I was an English teacher in Kazakhstan for 5 years, most of that I spent in Almaty. I must say that it is my all-time favourite city to live in despite having been to other post-Soviet countries such as Russia and Belarus. Some of the best moments in my life happened in Kazakhstan. I'm writing this comment from the Philippines. I hope to visit my beloved Almaty again in the near future.
Very interesting to see Kazakh and Filipino exchanges, the contacts between the two nations are almost nonexistent after all. But I'm glad such content has been made now, as a Filipino, Central Asia has always interested me especially Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Hello Balnur greetings and love from a Hungarian 🇭🇺 that lives in America 🇺🇸 ❤😊 Thank you for sharing your informative videos I'm enjoying watching your channel and I just recently subscribed. I have visited the Philippines 🇵🇭 and I agree it's an amazing country with many wonderful people and beautiful places to visit. 😊 Btw, I found your channel in searching for more information about Kazakhstan culture and history. I'm excited to learn more about Kazakhstan! 🇰🇿❤😊
@@travelwithbalnur Thanks, my name is István and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Balnur 😊 I am very interested in the cultural exchange between the Hungarian and Kazakh peoples. I remember reading about how a group of Hungarian researchers had visited a tribe called the "Madjars" that were living in Kazakhstan. The name we Hungarians use for ourselves is Magyars (pronounced Mad-jars) or Mad-jari so I'm very interested in learning more about the Madjars that live there in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿❤🙂
Thank you for sharing your experiences with Filipino people. It's good to hear that there are Filipinos in your country. I've been watching some videos about Kazakhstan for quite sometimes now. I will put Kazakhstan in my travel bucket list and would love to go and visit soon.
About 20 years ago, I had a few opportunities to go to Kazakhstan for some short term work (consultant). Almaty, Astana, and one other city by the Caspian sea. But have to decline as I did not know much about the country then. I also worked in Chelyabinsk, Ru 200 km from your country but never had a chance to visit. Now I wouldn't mind going there as tourist, and may be do Central Asia - you know the silk road route, Samarkand, Bokhara, etc. Very fascinating part of the world.
Yes true language barrier is the problem in Kazakhstan. Been to Astana , Karaganda , Balkhash and Almaty way back 2014 as tourist for 10 days . Nice country to visit during summer time , god bless you kabayan while earning a penny... stay safe always..
It is a different language, but there are similarities in structure grammatically. The agglutination helps in the direction of learning the Kazakh language.
Filipino American here. Just got back from a yearlong tour of Europe, including Türkiye and the former Soviet republics of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. In every country where I met Kazakhs, I found them friendly, sophisticated and beautiful. Communicating in English was never a problem. I definitely will visit Kazakhstan in my next trip towards the Far East. 😘
Btw., Filipinos are a very traveling, curious people. It must be the genes of their ancestors, the Austronesians, who settled Southeast Asia, the Pacific, sailing the oceans. I've known of Filipinos in far away, remote places and I sometimes wonder why. And you definitely can pass for a classic Filipina beauty.
@@deancafe4739 You obviously understand Filipinos. Filipinos have long been maritimers, mariners since the days of the galleon trade. Currently 25% of merchant marine seamen are Filipinos. And there's something like 10 m Pinoys working as overseas contract workers. If you want to go back ancient history, read about the Austronesians who migrated far and wide via their ship/balanghays.
Good interview. happy to see kabayans Enjoying Kazakhstan living. Me and my Wife are planning to visit on October Please Suggest where to go to witness a very "Yellow-Orange-Reddish" FOLIAGE nearby Almaty. Thank you.

I would just say, I was born abroad but never learned the language .😅 I love the mountains and greenery of your country and have watched TH-cam videos of families living in the mountains. In the Northern part of the Philippines have many greenery mountains , spring mountains, beautiful rivers and white sandy beaches too.🏝️🏄🌻
Hi Balnur! How are you? I hope you're doin fine and okay. Anyway, you're a Kazakhstan national and you're from Almaty and you've been here in the Philippines for quite sometimes in Manila. I've been interested to watch your vlog when i know that you're a Kazakhstan national. Can i ask you a question? What visa did you use when you came here in the Philippines? Is it Russian visa or Kazakhstan visa?
I believe that Kazakhstan is always booming because a lots of modern cities out there. And according to the history, that is a country where to be conquered by Mongols🇲🇳 (Mongol Empire)
Modern Mongols have nothing in common with the Mongols of Genghis Khan. This is a purposeful lie from the soviet union. The Mongols of Genghis Khan were Eastern Turks. P. S. I am Mongolian and I admit it.
Outstanding video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

kazakhztan looks very beautiful country want to go there
Welcome to Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
you got to learn the language to feel comfortable especially if you intend to live in kazakhstan
That is true in many other places as well. Being able to communicate in English is fine but doing it in the local languages is infinitely better.

I do not think the price of accommodation is cheap. Rooms are cheaper in Thailand
You need to learn their language.
is it easy to get a visa?

Sometimes, I think that grammar is a big impediment to learning a language. I don't care too much about grammar anymore as long as I'm understood.
