Just beautiful, I'm glad you still take time for yourself doing cards, keeps your sanity. You and Eric sure made a beautiful baby, I saw the video of her today laughing and cooing.
I like the yellow and the green, especially right next to each other. I also appreciate your 'rant' (not really a rant 🙂) about comparing yourself to other card makers. You are so right about the world being a boring place if everyone did art exactly the same.
I love the way you say yours isn't better or worse just different. My husband and I took a marriage seminar that taught this concept (men/women are not right or wrong just different)
Pretty card Kelly. Like Eric, I'm an amethyst/ Feb baby 2l28 which will be a milestone bday for me, my 40th. As a result of my birthstone being amethyst, lavender/ purple hues is one of my favorite colors. When my mom had our condi painted back in 2011 I chose a somewhat pale lavender shade for my bedroom. Thank you for what you said about how we as Americans are basically ingrained, some would say indoctrinated with the idea that we have to be bigger , stronger faster etc because of the greatest of our country from literally birth in we part from this earth. While I'm proud to be an American whose maternal grandfather served in the Army during WWII, that same army my grandfather served in as a Creole man from Louisiana was a segregated Army , my grandparents ( both sets but specifically my maternal grandparents with my maternal uncle ) all moved from Texas to California, my matern. grandfather said he moved my grandmother and uncle who was just a couple of months from turning 4 when my mom was born to California because he served in an Army that treated him like a 2nd class citizen and he wasn't going to return home to the segregated south for him, my grandmother, uncle or any other children they may have had to be treated the same way. I'm saying all of that to say this, while I'm proud to be an American, am I blind to the issues around race, politics ethnicity etc that we're still dealing with , no. Though we've come a long way in for example the fight for civil rights , we clearly still have a long to go given for example the current fight in Congress for a strengthening of the voting rights act.
As always, I love this card. Most importantly I love your message of each of us being our own selves, and to like ourselves where we are. You are such a positive person. Thank you!
That card is awesome! I love your pep talk. I put myself down all the time and I know it's a terrible thing to do. I love my birthstone! March, Aquamarine. I'm not such a yellow fan either. I love all the blues and I love pink. Thanks for sharing.
Really cute card, but wish it hadn't been such a long ride in the struggle bus for you lol. The stickles & glossy accents just brought it to life! At 13 mins in your video it was so cute & totally unintended that when you ink blended the heart pieces on the WF mat, it left the shape of a pink heart on the mat lol.
This is the reason I like to craft with others. This is where you ask your friends what should I do in this situation? But I don’t craft like this any more since I have gotten older. My crafter friends are on You Tube now and I say what would Kelly, Laura, Mindy, Jennifer, Kristina or others do. Happy Friday
Love the card :-) I don't think I would have the patience to mess with all those little pieces tho ... Have been enjoying Caitlyn's smiles and baby noises :-)
Stunning card🤩. Thanks for sharing your mistakes. I think I am lazy enough to go with the first heart you painted with copic, but for sure, it's so more pretty when you turn into distress❤👍
Agree on the glossy accents! I have been using them more lately! I will have to look and see if I have that Stickle color! Beautiful card as usual! Thank you for being our support!! 💕🥰
Thats so funny that you brought up birthstones. I have 3 boys. They were suppose to be born in December, April and July (which are beautiful birthstones) But they were born in November, March and June. Together that wouldve made a not so pretty mothers ring.
Everything about this, I love. The colors, showing the changes, the accent elements and why's, and the commentary. Love. Love. Love.
OMGosh! I love glossy accents and use it on everything. Love the card and how the smaller hearts pop!
Just beautiful, I'm glad you still take time for yourself doing cards, keeps your sanity. You and Eric sure made a beautiful baby, I saw the video of her today laughing and cooing.
Spellbinders is by far my favorite company. I mainly do die cut cards so I love Spellbinders, plus the prices are fantastic. Love the card.
It’s so pretty! I think the yellow and green look just fine.
Beautiful card. Love your honesty on what you’d do different.
I just love your tutorials and your stories and insight!!
This is beautiful. Thanks for this presentation and your words of encouragement

So pretty. The Stickles and GA really took it up a level.
Love the cards & mistakes as well ❣️

Great card Kelly! TFS!
It is shameful how we have treated service men and women in our country. Thank you for sharing!
Great card! I can’t wait for my subscription to arrive! Thanks for the inspiration as always!

I really appreciate that you tell what you would do differently. This is an excellent way of providing inspiration and education! Thanks so much!

Great card & advice

Aquamarine is beautiful!
Adorable card! I need to break out the Glossy Accents, thanks for the idea!
We all love knowing all "professional" card makers also make mistakes! Your card is lovely (and reminds me of what Laura Basson would do!).

the original birthstone for Nov is Golden Topaz. I'm a Nov birthday. The golden topaz is a darker yellow. I love the card...turned out beautiful!
Love the card :-) I don't think I would have the patience to mess with all those little pieces tho ... Have been enjoying Caitlyn's smiles and baby noises :-)
Adorable card! Love all the Spellbinders Kits of the Month❤️. We are always our own worst critics. Thanks for sharing❤️

Let’s ride the struggle bus together. Lol this sounded exactly like something I would do
Yellow topaz is November.
All I can say is that you are just too funny.
❤️❤️❤️
November is yellow topaz
