- TYING MY "DUO FLIES" GIVES YOU MORE METHOD OPTIONS WITH A SINGLE FLY. THE FLY CAN BE USED FOR THE STANDARD STRAIGHT LINED METHOD WHEN TIED ON THE FRONT EYE, OR USED AS A BALANCED FLY FOR UNDER THE INDICATOR WHEN ITS TIED TO THE JIG HOOK EYE , THIS ALLOWS THE FLY TO SWIM HORIZONTAL IN A MORE NATURAL WAY.
GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS WITH ONE TYING METHOD.
great tip alec fish alot of damsel fly patterns also a big shout the red butt nothin fly & the orange minnie daddy's love the videos the flys catch fish many thanks pal barry
Many thanks Barry , your positive comments are appreciated, please share the channel and flies with your pals 👍🎣🐟
Very handy tying tip. Tied up a few. Found the cut end of the hook shank a bar steward for cutting the thread. My answer was to butt up to it a short piece of a feather stem. Really push it onto the cut end then tie down. No problems. Thanks again for your video.

Cheers much appreciated, yes, as I said in video, take care near the sharp cut end , it is easy to cut your thread , the more you do it gets easier, tight lines 🎣🐟
Excellent. Thanks for sharing this. 👍🏻👏🏻
Thanks James 👍 🎣 🐟
Cracking damsel pattern 🐟🎣
Cheers Lawrence, that's much appreciated 👍🎣🐟
That looks bloody deadly
Thanks James 👍🎣🐟
It would be interesting to see how well balanced the fly is once it is wet.
Once you squeeze them in water, they swim horizontal Angus, I have fished them for years now , check out the video I did a month ago on the indicator fly method and you will see a demonstration fly in the sink along side a non balanced fly , massive difference in presentation 👍🎣🐟
Is this the same as your Balanced nymph alec
Thanks Alex, I will give that a look. Take care and as always tight lines.
