Pretty sure this is at my local PGA superstore! So cool we have a court.

First off, if you're trying to get bumped up to 4.0 you can't stand right in the middle of the court because you'll leave both sides wide open for your opponent to easily take you off the court, two you have to be constantly on your toes plus split step before you make contact with every groundstroke, power on serve on is not as important as keeping it in play (no double faults) and placing your serve, and get ready for long rallies to win out points so consistency is key in 4.0 tennis.

@@taleintennis Well people usually get bump from playing during the spring season especially if you win a lot, I found that out the hard way this last year because I just got bumped up to 4.5 for having an undefeated season in 4.0 which I played singles about every match during the spring. My coach always said the best two shots in the game of tennis are your serve and your return, if you can't get those perfected how else will start the point.

Ayye looks like the PGA on Preston! Solid hitting. Gl on the road to 4.0, a hint to winning at 3.5, hit strictly to backhand 90% of ur shots. Then strike to forehand when moment comes. Aim 6 feet inside the baseline sideline to their backhand the whole match. Work on your consistency and hitting the shop from all angles, it’ll help you on you getting to that level and getting you ready for the next one.

close!! it’s a PGA in Illinois LOL. and thank you, i actually played a UTR tournament and had really intense and exciting rallies with someone of similar play style as me, but when it came to versing a pusher in the next round i lost the momentum, any tips on putting away the balls against a player like that?

It all depends on the pusher, if they are sitting at the baseline a lot then you have to get them out of that comfort zone by bringing them into the net and angling balls off the court. I usually move pushers around all over the place on the court just to get them away from the baseline because they will hit like a backboard all day with you if keep them on the baseline. Pushers will always break you down mentally (meaning your consistency goes with your mental game) since tennis is a mental game as it is physical.
