This video talks about the fan made fighting game Among us arena ultimate. Among Us Arena Ultimate is a fan-made fighting game made by Starcutter, based off Innersloth's smash hit social deduction game Among Us. Among Us is a 2018 online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by American game studio Innersloth. The game was inspired by the party game Mafia and the science fiction horror film The Thing. The game allows for cross-platform play, first released on iOS and Android devices in June 2018 and on Windows later that year in November. The game was then ported to the Nintendo Switch in December 2020, and on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in December 2021. While the game was initially released in 2018 to little mainstream attention, it received a massive influx of popularity in 2020 due to many well-known Twitch streamers and TH-camrs playing it. A separate VR version of the game, Among Us VR, will be released for Meta Quest 2, SteamVR, and PlayStation VR, developed by Schell Games.
Among Us takes place in space-themed settings where players are colorful armless cartoon astronauts; Each player takes on one of two roles: most are Crewmates, but a small number play Impostors, which appear identical to Crewmates. The goal of the Crewmates is to either identify and vote out the Impostors, or to complete all the tasks around the map; the goal of the Impostors is to covertly sabotage the mission either by killing the Crewmates before they complete all their tasks or by triggering a disaster that is not resolved in time. - เกม

I think Yellow's Sus attack is supposed to be a double reference, both to one of Marisa Kirisame's attacks in the early Touhou fighting games, and to the Among Us themed Open Season edit.

Very much strikes me as the kind of Flash game that would be on Newgrounds, not particularly surprising as Among Us (through the Henry Stikmin series) basically came from that site.

I really love the concept of fighting games where the characters have very little differences as it makes the game easier to balance for the developer and makes it easier for players to rotate between the different characters when ever they want. I'm not in the actual development stage yet but I have been planning to make a very similar game but instead with Mega Man Robot Masters.
Brawlhalla’s weapon system kind of works like that, every character has a unique combination of 2 weapons from the whole set so switching between characters is a lot easier, plus everyone has the same unarmed moves

Never got into Among Us nor the meme culture, but I have insane respect for the flavor of this game. How the existing animations were implemented as move sets is super clever. Mad mad props to the creator.

If you like easy to get into fighting game with a great eSports community and cute animals you should check out Them's fightin' herds. They recently went multiplatform on October. Not only does the tutorial teaches you how to play the game but it also teaches important fighting games things like frame data. The game deserves more view it has lot of potential.

at 4:41, you say that olive's sus can't be combo'ed, but you can hit a couple of lights and a heavy beforehand, and then the sus, and that works quite well

I could think that Yellow’s “sus” is a reference of Marisa Kirisame’s a$$ attack in Hisoutensoku/SWR (because her hair is yellow/blonde) while Pink’s is Princes Peach’s. Though they’re the same.

Megaphone super is actually just a Guilty Gear Roman Cancel, down to the fact it allows for combo extensions and only costs half a bar, exactly like Red Roman Cancel in both GGXrd and Strive.

@@typhoonbh the colour is fortegreen and their sus works like a quick spot dodge. It's generally used as a cancel off of any sus cancelable move to do things like loop crouching gun in the corner or cancel the end of jumping knife to get insane corner carry. The whole concept behind the character is that they're the colour you used to get while connecting to an among us lobby so their sus and taunt are animations of them connecting.

one note. burst doesnt use "some" of your meter, it uses all of you meter :(
You don't need a full bar to activate it though 5:34 , just more than the first notch on the bar. However if your meter is full, it will use all of it.
