks for the tutorial. I need some serious help, though. I downloaded DAMM, and a .override mod, however when I go to install the mod it says "could not find a part of the path C:\users\eric\documents\bioware\dragon age\settings\damodmanager_override.xml." I create the settings subfolder, which wasn't originally there, but the .xml file isn't anywhere on my computer. I can't find any fix for this anywhere on the internet. Please help!
This was really helpful, but what about non ".dazip" files? For instance, what you showed didn't work with ".tnt" or ".mao" files. How would I install mods like that?
Anyone know a mod manager that actually f'ing works? DAModder just throws errors, no settings and no clue what the error is supposed to mean. DAO Mod Manager does nothing and has no instructions, written by someone that doesn't understand english.
Haii! I have a question, okay so I downloaded modded hairs into the game and downloaded the mods called vibrant colors then when I loaded the game the hairs didn't show up so I realized that the vibrant colors mod was the reason for this so I uninstalled it but out of the three hairs I downloaded only one of them appeared. So then I decided to delete the ones that show up and loaded the game to see if the others appeared and its now invisible. I don't really know how to fix this problem. I'm very knew to this whole modding thing. I would like some help ☺️ plss
all these mods are confusing AF. it keeps telling me to download a million things, then download a million things for those million things to start working
OMG! The absolute BEST fast and easy tutorial still today. Thank you so much man!
Thank you Xuul as this video is very helpful and I can't wait for the other parts of the series.
I'm new to modding Origins, and this video helped a lot. You made it simple and straightforward without extraneous bullshit. Thank you.
Mate you are a God send. Been trying to mod this for a couple of days and you just show me the best and easiest way to do it in five mins 👍 thankyou
The good old days of tutorials

Question:
Does it matter if I install the same mod manager you installed, or the mod manager by Altorian?
Just picked up Ultimate Ed earlier this month, so I'm just beginning to get into all of this. Subscribed so I know what the hell I'm doing when I decide to start fooling around with the mods for this game.
Thanks! If you have any issues installing mods just let me know i'd be happy to help

Thank you. I was struggling on what to do. Even tried that beta easyer manager thingy but it made no sense.
just a question, does it run better and are you able to install mods without errors like how nexus has the zip error?

Can you link me the mods you used?
+Xuul actually I got it to work now!! But thank you for helping!!😊
when i download skip the fade it shows it as a unknown version
why is it that everyone suggests DAO Mod Manager is there a reason not to use Nexus Mod Manager?
+EmceeSchw3pp3 Some mods are designed to work with DAO and NMM will not let them work properyly
+Xuul it wont allow me to do what your doing
god bless this video thank you
all these mods are confusing AF. it keeps telling me to download a million things, then download a million things for those million things to start working
