I’ve been to Kazakhstan and France. I’d prefer France a thousand times more. It’s more beautiful, civilised and ready for tourism. I had no any difficulties in France as a tourist and I had them in Kazakhstan - not very good service, fake information, deception attempts etc.
I visited Almaty last year for Dimash Qudaibergen’s concert. A beautiful city and the surrounding area is stunning, especially the Sharyn Canyon, Kolsai and Kaindy lakes ❤️🇬🇧🇰🇿

I love the people of Kazakhstan! They are very friendly and warm-hearted. Among all the people I've met, I've never encountered anyone who wasn't welcoming with a warm friendship. I can't wait to visit these wonderful people in their homeland.
J'étais au Kazakhstan, en 2017 lors de lExpo-2017 à Astana ( au détriment de Liège en Belgique ) sous le thème : Énergie du Futur. Action pour la durabilité mondiale. Mais je n'avais pas le temps de me rendre à Almaty ou encore à Shimkent mais j'en ai entendu parler. En tout cas, c'est un très beau pays avec un peuple magnifique et très hospitalier qui aime rencontrer les étrangers. J'aime bien le plat national kazakh, le Bershbarmak et le fameux Kozhe. Bravo et bonne continuation.

Came upon your vlog by chance and needless to say, I am delighted. Home to me is Culver City, a suburb of Los Angeles which incidentally has become a horrible city to live in over the last few years. Almaty on the other hand seems like a well organized, disciplined and well maintained modern metropolis. Thank you for sharing your experiences in these parts of the world we live in.
@fermatichebellosei1595 Yes you would be able to get around any Central Asian countries very easily with Russian language. It's their lingua franca. Hope you'll enjoy your travel!
Almaty is definitely a beautiful city, but every city has its downsides. Almatys biggest downside is probably the driving, which is absolutely awful (doesn't help that some people just buy drivers licenses illegally)
@fermatichebellosei1595 Honestly I'm not so sure... the problem with driving in Kazakhstan is that drivers are just incredibly aggressive and pushy all the time because of their dog eat dog mentality. I can't think of a more uncomfortable country to drive in. The worst country for driving that I've lived in (by actual skill level) was definitely Egypt. No lines or lanes, practically no traffic lights and just constant minor crashes.

I have just found your channel and I am so happy. I’ve been looking for a solo female travel channel that engages me for so long. Most solo travel channels are from a male perspective, which can give a very different experience. Or they give Top tips and fashion advice - I love these travel journal style videos ( Gabriel Traveler has been my go-to channel for several years). I look for inspiration of travel destinations and your videos are wonderful- informative, detailed, and beautifully shot - and you a lovely calm presentation. I have a bunch of videos listed on different playlist so I hope it helps you to get a picture of what solo traveling in some of these countries look like. I am an Indonesian passport holder hence the lack of ability to travel as freely as Gabriel Traveler due to visa limitations. However I strive my best to deliver good story telling in an honest yet still enjoyable way. Hopefully you’ll enjoy watching some of these videos. В прошлом году приезжали беженцы из россии, когда наши Арендодатели им показывали наши квартиры---они удивлялись просторным светлым квартирам с 3мя санузлами с видом на горы в центре Алматы за невысокие цены. Они сами говорили что такого у них нет
В нашей стране особенное отношение к ТУРИСТАМ, БЕЗОПАСНО, конечно если самим себя достойно вести. Нанимать такси официальные, или рекомендованные Несколько лет назад приезжали к нам европейцы специально кататься на лыжах в нашем Шымбулаке и тогда они поразились дешевому прокату лыж и сноубордов, скидкам на подъёмы и спуски и ещё я нашла им водителя недорого, который их утром забирал и привозил с их лыжами и сноубордами. Которые хранились в той же машине❤❤❤ Мои гости были довольны и счастливы🎉🎉🎉

Yeah just make sure to avoid this city during heating season, air quality goes down significantly because of outdated heating systems that are promised to be upgraded from coal to gas but still is not happening.

Unfortunately we do have a drug problem among young people but it's not that obvious. You know drug business is quite difficult to get rid of in any country. Especially with high corruption. But yeah, all and all the city is quite clean and safe especially in the downtown, people are nice and friendly, and shootings are super rare.

This is such a fantastic vlog, giving a good experience of visiting this beautiful city. The metro station reminded me of Ukraine, which has similar kind of structure and decor. The beautiful mountains from the botanical garden is truly a delight to watch. The cathedral looks marvelous and so colourful. one of the most beautiful ones so far I have ever witnessed. surprised to know christianity is in minority here because when I think of any russian federation country, christianity is the first thing that comes to my mind with respect to their religious belief. Alatau mountain is simply gorgeous. look forward to your next episode to check and know more about the Aral sea

J'étais au Kazakhstan, en 2017 lors de lExpo-2017 à Astana ( au détriment de Liège en Belgique ) sous le thème : Énergie du Futur. Action pour la durabilité mondiale. Mais je n'avais pas le temps de me rendre à Almaty ou encore à Shimkent mais j'en ai entendu parler. En tout cas, c'est un très beau pays avec un peuple magnifique et très hospitalier qui aime rencontrer les étrangers. J'aime bien le plat national kazakh, le Bershbarmak et le fameux Kozhe. Bravo et bonne continuation.

Great Video Syifa. Nice city i wish to visit someday. Have many friends in Almaty and around kazakhstan, but to be honest recently it's quite complicated to flight there from indonesia (many transits).
My mother lived in Almaty when it was part of the soviet union. She had good memories of living there
Came upon your vlog by chance and needless to say, I am delighted. Home to me is Culver City, a suburb of Los Angeles which incidentally has become a horrible city to live in over the last few years. Almaty on the other hand seems like a well organized, disciplined and well maintained modern metropolis. Thank you for sharing your experiences in these parts of the world we live in.

Almaty is definitely a beautiful city, but every city has its downsides. Almatys biggest downside is probably the driving, which is absolutely awful (doesn't help that some people just buy drivers licenses illegally)
@fermatichebellosei1595 Honestly I'm not so sure... the problem with driving in Kazakhstan is that drivers are just incredibly aggressive and pushy all the time because of their dog eat dog mentality. I can't think of a more uncomfortable country to drive in. The worst country for driving that I've lived in (by actual skill level) was definitely Egypt. No lines or lanes, practically no traffic lights and just constant minor crashes.

Most solo travel channels are from a male perspective, which can give a very different experience. Несколько лет назад приезжали к нам европейцы специально кататься на лыжах в нашем Шымбулаке и тогда они поразились дешевому прокату лыж и сноубордов, скидкам на подъёмы и спуски и ещё я нашла им водителя недорого, который их утром забирал и привозил с их лыжами и сноубордами. Которые хранились в той же машине❤❤❤ Мои гости были довольны и счастливы🎉🎉🎉

Almaty probably is the greenest major city in the Eurasia continent. Trees and parks everywhere. Summer is the best time to visit.
Yeah just make sure to avoid this city during heating season, air quality goes down significantly because of outdated heating systems that are promised to be upgraded from coal to gas but still is not happening.

Unfortunately we do have a drug problem among young people but it's not that obvious. You know drug business is quite difficult to get rid of in any country. Especially with high corruption.
But yeah, all and all the city is quite clean and safe especially in the downtown, people are nice and friendly, and shootings are super rare.

This is such a fantastic vlog, giving a good experience of visiting this beautiful city. The metro station reminded me of Ukraine, which has similar kind of structure and decor. The beautiful mountains from the botanical garden is truly a delight to watch. The cathedral looks marvelous and so colourful. one of the most beautiful ones so far I have ever witnessed. surprised to know christianity is in minority here because when I think of any russian federation country, christianity is the first thing that comes to my mind with respect to their religious belief. The air is magical in Almaty. I remembered it while watching the video and I could almost feel it.
I lived there and played in a busy band for ten years - my second home and a huge part of my heart remains there and with its beautiful people ❤. I miss Almaty so much 😢
