"Oooh, that's so gross, I like that a lot!" I reach inside my shirt, pull out my golden amulet, and wonder if perhaps I've found the one with the missing half.
She gradded from Berklee. How many gigs have you landed and records have you written based on your superior knowledge of gain settings on a signal path?
Kinda wish you guys would've mentioned the algorithms you were using. So many things going on in the eventide stops. Kinda hard to find specific things occasionally. Well, you did mention the Mangled ' verb. Very cool stuff, and since I adore Annie's music it's cool to see another aspect of how she thinks about sounds.
Sadly I have to agree. Seems like she doesn't have a good amount of playing ability so she leans on effects to make up for it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It seemed to have to worked out for the Edge from U2.
"...I mean, who doesn't need more distortion!?" - By the one and only, Annie Clark.
any of the people criticizing Annie's musical ability here are obviously not musicians or guitarists themselves.
how can the cutest girl be so awesome at the same time. i love her so much

@kibadunno she's getting them from the Eventide pitch factor, lots of synth presets and they can be tweeked, awesome!
That she likes "gross" & "distortion" AND expresses it with such childlike enthusiasm!
Awesome midi brilliance....Annie.

She's great. Her personality. Ha ha.
How is she getting those synth sounds?
St. Vincent talking about pedals. Better than porn.

You can be an awesome musician and don't be showing off.

BB King is also mind-numbingly boring. To me at least.
A girl that likes pedals as much as I do.. I'm in lesbians!
