  • Copper Mines of Tasmania has confirmed its Indian parent company Vedanta Resources wants to sell the mothballed Mt Lyell operation at Queenstown.
    The mine went into care and maintenance in 2014, following the deaths of three miners in two separate incidents.
    The Tasmanian Government has invested heavily in the mine in a bid to restart production.
